Thank you so much!! :)

I 100% agree that the explanation for the crow is really vague, I'll try to improve it. I'll also make it easier to know if you scared the bird or not, bit it will probably be an upgrade from the shop (when it comes out!)

Thank you once again for checking the game in an early state (I know it can be a frustrating mess sometimes) and for providing this awesome feedback!

Super fun! Loved the stamina management and stealth mechanics!

Thank you so much for playing! I saw the entire video and it was super fun!

I'm so sorry that the pesky crow caused so much trouble, I will try to make it more intuitive in the future updates!

Sure! Thank you so much!! :)

I don't really know, sorry! I would say it's a minimalist, retro CRT, 8-bit style... maybe? It's inspired by FAITH: The Unholy Trinity.

I'm very glad the graphics caught your attention!

Hey everyone!

I wanted to share the new horror game I've been working on for the last few days! And I would love to hear your opinion!

❔ What is Woodland Horrors: Blood Moon

It is a survival horror game inspired by Five Nights At Freddy's, Myst (1993) and FAITH.

You've been trying to escape the woodlands for two days. After all this time, you come to the conclusion that it's time to set up camp.

⛺ Gameplay

Survive a 5 minute long night while some threats are constantly trying to kill you!

  • Make sure the fire doesn't go out.
  • Look at the moon.
  • Listen for the crow.
  • Hide from the reaper.

📫 Feedback

As I said, this game is still in early development. I would really appreciate any kind of feedback: gameplay feel, difficulty, graphics or sounds, ideas for future updates, you name it!

Thank you so much for reading until the end! Hope you find this game interesting!

Good luck fighting your nightmares! ...This time they are tainted in red.

I'm so glad you loved the 'placeholder heaven' that was the mix of Google images and low-quality audios!

And yeah... that heart upgrade is an important one!

Thank you so much for playing and for hosting the jam, it was super fun!!! :)

Yeah, I think I made the bear fight too hard. At least it's not mandatory (and there is a infinite health/time option if someone really wants to beat him)

Anyways, I'm very glad you liked the style of the game! Thank you for checking it out!! :)

Thank you so much!! :) I wasn't aware of that bug, thanks for pointing it out!!

Haha! Thank you so much for playing! :)

Super dope game!

I loved the voice acting, the constant use of expressions like "cooked", "aura", "highkirkenually" (I don't even know how to spell that one lol), etc.

I laughed so hard at some fun details like the prisoners (N. Maduro, G. Freeman), the super-mega-obvious yellow marks, the Duke Nukem line, the car honking sounds and the dialogues themselves.

The gameplay feels super smooth and I took the personal challenge of not using the followers (killing them at the start of the level). It was a really fun way to play!

Sadly, I have to deduct some points due to the actual modifier not being used, sadge :(

Even if I didn't play the first entry, I can 100% say that this is a Super Cool Game(tm)! Nice work!

By the way, I read that someone had a problem with the boss fight or something? In my case the boss just stood there menacingly, tanking all my bullets.

I love how each character acts and looks! I don't know if my sounds were bugged or something, but I think that some background chill music would have been an incredible addition to the atmosphere of the game.

As other people said, the interface is kind of bugged, with the characters being lower than they should be and some textboxes (the ones with the options) being smaller than they should.

Very cool game! Maybe not that 'bad' though.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked the style of the game and its gameplay! :)

To be honest, the final section may feel clunky because it was my first time making that kind of gameplay. I think the bullets' inconsistency is due to the maximum amount of 3 bullets on the screen, which is totally intentional!

Finally, I started this game from scratch, but when I started having problems with the code I reused some mechanics and code from some of my other games (including games that I scrapped, which is always nice!). The bear is totally original, I don't remember why I added it, but I don't regret it haha!

Thank you again for the comment! I really appreciate it! :)

Thank you so much for playing!!! :> I 100% agree on both problems, I'll try to fix them in the final version of the game!

Haha! Thank you so much!! :)

I'm not sure if I enjoyed it. 90% of my experience was just fighting a dude until I had good RNG.

From my experience, the normal enemies don't give you anything and respawn the moment you kill them, so you are screwed if a fight starts. And the fights are pure RNG, an enemy can either hit every attack (so you die instantly) or miss every attack (and you are good to go). The same happens with your skills, you can either fail every attack (and die miserably) or hit every attack (and win without knowing what you are doing).

I think the game would be SUPER good if it was further developed.

Either way, great job! Making a complex game like this in a week must have been really tough! Props to the whole team!

Thank you so much :)!!! In the game options there should be an Infinite Health Mode and an Infinite Time Mode in case someone got stuck on something and wanted to fully experience the game. However, as you said, you can just ship it without consequences!! Thank you again for playing!

Also, to kill the bear you need to drop bombs on him!

I really liked the gameplay, despite being so simple! Feels like one of those 'raging games' like Getting Over It or Jump King. It took me some time to beat it, but I had fun!

Babe wake up, space capitalist peggle just dropped. (Loved the game but it was really hard, maybe I missed something)

This game really is a metaphor about how 'so bad it's good' capitalism is. Well done, really enjoyed it!!!

I love mayonnaise and I love killing people!!! This game was made for me!!!

I'm sure that the ending made Schrödinger think about something... That this is a fun game of course! I also like the stretching noise the cat makes!

I love how you can just go bankrupt and fill your entire area with ships! Super fun! :)

Very fun! Maybe the first part, where you had to get through a hole in the ceiling, was a little bit annoying.

Very cool game! I think the weighs were bugged though, I couldn't move them so I couldn't finish the game.

Looks very, very cool!! Sadly, I don't know why, but I can't hit the button to keep playing after beating the first level.

Very cool idea, I really liked it! I only have 2 problems with the game:

1) There should be more sounds and some kind of hard, bonus task in order to get a lot of points. I think those two would make the game much more addictive!

2) The items can move weirdly sometimes, which led to a softlock (an item I needed to pack started going super-fast and left the screen)

Reusing assets is the best thing ever!!

Absolutely intended way to play Dinocook!!! Hope you had fun :)!!

Pat the Postman reference in 2026 is awesome! I loved it as a child! Also, super duper fun game, good job!!

(Spoilers!) Dude, the 5€ joke is the best thing ever!!

Hilarious game! Well done!

This game is very good! I'm sure the more characters there are, the crazier the combos between them will be! It feels a lot like Mario Kart Double Dash! :)

Super fun to play! Sadly, I suck at this game

It was pretty laggy for me but I ended up beating it! Ctrl Z for the win!!

Thank you!!! :)

I've been practicing that bear roar for years!!!! >:] Thank you so much!!!

This game is awesome! It's exactly like playing a made-up game with your brother/cousin and just inventing the rules as the game goes on!

This is AMAZING! I love the attention to detail :)

Thank you!! :)
