Yes this is definitely a intermittently occurring bug, I have seen it before but I have no idea what causes it but rest assured I will release a bugfix for it soon haha

Thanks, the old planets werent super well liked, so i decided to rework them into something more on theme.

(the idea in my head was they scale hard with other planets, kinda like a solar system getting bigger and bigger)

Yeh haha, the divide being a garden type actually made a crazy unforseen broken combo, and i love it.

I am really happy that you enjoy the new systems, I was a bit worried people might have been too attached to the old ones haha.

Thank you so much for the comment. We really appreciate it ^.^

That does sound pretty similar, ill have to check it out!

Thanks ^.^

I think you are right about the dragging being in the wrong direction haha

Thanks for playing :)

You never know 🤔

Yeh haha it seems to be the consensus that the drag should be in the oposite direction.

If i was to do it again I would definitely make the game more like the last level rather than the first few.

Thanks for playing ^.^

I'm glad you enjoyed putting big dog behind bars. I always try to add a touch of chaos somewhere in my games haha

Thanks for playing ^.^

Thank you so much! :D

Ye that would have made it a bit jucier, good idea ^.^

Thanks for playing

Hmm that is weird, i havent seen that happen before.

the characters just use an animated sprite node which is pretty common, have you had that problem with any other games?

Thanks ^.^

Aight, add me on discord: @jackvanderkolk ^.^

I liked the look of the water, you did a great job with that!

I liked how you did all the upgrades, but it did get hard really really quickly at about level 5

Nice job though, it was fun! :)

The lasso mechanic was pretty cool, and I liked how you made the bull/boss show its intentions visually before it charged.

I liked how you added the objectives to help you get started and give direction.

Throwing in a few buyable upgrades with your money would be cool too!

Nice job! :)

Very impressive for your first game!

I had a lot of fun scurrying, the bits after the soap(?) where you lose traction were pretty cool too!

Well done :)

I think we should just end the jam now and announce this as the winner, it is fantastic.

Would you be interested in teaming up for a jam one day?  ;)

People seem to be divided on which way the arrow should go when you drag, I think it must be people that played flappy birds as kids and those who didn't haha.
If I was to do it again I would add some more options, or just rework the launch entirely 😜

Thanks for playing  ^.^

A former vet with a gun and nothing to prove? How could he not be overpowered :P

Thanks for playing :)

Thank you ^.^

Boing Boing Boing

Thank you!

Kayla is a great artist :)

I just looked that game up and it looks really cool, I'm going to download the demo and give it a go ;)

Yeh I definitely should have draw attention to those buttons at the start of the last level :P
Thanks for playing :)

Thank you!

Yeh I get what you mean with the dragging :P

And the game was originally going to be an idle type game like the last area but it took a different direction haha

Thanks for playing :)

This game really revealed my inner artist! I had no idea I had this skill within me just waiting to get out.

Well made game and it was really well thought out! Well done

Yeh we had quite a few iterations on what the core mechanics of movement were going to be, and they are still a little bit janky :P
Thank you for playing ^.^

Fits the theme well, nice work :)

I couldn't figure out what to do, but then I checked the description and saw it wasn't quite finished :P

The part that I was able to play was nice, and felt like it could become a cool game with a bit more time though!

Good work ^.^

I feel like the shooting needed more feedback/a sound effect that cut through the music because I didn't even know I was shooting at the start :P

Also the text was impossible for me to read so I was doing everything blind.

Other than that it was pretty fun, nice job ^.^

Rip, I was so ready to start chopping :(

Not a bad start though, nice job! :)

Mark goes hard in the last level 😆

😂

Yeh this is definitely a bug, I have fixed it (also the box bug as well) which will come out in the next version.

If you want to try the next version before its released (soon) you can join the playtest on our discord :)

Thanks for letting me know about these though :D

We are still working on the next version (steam demo).
I think the runs are planned to stay roughly the same length, but in this version there is an endless mode, although it isn't very well balanced haha.

Thank you so much for playing and enjoying our game!

Thank you so much! ^.

Maybe the fbi were just pretending to be beetles to get you to admit to money laundering :o

We are working on the steam demo and page right now and they will be ready very soon :)

Thanks for playing ^.^

The game isn't currently aimed at touchscreens, but the next version gives touchscreen users a way to reroll Dice so stay tuned ^.^
