The style of this game is so cool, very neat platformer. I love the lore, I wanna know more about this cursed place! Very nice and tight package for the jam, very well done!

This project is very well polished and I can't get over the art style, the character animations are so good! Such a good design. I love the way the mechanics make for some interesting platforming, kinda wished there was some kind of visible grid to reference to make remembering where platforms are in each dimension a little easier, and I feel that the controls are great for the platforming, but not so great for combat. The boss was pretty frustrating for me, if it took less hits to phase it and/or the player had more than one health, I'd be a happy camper, but as is it forces a very cautious playstyle and adds in a lot of wait time, which feels asynchronous with the high energy music for that boss fight. But there's a lot of good potential here, I'd love to know more about the world and these characters if this were ever expanded into a full game.
I love the hollow knight inspiration throughout this game, the art style is adorable and very fitting for the jam theme. Definitely more challenging than I expected, and after dying to overworld enemies several times I was left wondering why I was fighting them, and proceeded to skip past most of them to get to the boss. I wish there was a bit more of a reward to killing enemies than just health, though the health mechanic is very fun for sustained aggressive fighting styles.
Also not sure if it's my laptop or what, but the music lagged so bad that I had to turn it off :( I wish I could've listened to it, because it was super good.
The polish on this game is incredible! A beautiful art style and really satisfying collisions, sounds, and UI to go with it. At first I thought success felt a little random but quickly realized an aggressive strategy is much more effective than a defensive one. Honestly could've kept playing for a while if there were more and bigger levels, definitely has a lot of potential as a unique style of tower defense game.
Really cute aesthetic to this game, very much enjoyed it. I love the sheer variety of masks that come out of such a simple style, very well done. I only wished there was one more resource to manage, like instead of all masks coming from a single chest, a spirit might request one out of a choice of two or three, to add to the pressure a little. But honestly, my only critique, a nice and unique little incremental game.
Really cool metroidvania! Ambitious genre to tackle for a jam, I was surprised by the size of the map. I might just be bad but I got a little frustrated with how unforgiving some of the platforming felt, but the controls are really solid and the abilities combine together very well. Very cool entry!
Really satisfying UI, loved the advancement of the skill tree too. I don't play incrementals much, so I'm ashamed to admit I didn't realize for a while that I was supposed to be picking up the resources and thought completing a word gave them to me automatically 😅 So, I got stuck on the first chapter slowly buying upgrades and ended up too powerful I think for the next ones once I did figure out how to properly play - at that point, I never seemed able to pick up resources from power words, the chapter always completed before I could. Might be more of my own incompetence that got in the way there, but nonetheless I enjoyed the atmosphere and music a bunch, the way it ramps up as darkness falls is super cool.
Really cool atmosphere for this game, I liked the way the intensity ramped up over time. The way the sped up sacrifices added to the feeling of suspense was surprising, such a neat touch. And the ending cutscene is fantastic, great to have some story in jam games. As a lover of eldritch horror, I really enjoyed the vibes here
An incredible submission, there's so much content in here for a jam game! The controls are great and the puzzles feel very satisfying and the visual style is adorable. I had some strange behaviors with the player character when masking/unmasking an area the player was inside of, he got pushed through blocks and skipped half the puzzle once but most of the time he'd just get all jittery and then be forced down. Pretty niche bug though, this is a very well put together game!
This game is a lot of fun and the pixel art is so cute! I love the different playstyles and the way the masks mimic the enemies. I do wish there was something more distinct to show when a new wave was happening especially on the ghost level, I didn't even realize I was killing enemies until I died and saw I was on the 4th wave. Very good time though, really enjoyed this one
Very unique style to this game and fantastic writing that has a lot of potential. It's easy to envision a number of ways this could be expanded upon into a full game, well done! I did find the text difficult to read at times, either because clicking an option sent me to the bottom of the text immediately and I couldn't find my place, or because it blended in with the graphics, but very minor issue overall. Very creative!
This game is adorable, splitting up skeletons to accomplish multiple tasks at once is such a fun idea! I had trouble placing objects where I intended and sometimes placed them outside of the walkable areas, but that never seemed to break anything. Really cute game, I would love to play a bigger version with more refined movement!
