I reached lvl5, but then I couldn't get further. The level was big and you had to do everything again when you made a mistake... which is easy when the static-phase is that long. I liked the overall style and gameplay, but a few checkpoints would probably had me trying a bit more. Nice game

Thank you for playing and the feedback!

Hey, great job finishing your game! I finally got around to playing it! It was overall very fun and had a nice challenge to it. I like how you stuck with the theme and I definitely had to be mindful of my placement anytime the tv countdown popped up. Perhaps instead of having the enemies field of view be a radius around them, you could do cone vision in front of them, similar to the early Metal Gear Solid games which have a similar stealth system. You could also add another ghost ability to sort of pulse out a wave of ghostly energy that might highlight enemies outside of view? Those were some neat ideas that came to mind while playing it, but otherwise the stealth gameplay reminds me of the first couple of Metal Gear games which was very nostalgic! Great Job!

Thanks for trying my game and the feedback! I love your idea of a cone for the enemy's detection field. I would definitely make the game feel fairer and would help avoid having enemies detect the player through walls and such. I also like your ideas for new abilities. On the 2nd to last day of the jam I started working on an ability where the player could spawn a "dummy ghost" for the enemies to chase and lead away from the player. I wasn't able to complete it in time, but I think an extra ability would definitely spice up the gameplay. Thanks again!

Sure thing! And that dummy ghost ability sounds awesome! That would definitely be a good one to add for sure!

The visuals are vibrant and the voice lines add a unique touch, but the gameplay feels a bit rushed. The lane transitions could be smoother to enhance the experience, and clearer indicators for active power-ups would help players stay engaged. Overall, it's a solid entry with room for refinement. If you have a moment, I'd appreciate it if you could check out and rate my Halloween jam game too: https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-halloween-jam-2025/rate/3971977

Thank you for playing! When I first made and built the game as a windows build, when the player used the "Ghost Phase" ability. the player ghost went from a light purple color (like it is shown in the cover image) to an emissive white color. For some reason when building to WebGL, the original light purple material didn't show properly so the Ghost always appears white. I think that might have helped players differentiate between normal mode and stealth mode. I'm curious what you meant by "lane transitions?"  I agree with you that some more visual feedback would make the game feel better to play and create a more engaging experience for players. Thank you for the feedback! It definitely gives me some things to think about and improve with future projects.

I don't know why, but it gave me vibes of the Winnie the Pooh PlayStation 2 game. Which is a favorite thing because I used to wear that disc out when I was a kid!
This is a really fun game! I liked almost everything about it! It would be nice to see it polished further after the jam!

Developer

Thanks so much for playing and the kind words! Glad you enjoyed it.

finally I get to review your game :) and just like you had to hustle in my game, I had to hustle in yours to avoid those monsters!

Really enjoyed it, the opening scenes also gave it a really nice and rounded feel.

One tiny suggestion for you: You should lock the ability to move and use ability while this opening is playing. Sometimes I would be dead before it even started :) But that is a small thing.

Great little game overall!

Developer

Thanks for playing! And that is a great suggestion. I meant to lock the players ability to move abd the enemies ability to detect the layer until after the opening cinematic but I think I forgot that. Your idea would work really well because it would still allow the player to move around but not be detected during the openings.
