Hi everyone,

I am a software engineer looking to break into the professional side of the industry as a QA Analyst / Playtester. To build my portfolio, I am starting a YouTube channel dedicated to analytical playtesting (not "Let's Plays").

I am looking for 1-2 indie games to playtest this week.

What you get:

  • "Think Aloud" Gameplay: A video recording where I verbalize my thought process, frustrations, and confusion in real-time.
  • UX/UI Focus: I specifically look for friction points in onboarding, menus, and core mechanics.
  • A Written Summary: I will include a bug/feedback list in the video description using standard formatting.

What I get:

  • Material to practice my analysis skills and build my portfolio.

How to submit: Please drop a link to your game in the comments and let me know if there is a specific feature you want me to focus on (e.g., "Check the tutorial" or "Test the combat balance").

Thanks!

Hey why not?

I know this game has its clunky bits still, pinpointing them could be really useful. It is absolutely designed to be played with controllers and is a local multiplayer game, so if you don't have the ability to do this with friends and controllers it wont be the intended play experience. Only so much testing has been done in the browser, it seems to run well but has some limitations. I'll leave it at that, feel free to link/comment whatever you wish on the main game page. Thanks!

I actually do have controllers and live with my partner so it's possible!

hi

browser graphic adventure. work in VR too.

I do this game like a hobby BUT i do my company's QA test it (my company dont do games, do simulators, so QA is not game specialist)

Thank you! I'll give you a good playtest :)

I would honestly be thrilled if any of my games end up on youtube! Please feel free to test any of mine even if the review is negative. All feedback is appreciated here!

My current game in development: Luminara by CryingPlusPlus

My first big release from a while back: Oubliette by CryingPlusPlus

There is a few more done in game jams and all. All can be seen on my itch page.

Thank you for doing this, seeing this made my day.

It sounds really great!.

At the moment, I have a project still in development, but I hope to have something more tangible later this year.

Once I reach that stage, I’ll definitely be looking for some serious playtesters, so your timing and skills could be a great fit. In the meantime, you’re welcome to check out the project and follow it if it looks interesting to you. I’ll post updates as soon as there’s something ready to test.

Thanks again for reaching out!

If you like action RPGs, you might like Tower of the Immortals! This game is strongly inspired by top-down Zelda games and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance/Diablo.

At this point the demo is pretty polished, and most of my effort is going toward creating the remaining content. What I'd be looking for is:

-Feedback on the overall UX/UI (it is designed purely for keyboards, and controller support exists but was added in much later)

-Overall feel on combat and balancing

-Introduction to mechanics, which includes the tutorial and early game

I appreciate any feedback you have to offer. Thanks so much for offering to do this for people, it is really appreciated!

Hey why not, i have free demo on steam right now:  https://store.steampowered.com/app/3756740/Balladrion/.

Interesting... Zytho by Developer3244 <- the game I'm currently making. I know it isn't perfect still, and I'm also doing some quality tests with it, but I would like a second opinion for the game

Hi there!

Here is a 2D retro roguelike deckbuilding dungeon crawler called The Tower Master's Treasure Hoard.
It is a result of a game jam with a few features and patches added onto it.

Hope you enjoy it!

I think my game Back From The Tavern fits your needs. It's a small game that mixes strategy with a bit of humor.

I’m not sure if you’ll like this genre of game, but I’d like to suggest it as an alternative.

This game has multiple endings, but you don’t need to play through them all.

You can fully discuss both the pros and cons (I’ve encountered worse). Your feedback will be invaluable for the future development of the project.

Hello.

To be quite honest, I am quite uncertain if it would be your style of game, or if games on my page would be, but I would like to suggest my recent short project—The Red Dowry, for your time. It is a Story-Focused, Visual Novel game which I would love feedback on based on its UI design. I believe it would be something I could implement into future projects. I do believe that the game, as it is short, *might* fit nicely into the style of videos you wish to make!

Thank you for your time and efforts.

Are you still looking for a project? (I can give you a special playtest version of my game). Here's the link to the itch page with the latest stable version: https://99-studios.itch.io/twardy2. It is a survival game with an (upcoming) soul-like aspect. (Please note that I am currently working on a major update for the game, which will overhaul most of the game's code).
