I made a video of your game. It's at the 2:16 mark of this video.

Simple but fun game. I liked it. Great jam submission!

Simple but fun, I like how unpredictable the enemies can be. There was this one enemy rat that seemed to be fixated on chasing me while the other ones seemed to turn at random.

Developer

Thx! The rats only chase you, when you come near them

The pixel art of the mouse and cheese is really well done! good job!

Developer

Thank you so much. In my previous project I used 32x32 Pixel. For this one we used 16x16 which was quiet challenging for me. I'm glad you liked it.😊

This was a fun little game! I liked the addition of the story aspect to it. It'd be nice if the other rats had a stronger color distinction, there were a couple times where it took me a few seconds to find where my character was.

Developer

You are very right. The colours of the rats should have been stronger. For the next time imma focus harder on that. Thank you mate🙌

It is one of the most interesting approaches i've encountered in the jam. I really liked the narrative parts which is suprisingly impactful. This maybe at my end but, i've encountered a bug that after the first game over, game starts with the first dialog then skips to the game over dialog. Great job overall!

The game was really cool, the text was really satisfying and felt really good. The Pacman themed idea was a cool addition too.

Developer

Thx

Fun little game! The soundtrack is awesome.

Quite a nice pacman clone! I enjoyed the interactions with the tester. Music is cool too!

Submitted

I really enjoyed the music in this game. And also, the narrative is pretty creepy, especially considering the implications of eating that pill and being able to eat other rats - that's kind of bleak when you just stop to imagine it.

Pretty good, I find that the music helps a lot with the overall atmosphere and makes things more creepy. It fits very well!

Developer

I'm so glad you liked it! I was trying to recreate the vibe of Alphys' lab in Undertale, but also listened to the LISA soundtrack and music from the artist vivivivivi for inspiration

An enjoyable experience. This may look simple but it's quite challenging.

I ate all the cheese, the scientist loves me. The scientist loves me. The scientist lo

(awesome little game!)

Pac-Rat! A great little experience (I will note that unless you full-screen it the web version's aspect ratio is broken, hardly a game-breaker and hardly y'all's fault)

Cool idea to make pac-man style gameplay into something scary! I think there's some input lag when playing in the browser, but otherwise it worked great. Nice work!

Cool take on pacman as horror! Loved the in between sections with the dialogue :)

Developer

Thank you so much, Gonderlane really is an awesome writer that added a layer of tension to the game. Really bringing out why it's a horror.
