It's true, I focused more on the things in the list: monsters, mysterious virus, traps, science, find a device to fight evil, etc. I guess it's like Die Hard, it's just set during Christmas, like the first character of the game says. I will add the Christmas decorations if I have the opportunity to polish the game.

You are right! The aliens stay in the pods making it more difficult each round. If they left the pods, then eventually you would have 30 pods on screen and only 3 aliens hiding. Maybe that would be too easy? I'm not sure. Or more aliens could run on screen each round, but maybe then that would be hard to track them.

I was wondering if anyone would find that, good job! Haha I discovered it after the deadline so I couldn't do anything about it

Thanks for checking it out! So you are having problems doing something in the game? At first, you can click the doors, and then the Collect button. Afterwards, you click on the spinning objects. The instructions will tell you what to do every step of the way.

Thank you for checking it out, it actually does have music! Maybe your browser had a problem playing it?

I enjoyed the idea of essentially building the levels to get through them!

I like this idea! The surprising part I like the most is that you cannot jump. So I enjoyed that some columns have to move higher first so you can fall onto something lower.

Actually, it does have music! I suppose your browser didn't play the music perhaps?

I liked the feeling of this one, with great sound effects!

I really like the idea of controlling the time for each obstacle.

I like the surprising 80s/90s feel and using each life to replay actions!

I really enjoyed this idea, and you did a good job implementing it!

I really loved the overall style of this, and the game play design!

Ahh thank you so much, I can't believe I didn't see that

Ahh ok, I think I understand now, thank you! Earlier, the beast says your armor is strong enough to walk on spikes. You do not need the beast near the spikes. As the knight, you can walk across them to jump up to the crystal from the platform.

I clicked on the submission button and saw that you are asking for game code snippets. I am using Gdevelop and it does not have code text that can be copied and pasted into a text field. Would you like a link to screenshots of the game logic, or something else?

This is off topic, but I didn't think it needed a new post...however, I published my game on the gdevelop website under my user name. But strangely the game is not listed on my game page, and it is not listed on the "Game Jam 8" page, even though I provided the link during the submission.

I absolutely love the Power Rangers look and feel...I watched pretty much every episode of the original 3 seasons haha. I like that you have to balance working on the controls while fighting the monster.

I really appreciate the very kind words

Thank you for the review! One small thing, that is actually not a bug! Any message in quotation marks is the hound talking to the knight. So the knight is actually listening to him say that. It's like when you first meet the hound, you walk towards him as the knight, but the messages appear. But you are right, it should be more clear! Like a picture of the hound next to the message so you know he is talking.

I like this idea a lot, very nice combination of styles, and you have to plan your strategy,

Very nice graphics and audio. One of my favorite things in games is using different characters for different abilities, so I liked that idea a lot!

Thank you! Do you mind a little expansion on the what you described as places that needed pixel perfect placement? I only ask this because I tried to make the hitboxes in favor of the player, for example, you can walk a little into the lava before dying and walk a little off ledges before falling, and the lava drops can touch the player a little before dying.

I enjoyed the art and the upgrades! For some reason, my favorite thing was the helicopters, I liked seeing their animation before firing the missile and planning my movement to avoid it!

I really enjoyed your storyline, you put a lot of thought into it

I will also check out your game, I'm glad you didn't give any spoilers ;)

Thank you! That is amazing you recorded a video.

I will get to the games slowly over the next week!
Can a few people try my game for just a few seconds, you don't have to rate it yet.
I ask this because someone said the keyboard controls didn't work for them, but they work for me.

Thank you for the information...I'm not sure why that happened to you, it works for me. If you accidentally clicked outside of the game, the keys will not work.

When you clicked the play button, did that work?

And then you tried the left and right arrow keys, and they do not work?

Thank you!

Are we allowed to work on our itch.io game page after the deadline? Screenshots, description, design, etc.

I had forwarded it to you in Discord, it was about the Godot web build giving errors about Cross-Origin Isolation headers and SharedArrayBuffer

It seems like the only thing I can do with the ticket is forward it to someone and add a message with the forward. Is there a name that I should send that to? I can also describe the bug in the message.

It is not letting me make a ticket at the moment. I made one a few days ago for a different reason. It was solved and I thought the ticket was closed, but right now it is saying I reached my max tickets of 1.

Unfortunately, the web version only works on itch.io and not the Player2 website. But this page now has the web version and EXE file both available.

I read that it will probably be next week when the winners are announced.

That is a great idea! I have continued working on the game for another jam, if I have the time, I could do that.

I really like the idea!

Very nice style and feel to the game!

Very nice animation and fun gameplay!
