This one is really good. Creative use of a streaming platform and making it look and feel like a livestream. Good game concepts. You fit a lot of ideas in for a game jam. The scares were good and I liked the feeling of tension throughout the games. It also made me think about streamer safety and I liked the inception parts of the game. I also like how the chat messages change based on how well you're doing at the games.

The ending felt a bit anticlimactic. I actually thought I did something wrong. So I went back and played through it again. I got the same result. There wasn't enough feedback to communicate this to the player. Other than that and the short game length, I really enjoyed the story.

Game looks pretty nice and I like the different art styles. Also good sound effects and music usage.

I really enjoyed this overall. I could see this turning into a larger story.

Hi! I'm so sorry I forgot to leave a comment to your game! I saw SoapBoy playing it, you're game is really awsome and creative! To be honest I was scared even if I was not playing it!
I'm no streamer but this game works well!
Awsome job, I think it could have some more polish but that's perfect for the jam!

Got into an actual fight with my IRL chat over this

unfortunately, I crashed a lot

Great job breaking the fourth wall, man! How original to have a game, streaming several minigames while simulating scares and jump scares in a house with a macabre atmosphere while I'm still playing that game. Great job and great minigames, congratulations on that creativity.

Pretty impressive to make a few different games for the GameJam

the suspense & juxtaposition of the stream & "irl" was well done! the start menu being OBS was really funny.

i liked how tongue-in-cheek the whole "gamejam games" were but i thought maybe some more could be done with it, and the minigames were a bit tedious at times. overall a solid entry in the jam constraint!

Loved how uncanny everything felt + the jumpscares. Kudos!

This game can really drive you crazy. I like that there are a lot of games that are different from each other. Some of the most unexpected scares I've seen. Great game

Okay, yeah, no, this is definitely one of the games that freaked me out the most during this jam.

The tension builds really well, and the transitions stream => IRL make you feel more and more uncomfortable, especially the FPS one.

Huge respect for having what is, in a way, six little gam jam games in one. Yes, it's simple and sometimes a bit of smoke and mirrors, but there's always just enough juice to make it fun to play through.

And the ending, the fucking ending. I've played titles like DDLC and Undertale, I know you can do a lot of crazy things with an .exe. I had chills of fear at the thought that the cut was just a feint to better surprise me.

On a lighter note, the streamer's job didn't seem that profitable given how little furniture there is in the apartment, and I swear to God I'm never going to wish your sister a happy birthday Dolphin1999 and I hate you.

In short, really cool.

I wanted to try it because your game also explores the theme of streaming, like our submission, and yours does it really well by putting you in the streamer’s shoes.

Seeing Moth react to the actions in the game is a very nice touch, and the chat is dynamic depending on what’s happening: it feels so real!

I really love the way the game unfolds, the fourth wall breaks in the game itself are great. I really enjoyed it from start to finish.

Well done!

really fun  and really creative game you did great job 4/5

Really enjoyed the creative use of a streaming theme, it all felt like a super accurate parody that I feel like made the horror and story work even better. I was really tense throughout most of the game, especially during that early move the fire game, I knew EXACTLY what it was referencing and the anticipation was killing me. Great work!

I wanted to try yours since we both used Streaming in the theme. I’m glad I did because you did an amazing job with the theme! Some of the minigames were less interesting than others or went on a bit too long, but what a great job putting all of this together.

The Quiz minigame in particular did a great job on elevating the tension. The first time the stream paused is also a great reveal. It sets up so well the next scares. I’m impressed by the amount of content you manage to put in, great work!

So far, this was the scariest game I’ve played from the jam! Cheers!

This was a really fun game! I thought the premise was really creative and well executed. Having the minigames be really familiar to other games with jump scares was a good way to build tension, and I was impressed with how polished they were. Great job!

Probably one of the best and scariest submissions I’ve played yet. Very meta. Great idea and what you do with it is terrifying. (Spoiler) When you find and enter your own house in the FPS I got chills. Ending a little lackluster, otherwise 👍👍

Post - QA

Low-poly is nice, the model is nice, game wise the minigame is both predictable and also terrifying because it genuinely scared me a bit. Thought theres an ending but turns out it was just this, I’m slightly paranoid yes but it’s a bit disappointing that it didn’t have too much of a replay value-ish

But good job team! I like the concept and it could be a fully fleshed out game after jam :D!!

The game is such a fun idea! Perfect for streamers, but even for people who don't stream like me, if you’ve ever watched a Twitch stream before, this game just feels almost weird when you open it, lol. I use OBS to record my gameplay for random purposes a lot, so seeing that as the menu screen was an uncanny sight, same with the wheel-spinning site, which I’m literally using to decide which GameJam game to play right now.

The mini-games and the fake chat during the gameplay were honestly such a nice touch that really made this whole premise that much more fun to play. I could definitely see this becoming a more full-fledged horror game if you ever decide to come back to it.

You nailed the scary vibes and the jumpscares are great!  You did an impressive amount of work for a 7 days jam!

I rated this game max on enjoyment, creativity, horror, and sound design. The other areas, I just feel have room for improvement, they were good but need them to be better. It's extremely unique and creative, the Horror actually made me afraid multiple times, the sound design was not disruptive and fit very well to set the tone, and I enjoyed my whole playthrough. if this wasn't a 7 day jam I would expect and want sooo much more in the story and the aesthetics. Even still, for 7 days you gave me way more than I could've imagined. I would have been scared to get all the games and moving parts working together in time - but I did not come across a bug! Things like the Windows error pop ups, the title screen with OBS, the post processing effects and glitches on screen, the reactions relative to how well/poor I was doing in the mini games - the expression of the vtuber avatar. The immersion was very high, perfect with the theme. Would love to see what a whole script playing out could be like. Out of the games I played this is the only one where I screamed audibly twice! You got me! AND that's not even including the clever way to include many different types of gameplay styles. This one was memorable for me. NOT sure how intentional the art direction was, it was sitting on a blurred edge of cohesive and bizarre. but I enjoyed seeing different elements and honestly, when I saw the Candle pixel sprite scene I actually felt fear, the implication was scary and I wondered if I could "run away" ....bravo! Why did I ever become a vtuber? D::::::::::::::::::::::::

EDIT: forgot to mention HORROR TRIVIA WAS A NICE TOUCH <3

Not gonna lie, this game scared me so much that I don’t think I can finish it. The concept of being in pow of streamer with chats is really cool. After the maze jumpscare and then being forced to roam around a dark room, I was honestly too terrified to continue. Max score on the horror right here. Good job!
