This game is great, the mechanics are very fun.
This game is really fun I could keep playing it for a long time!
I especially love the stomp skill it’s so satisfying to use! Super cool! { @•̀ꈊ•́@ }
This is one of the perfect made game of this jam which I had played. The art style and the sound is also great. The game play work is done very well. HOPE you will make more games in future.
Please try my game also:
One of my favorite JAM games, I love the game design and mechanics, though sometimes I feel slow, which is understandable when you're controlling a huge creature.
Good fun and great art :) What else could you ask for.
Decent use of a variety of art packs. The game feel is pretty good and the perk system is very cool! I know you unlock healing perks later but I do wish there was more strategy against the enemies without them.
yup agree :D we spend a lot of time on the visual presentation, but run out of time for adding mechanics on the game.
By the way man, i haven’t rated your game yet, i gave it a try again , but both itch version and Gd version i got stuck in the intro. just goes black and nothing happened. :(
It's so odd, I can't find what causes this bug for some people and not others, I can't replicate the bug myself. I wish I knew :/
Here is a screen recording, might help looking for the bug. https://youtu.be/hMtp1x9g7Ts for both itch and gd.games
Oh, THIS bug. This is a simple one, I forgot to set a limit on the skip button after the Line Number reaches it's goal to transition the scene. Just don't mash the skip button and let the scene play out.
Let me know if it works for you
Like Rampage but with Cthulu, wonderful graphics and fun, simple gameplay, it's always satisfying stomping around with a giant monster! :)
What a beautiful art you have here and also the gameplay if fun and challenging. Polished as well, from gameplay objects to UI elements its beautiful. Did you make these art your self?
I would also like to know your insight to my game if you don't mind and thanks in advance.
just played your game man, that has some potential for casual fun mini games! but need more experiment on the physics it’s too sensitive for me, also don’t be strict to the player with that landing spot lol give us the dopamine hit of reaching the goal without properly landing it. so we can say “Nailed it!”
the Cthulhu was done by my wife using procreate :D and for the animation and building destruction was made by me using Aseprite and Spine2d.
Way cool. Glad to see your game in the jam. I remember seeing your Reddit posts. Strong Rampage vibes. I featured your game today in part 3:)
whooohooo! thanks! appreciate that man! :D i wish ican rate your game too hahahha but i usually play alone.
Totally understand and no obligation. I'll be online for a bit if you want to play against me.
i just logged in when i saw someones there, but then logedout when i clicked “REady” Lol. By the way you got a new subscriber :D love your format on doing showcase, clear narration and audio.
I think I just replied to you on YouTube. Fantastic, man. Appreciate your support. And, been great getting to know you during the jam.
Great game! This is So SNES kind of feeling
I like the graphics so much it look so professional but sadly it has no mobile controls :) just add joystick for a mobile user to play.
If you have time and want give my game a try and share your valuable and honest feedback.
already did play your game yesterday and even leave a feedback :D hahahha actually have fun with that game idea you have over there.
And yep i didn’t include mobile control, didn’t know it was a requirement in the jam. my bad :p
It’s really cool, especially with the perks that add a nice replay factor. It reminded me of an old flash game I can’t remember the name of, where you had to destroy as much of the city as possible with kaijus.
played your game earlier :D pretty sure we got the same inspiration Vampire survivor game. hahaha i keep the Meta progression, but you keep the Level up part.
Great game! The art and visual effects, the destruction mechanics are incredible, congratulations!
I enjoyed the art and the upgrades! For some reason, my favorite thing was the helicopters, I liked seeing their animation before firing the missile and planning my movement to avoid it!
The art is reaaaally cool !! Reminds me of the old game Rampage
🌟 Thrilled to review!
The concept truly sparkles; destruction effects and graphics makes the game wonderfully engaging.
Excited to see how the magic evolves with future updates.
✨ Wishing you all the success ahead! 🌱
Always an enjoyable experience playing as Cthulhu! And adding locked perks is a great idea of increasing gameplay replayability. Great game!
The game looks so beautiful and well polished! I have to admit that it feels so delightful to feel that powerful and destroy everything on the way! Kudos for the bonus perks won and that can be collected and used in the new game. That's a nice addition!
Gonna steal your team’s idea next time! “News Broadcast” intro on my next monster game :D Thanks for playing Fellow Kaiju Fan!
By the way your team should try META progression too, it would fit really well on that game you have right now.
Awesome, full-feeling game. The art is great, the upgrade tree is good. I really love what you've done here.
Greeeat game here!! I love Cthulhu, I love destruction, I love beating dinosaurs! Game pearks, upgrades, sfx, graphics… All work cool to make the game a funny experience, arcade , enjoyable.
Other in my top ten list!
you should try a Scrolling shoot em up next time with a City theme :D it’s fun destroying buildings in a shoot em up. just a lot of work tho.
