Stellar gameplay and art! I really liked the pre-choosing of the upgrade. The only unfortunate thing is the room generation was buggy. The first try, I it a room that was dead end top and right, took a different route that took me back to that room but this time it did have an exit to the right but I couldn’t walk through it, which suggests the rooms overwrite each other, but not all the data. And the next run literally started with 2 complete dead ends so there was nothing more for me to do. Definitely wanted play more, I hope you get in a post jam fix!
Wow, really great idea and execution, I had a lot of fun during game.
I amazed how you made mechanic of moving on map to choose next dungeon, really creative way of doing this rouge-like mechanic
What I would love is to have this kind of ability to switch/change your ability, I did choose one on start and stick to this so couldn't really test other without starting again game. That could cause that players omit cool part of game you created.
Congratulations on your submission! *clap*
High, very stylish game. Everything is clearly designed, starting from fonts and ending with skill icons. I had a great time playing the game, I still want to make a couple of runs. I met a bug, a room that didn't have monsters and just wouldn't let me out. Really great one!
Really awesome! I loved this one a lot, great use of the theme, so many fun systems at play and so much polish and content within it too, great job!!
Super polished, loved the art, the UI explained the controls without a tutorial or anything, just fantastic. I also loved the added detail of your limbs falling off the more damage you took, further aiding the decay theme - I went a similar frankenstein-esque approach in my game haha so I appreciated that at least one other person thought of that :3
I did have my game bug out three times entering a room where the player character couldn't move and got stuck in the transition, and when I paused it would reload to the start of the game but my character was still stuck - I would reload the page and it worked fine. Idk if it has something to do with my browser but it is something. Ultimately though I was able to play through the whole thing and had a ton of fun!
I think with expanded abilities and room options/enemies this could shape up to be a really really good roguelike outside of this jam, should you choose to keep working on it!
Thanks very much! I myself did run into a couple bugs after submission but I’ll probably hammer those out in a patch after the jam. Appreciate you playing!
I really like your game! At first, I thought the room generator algorithm was broken. Then, I realized that I had to build my own map. Very good game !
Thanks a lot! Appreciate you playing.
Excellent work! This feels like a proper game! It feels like The Binding of Isaac mixed with Blue Prince.
Thanks so much!
I was surprised to see the Blue Prince-style map building, that was a real treat and was done very well here. Visual style, audio, and gameplay are all up to the usual ace_of_4s standard (meaning really, really good). The only thing I would criticize about this game is the fact that I cannot pull up the map before choosing a direction. Aside from that, it's a damn good jam game!
Thanks for playing! I did almost have an on-demand map implemented but it was a little buggy and I didn’t feel it was worthy of submitting with the final game. But for a next revision I’d probably have it in there!
I had to double-check if this was actually finished within the jam time — it feels like it should’ve taken three times as long. You created something amazing!
Ha thank you! I admit I did lose a good amount of sleep on this one. Really appreciate you playing!
He's done it again! This game has all the things I've come to expect from everything ace_of_4s puts out. A super fun concept, totally original characters, charming graphics, incredible sound effects, plus several clever surprises. It was esp fun to play with the different grenades. I died more than a few times but it was fun to see my guy try to hang on even after losing basically his whole body. Did I mentioned the sound effects? A+
Thanks tiny! You’re always so kind :)
Pretty cool game. I love the ability to build the map to reach the exit while deciding which upgrade to go for. I also like the variety of abilities and combination the monster can have.
Thanks for playing!
Very very fun! I love the idea of placing rooms with upgrades, took the un-ideal route a few times becuase of that XD
Gameplay was smooth also, no bugs
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed.

This scores highly on everything except originality. However, that is almost exactly the sort of game I want to make and play, except that ace_of_4s is also a talented composer.
Resuming from pause restarted me from square 1. Has [ESC] become the standard button for launching a quit menu? I was only looking for my map.
Ha, no, that is a bug I forgot to address. I changed the name of that button but not its function. And updating it got lost in the "gotta submit" shuffle. Really appreciate you playing though!
Really awesome game! I was a fan of it immediately just based on the name alone. I think the blue prince style layout building is really cool and the combat and upgrades were a lot of fun. Really polished game and incredibly well done for just 9 days. Great work!
Really appreciate it!
Wowwww... Very cool. Didn't realize my goal was to get out, thought I was trying to open as many rooms as I could. Also, didn't think about my abilities very much, kinda just lost them. Loved it though.
Thanks a lot!
I am impressed with how well made this game is.
It felt good to play all the way until the end, I particularly liked how the map system let you trade off upgrade rarities for the direction that you had to go
Appreciate you playing!
Very enjoyable game. Good work, bro!
Thanks a bunch!!
