Game description
One fateful day, a lone crab gets swept away from his home by the raging ocean. When the tide recedes, the crab is left stranded in hostile territory. Help the crab fight his way home as you fend off waves of enemies, and burrow to avoid the waves of the ocean.
Balance survival with filling your burrow meter. Make tough strategic choices on which upgrade to select. And keep moving forward as you survive the deadly shores of the Crab Coast!
Theme interpretation
Loosely inspired by the Pixar short Piper, we used the theme in two ways.
1: You fight off waves of enemies in a typical top-down survivor style game
2: This game takes place on a beach, where you must survive ocean waves that destroy everything in their path. And if you can survive, use those waves to your advantage and earn new abilities to enhance your crab!

Really fun game! I'm fairly sure I became a crab God at the end. didn't even have to move and I was healing just as fast as they were hitting me. Really really fun!
I had lots of fun playing, but I think I take too long as the music ran out. Would be nice if the music kept playing.

Really good. Style is effortlessly charming. That you have to crabwalk to your final destination is such a nice touch, adds another second-to-second question, doubleback or press on? It's one of those jam games where the main question is "How would you expand this further?" In my opinion, that's a really good place to be.

This is my favourite, so far. It's nicely done and I love the part where you hide under the sand, the enemies wash away and the LPF on the music was a nice touch. Great work

I like the crab... wish there were more upgrades... and enemies... and crab... it gets kinda boring once you discover all the upgrades. other survivor games are fast paced and have alot of screen clutter to keep the players hooked and stuff. still a fine submission
