Really cute aesthetic to this game, very much enjoyed it. I love the sheer variety of masks that come out of such a simple style, very well done. I only wished there was one more resource to manage, like instead of all masks coming from a single chest, a spirit might request one out of a choice of two or three, to add to the pressure a little. But honestly, my only critique, a nice and unique little incremental game.

Developer

Thank you! Love the resource management idea. We'd originally intended for there to be more ingredients and a recipe system for unlocking masks, but we ran out of time!

Slick take on the incremental genre. I enjoyed it all the way through :) nice game. Well done.

Maxed everything and got to 1000 spirits, but could not get the last 4 masks :()

Developer

Thanks!! Really happy to hear you enjoyed the experience. Thank you for playing!

Really love the spirted away vibes! And the balance was perfect to get hooked on the upgrade cycle dopamine. Great work!

Developer

Thank you! Glad the Spirited Away inspiration came through =)

This was such a cute and charming game! I loved the pixel art and the sense of progression with the upgrades, which felt rewarding. I did wish there was a bit more of a challenge though, everything felt so relaxed, like there was no way to fail. It might be fun to have random events little mini-challenges to shake things up!

Also, I found myself wishing I could buy furniture and decorations for the shop - it would be too cute. The variety of masks was really impressive - how did you pull that off?? Great work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! We really appreciate your feedback! We would have loved to add furniture and decorations for the shop, but alas we put that out of scope for the game jam.

The masks were procedurally generated, with each mask being composed of three components. Each component had multiple art and color variants. A lot of love went into the masks, but in the end we only had to draw 15 images to give us 254 unique masks.

I got 1000 ghosts, yay.

Very interesting idle incremental game xD

I make a mask factory line, haha

Love the art style and the amount of masks is huge(tho it's probably just change color and mixed shape)

Good work

Developer

Thank you for playing, and nicely done!

Thanks!

That was a cute game! The artstyle is super polished, I loved it, you can easily make an rpg (or any game really) with your skills. It was really fun, it was kind of an idle game if you think about it, even if you could, technically get involved and deliver masks (which I did of course), if you just let your spirits do the work you just win, still it was a fun experience, the music is pleasant, the artstyle super professional and the gameplay loop is fun enough for a short level, maybe for more levels you need to spice things up, add more elements, special VIP ghosts that need urgent attention maybe? or something like that so that the gameplay doesn't feel repetitive. Other than that, great job!

Developer

Thank you! Really appreciate you playing, and these are great suggestions! We thought about allowing you to upgrade the layout of the shop, but that ended up out of scope for us. The VIP ghost idea is cool!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! We were hoping it would be more relaxing at the beginning, and then scale up, but perhaps the scale up should have happened faster!

I wasn’t a fan, but I don’t tend to like idle games so I don’t think it’s something I would enjoy no matter what was done. However the graphics are very cute, and polished. I did find early on that it wasn’t clear what to do but that was a very momentary issue. All in all I think it’s a good game I’m just the wrong person for it

Developer

Thanks for the feedback regardless! Idle games aren't for everyone :)

Lovely game, great art. it  reminded me a lot of old 2d final fantasy. The procedural masks are a really cool system. And just watching the workers jsut do their thing and seeing all the different combinations was nice.

The pacing was ok until there was nothing anymore to buy, which was at ~500 masks for me. so after that i was just sitting in the back and watching :D.
Then i decided to check the mask catalogue and that was a mistake because i couldnt find the button to close it  and escape wasnt working for me in browser. but i managed to get back by finding the right combinations of buttons to click lol :D (click settings menu ,a bit hidden behind the mask catalog, then click mask catalog again)

So lets say the mask catalog mini game was quite challenging but i managed to beat it lol :D
Great game nontheless. it was fun :)
