11/10 this game is PERFECT !!! . I instantly got addicted to it and was astonished by how polished and well done everything is. This game is my personal winner for the jam and I gave 5 stars in each category. Very impressive. Honestly, you could just put it on steam or other platforms and I guarantee you, people will like it.

Wow. This game was so creative and fun. You could have made it more obvious that you need to hold E and not just press it (because I messed that up and wondered why cleaning did not work), but other than that this is a great game. 5 stars for Innovation, Theme interpretation and Overall. Great work!
This is a fun short game for a 1st project. I liked how you already implemented important platformer features like jump buffering and variable jump height. However, there is a LOT that can be improved in this game:
- The game has rather unintuitive controls. Make sure that players can walk by using the arrow keys or WASD, jump by pressing space or arrow key up and the attack button could be a mouse click.
- The game's background is rather simple. Consider adding more assets and maybe play around with color. I like that it is already a parallax background
- The level design could see major improvements: Make sure to remove dead ends (e.g. by adding collectables) and also build the world around the core gameplay.
- A short damage indicator (e.g. changing the color to red) for the slime would be nice
- Finally: Please add sound and music to your game. Audio makes a game so much more fun to play and can help a lot with giving players feedback for their actions.
Despite these aspects, I still had fun while playing and think that this game is a solid 1st game project. Keep developing :)
This is a good start for a 1st game. I also made my 1st proper game in Godot (though it was not my 1st ever game I made) for this jam and I also had to learn for exams while making my game, so I can totally relate to your project. I left detailed feedback for you on the submission page, if you want to check it out. :)
I like the art and sound of the game. It was intuitive and fun to play at first, but quickly became boring. Consider adding more enemy types, and different music for each wave (which is sth that I should have done for my game too XD ). Player Feedback (like Particles, Screenshake or more interesting decisions) can also drastically improve your game. Good work :)
I like the idea of this game, however, I think some aspects can still be improved:
- Make it possible to skip the wait time for a new wave. After I had built some buildings, I was forced to wait, which does not come in favor of players
- I encountered a camera bug: I think a cutscene was meant to play or sth like that, but the camera moved to another seemingly random location.
- I like the minimalistic UI, but a tutorial or some kind of introduction in how to build stuff and control villagers would be nice.
- Consider adding a battle theme and maybe a more relaxed tune when you aren't attacked.
All in all, It's a nice game with great potential. Keep working on it :)
Hi there, I wanted to rate your game for the GMTKGameJam 2025 but unfortunately, I didn't have the time to rate it during the rating period, so instead I want to share my feedback here
This game has amazing SFX and a nice look. The gameplay felt intuitive and I quickly understood the game. The idea of using dice rolls in combination with poker hands isn't something new, but once I discovered that the game has roguelike elements similar to those in WordPlay, I knew this game would be great.
As for aspects that can be improved on: I would like to see options that aren't just positive for the player, but offer a risk/reward situation. Example: +3 multiplier for Pairs, but Singles don't give points anymore. Another minor complaint I found was these Pop-ups with text like " Higher". They were so quick I was barely able to read them.
Overall a solid game worth 5 stars. I had a ton of fun playing it. :) (I updated my game by the way)
