Really fun concept! 🌱 The art, music, and overall idea are great, and the mix of gardening with invasive species and obstacles makes it engaging.
Excited to see where this goes!
Absolutely loved this entry!
The art and music are beautiful, and the message comes through in such a magical way. The art and atmosphere really capture the feeling of wandering through a warming forest, and the idea of recovering research notes adds a thoughtful layer.
Honestly, this is one of the best itch.io pages I’ve ever seen—everything feels cohesive and inviting.
Overall, a wonderful blend of story and mood!
Appreciate your thoughtful note!
As for the evil bug—it’s not about brute force. To squash it, you’ll need to collect the special item (like pesticide) 10 times in a row,One friendly creature will appear and defeat. Think of it as a streak challenge hidden inside the simple design!
Thanks for noticing the design direction!

Indeed, AI lends its hand here—but only as the opening brushstroke. From that spark, I build, refine, and weave in detail until the world feels whimsical and resonant. Far from replacing artistry, it’s a catalyst that lets me push the player’s experience higher, with much more crafted on top of the initial AI draft.
Thanks a lot for your feedback.
Glad you enjoyed the gameplay!

This design shows real ambition and heart, blending ecological storytelling with inventive mechanics. Wishing the development team all the best—may Project: Pervita grow into a vibrant, hopeful experience that inspires players to care for both virtual and real worlds.
The Biodome and Plant Synergy systems are standout mechanics. They go beyond the usual “plant and water” trope, adding depth through real‑world botany influences.
🌳 Yo Jam squad! Your chaotic forest goblins (aka Glimmerwood Catchlings) are back to MISINTERPRET the theme in the best way possible 🌱✨🧹
Players be like: “Wait… in this demo we just grow tiny plants… but where’s the ‘Take Control’??” 🥺👉👈
Oh, we heard “Take Control” loud and clear. We took it so seriously we’re basically the HOA presidents of the entire ecosystem now.
Planting a sapling in the demo? That’s just the warm-up. 🌱 The real “Take Control” begins when those saplings start demanding sunlight rights.
Because they’re not just saplings anymore—in the final game they’ll evolve from “cute desk decorations” into fully armed environmental overlords inside the brand-new Catchling Sanctuary zone.
And trust me, the Sanctuary isn’t just a cozy garden. When you roll up with a backpack full of saplings, the game whispers: “Welcome home, war criminal. Time to take control… for real.” 🌍🔥
Appreciate your time and support!!!!
Fingers crossed this plants an extra star in our surrounding environment rating 🌱⭐.
🌱 Thank you so much for playing ! 💖
I used AI tools to assist with many tasks, but every asset was iteratively refined and customized to fit the theme. That way, even as a solo developer, it was possible to bring the whole visual style together. (3dmodel, image editing etc.)
As per JAM rules you can use AI tools. And If you are making game for players than you need to maintain quality as well as efficiency to deliver best experience. It's actually great to utilize AI for game making for batter result. But using randomly generated assets can spoil the quality.
So yes, it’s a one‑person team effort, with AI helping as a creative partner.
