You were right, I loved the puzzles! I could see some similarities, especially with the jumping in the lava to progress, and opening the gates, so of course I enjoyed your game haha. It felt similar to a Zelda dungeon, with the way we leave block statues of ourselves to form a path, good job.

I like the retro feel, and I really like the idea of choosing the correct block to break, that it will turn green. I think maybe give us just a little more time to process which one turns green and react to it. Of course, that amount of time to process could get smaller and smaller as the game goes on!
Thank you for the great comments and critique! That is strange that it does not work with the joystick. What happens is that when the player stops moving, regardless of if it is by joystick or arrow key, the darkness is supposed to fade away. It could be fixed with a little work. For the music, I was afraid that it was too urgent already haha but I will take your advice, and could increase the energy!
Thank you for the review. It is true, I couldn't figure out the best camera for the game. With more freedom it seemed too wonky, but maybe that would have been the better choice! Did you find a bug with the lanterns? The lady will only pick them up when she passes by, so if you are too late, you have to try again. I am glad you found that you can go into some areas before talking to the character. It was a very subtle thing, so that is great that you discovered it!
I'm glad that you enjoyed it! Leaderboard is currently the built-in GDevelop leaderboard where they can sign in to their GDevelop account to use their personal username. That could be replaced with the Luxodd SDK instead. And definitely more challenges!
I see now it says I submitted 6 hours before the deadline...was it opened up again with additional time to submit?
Thank you so much for your detailed comment! The dryad has a set path, and the level will end when she gets to the end. You guide the creatures to the lamps (they should stay there) which are on her path, and she will pick them up when she passes by. In hindsight, I should have made some simpler levels before the garden! (I ran out of time for the forest, so it can't unlock) I will check out your game as soon as I can.
Thank you for the comment. You are right, it's very easy to miss, but the NPC says you have to save all the creatures. In the garden you must save all 15 to unlock the next area. There is a cheat though, if you press 0 in an area, the dryad will speed to the exit with every creature haha. I will check out your game as soon as I can!
It's true, I focused more on the things in the list: monsters, mysterious virus, traps, science, find a device to fight evil, etc. I guess it's like Die Hard, it's just set during Christmas, like the first character of the game says. I will add the Christmas decorations if I have the opportunity to polish the game.
You are right! The aliens stay in the pods making it more difficult each round. If they left the pods, then eventually you would have 30 pods on screen and only 3 aliens hiding. Maybe that would be too easy? I'm not sure. Or more aliens could run on screen each round, but maybe then that would be hard to track them.
