This is incredible! The cinematography and concept of this project are simply amazing. This is without a doubt one of the more unique entries for the jam, but this was well done overall. Hats off to the team behind this project you guys killed it in every aspect! :)

oh my god this was an amazing experience. the effects and videography were simply *chefs kiss*. One of you must be a photographer/videographer by trade!

edited to add: if there was a way I could reset it (and not have the full word display again) that would be great! I wanted my partner to have the full experience so I opened it in incognito instead haha

what a good execution and idea for a typing game, i like how cinematic it looks and all the subtle effects. great work on the idea that your best typing distance is stored so it wont hide any of those typed characters, great game!

I first watched my friend playing the game. And he was so awful at it I had to step in.

Great concept and execution !! It was really fun to play (we played together with my friend, she typed and i recited the words in advance so we could be more efficient and win lmao)

This is what I like most about jams: finding ideas and concepts that at first glance seem insignificant, but once you try them, they change your perception of everything. Good job.

Probably the best game I've played in a while that's both engaging and tugs at the heart strings

This gave me nam flashbacks. The artistry in this game is incredible. Great job no notes.

I didn't know what to expect going in and was surprised by the  clever premise and the game's mechanics - I found it hard to type and watch the action unfold. After playing "How to Walk Out the Door," I'm convinced games like yours are the new independent short films.

Great concept and twist for a typing game. The way you play reversed at the end as if returning home was clever. It took me some tries because I'm not that fast of a typer, especially with English as second languge

Such a creative idea! This concept blew my mind :o

This was very deep and a unique concept. It was intense and also emotional at the same time. And I really liked how the first scene also starts in a different pose on each replay. And I really liked how you changed the effect on the screen whenever a wrong letter was input. Sorry, but I could never get to end because my typing speed ain't awesome, max I reached was the 7th one.

Awesome game...keep it up!

Developer

thank you for the kind words, im so glad you enjoyed! and it's all good, it's very challenging. i considered making a version that would be easier (as this heavily relies on having quite a high typing speed) but decided to leave that out for now. perhaps later ill add one:)

Did not expect to see an FMV game and was pleasantly surprised! Loved the cinematography and sound design, it really adds to the atmosphere and immerses you in the scenario. Someone feigning apathy at the situation whilst meticulously trying to leave without any faults or regrets. I had no idea that such a feeling could be expressed through a typing video-game. Phenomenal job!

Developer

i didnt expect it either hehe, was planning on it being an animation till i filmed some reference footage and realized it could all just be a video. then scrambled to film this the day before submission lol. thank you for playing and sharing your experience, i really appreciate it:)

man deep! i played a buncch of times in order to get it and its close! what i would love was to see the sequence play out after the end cause looing up and down down and up i missed all the small details! liked the reverse effect on the end! cudos! great work!

Developer

yeah i definitely considered the sequence playing out at the end, and may still experiment with that if i update it! thanks for playin & the feedback:)

Really unique idea. I like typing games, but this one was different. It kept me hook until I managed to finish it. I would say it was the right amount of difficulty. Great job on it

Developer

thanks, i appreciate it!

the idea was quite unique, glad it got into the gamejam 12 mins before lol

no notes really, the game is good and the gameplay is also, the only thing i could say it could use is some sort of a transparent background for the text so its easier to spot and easier to read for accessibility
