Loved the VHS shader! Its a very well polished game
I loved the mechanic of switching playable characters to solve the puzzles! I'm sure I died more than I should have trying to figure out which to use where. The old school VHS filter was a nice touch too!
Thanks for previously checking out my game, 9 Lives!

I could play most of the levels without any trouble, except level 4, for some reason each time I push the box, at some point the character falls under the wooden platform and it kills me due spikes under it or it softlock me because I can’t do much unless I reset the level :(
Outside of that, the gameplay went fine, the mechanics are simple and I would like to see a harder version of the puzzles just to push the depth that the game can have. The tutorial is nice and I like the game has more than english.
Visually I like it, my favorite is the skeleton and the music doesn’t play, I downloaded the game and still miss that part.
Good job with the game :)
This is one of my favourite games from this game gam! The gameplay was very fun and I love the CRT filter, reminds me of Animal Well a little!
So so good! For graphics, the pixel art and CRT scanlines looks incredible, especially with the subtle lighting effects. Plus the sound design was so good throughout. I was compelled to run every level multiple times until I earned all three stars and the blue flowers (i still haven't worked out how to do the 7th door in two deaths only though)! Fantastic all round, and left me wanting more. Great game!
A really cool game! I can't believe there's other language options for a game jam submission, that's nuts and very impressive to get done in just 5 days. I like the CRT effect on the screen, and the movement feels very satisfying too. You made something really awesome!
Definitely the best looking pixel art game of all I've played. Well implemented theme, and fun game. Great job!
Amazing , the concept was spot on , and the art style really stood out & the textures were super cool and gave the game a completely unique vibe..The puzzles were well made too..Great work!!
Thanks! I’m so happy you liked the art and the concept! I spent ages trying to make the vibe feel unique haha
Best puzzle game I've played so far in this jam, well done! Beautiful visuals and nice attention to detail, also appreciate not being forced to 100% every level
Thank you so much!! I’m really happy about your comment — it was a lot of fun creating the levels and the art, and I’m glad you liked it!
No problem! I'd really appreciate if you'd try out my submission too!
That’s awesome to hear, thank you so much! I’m really happy you enjoyed it
And yeah, super-hard jam games can scare people away from finishing them haha — so I went for simpler levels that still show all the mechanics!
great graphics and a really cool concept, the puzzles could have used at bit more variety but overall it was an enjoyable experience, its impressive that you did all of this for a game jam.
Thanks!! :D
Haha thank you!! I’m so glad you liked it
And yeah, fair — I had more puzzle ideas, but time said “nope” kkkk, jam chaos wins again!
Well well well... One of the best games in this jam for sure! Congratulations on the phenomenal game you have here! I enjoyed playing it so much that I went for the completionist route and tried to get everything! No bugs detected, the feedback is amazing, puzzles are cleverly designed, level design is great, the game plays smoothly, love the fact you've given the option to collect more stuff and get all the stars, great option for completionists like me! I have no complaints about the gameplay!
The game is also sooo creative and the story is really simple and great! It does the job perfectly and it also blends the mechanics with the theme really well! The main gameplay mechanic fits perfectly with the jams theme and is cleverly integrated in a platformer.
Visuals are reaaaally good as well! Love the simple but awesome pixel art, the color palette fits perfectly with the game's mood and theme, the animations are really well done too. The details on the levels such as light coming down, birds flying away when you approach them and even the reflections on the water are such good details that make a huge difference in the end and make the game feel alive! The UI, also simple, does the job really well here and fits perfectly into the game. There's only one thing that I reall really wish it was present in the game: music. A soundtrack would make this game perfect! Which seems like you planned on adding since you have the option in the settings. This also reminds me, I really appreciate you give a ton of settings for the player, not many games do that. However, I must confess and agree with some other people here: the VHS effect is too much and I had to turn it off immediately. You could bring it down a little so it doesn't hurt the eyes a lot.
Anyways, overall, the game is insanely good, especially for a 4/5 day game jam! I really enjoyed playing this and it's a contender for one of the winners for me! Really well done and one of the most complete games I have played. Really impressive! Congratulations!
Man, I’m really happy about your comment, thank you so much for taking the time to write such thoughtful feedback! I truly appreciate your support!!
And yeah, I noticed a lot of people mentioned the VHS effect, we’ll definitely take that into consideration if we decide to continue the project!
Also, you’re right, the music ended up missing :c
By the end of the jam, we were so focused on polishing the levels and fixing bugs that we didn’t notice a sound issue (the music simply wasn’t playing at all). I only realized it afterward, but if you’d like to see how the game looks with music, I recorded and uploaded a version on my YouTube channel :D
Feel free to check it out later if you’d like!
Once again, thank you so much for your comment, this was my first game jam, and seeing such positive and energetic feedback really motivates me to keep going :D
Wow, thank you so much! Reading this genuinely made me smile :)
I’m super happy you enjoyed the gameplay and went for full completion — that’s awesome!
And yeah, you nailed it: the music died heroically right before the jam upload (five tracks gone in the final stretch haha, but you can download full soundtrack in the download page!).
I also agree on the VHS — I went a bit overboard with it, gonna tune it down for sure.
Seriously, thanks again for such a kind and detailed comment — that really means a lot!
Loved the game but the VHS filter kinda hurts to look at, Finished all the levels except the 3rd door at the top, not sure how I can only use 2 animals to get all 4 flowers
Hey, thanks for the comment!! And sorry about that — I forgot to update it while making the level! It was supposed to be 3 animals indeed :c
Haha thank you!! Glad you liked it (and sorry for the unintentional VHS torture haha)
We actually added an option to disable it in the pause menu (ESC), though I’m not sure it’s working 100% on WebGL 😅
Also yeah… about that top door — turns out I accidentally made it impossible to perfect. Classic jam chaos moment haha!
rated the game 15 hours ago and wrote a comment tho its vanished :( I love this game and im playing it again to see if I can 100% it
the controls are starting to upset me cuz they feel a bit too rigid and I REALLY want to be able to turn off the VHS effect cuz on a bigger monitor it really gets harsh on the eyes~ can I turn off the effect? but aside from that all is good.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I’m super happy you enjoyed it enough to play again, and I really appreciate the feedback!
You’re totally right, after testing the level countless times, the controls did feel a bit stiff to me too.
Also, you can actually turn off the VHS effect! But unfortunately, it doesn’t work properly in the WebGL version.
If you get the chance, try downloading one of the other builds and check it out, thanks a ton for the feedback!!
Oh, and before I forget, I missed a small mistake in level 7: the game says it’s 2 deaths, but it’s actually 3. Sorry about that!!
Thank you so much for playing again! ❤️
The VHS filter can be turned off in the pause menu (ESC → Visual), but it’s a bit broken on WebGL — works fine in the downloadable build though!
And yeah, I’ll definitely make the controls feel smoother in a future update and you’re absolutely right — the VHS effect gets a lot harsher on bigger monitors and higher resolutions.
as an Animal Well fan I'm having a real good time ngl XDand thanks for the tip on turning off the VHS effect! (alt acc)
Wow, that's a huge project for such a short gamejam, very impressive!
I would prefer to see a smaller amount of levels, but more diverse mechanics. Once I got the pattern (where to place ghost and skeletons), it became repetitive
Thank you so much!! That’s honestly a great idea, I really appreciate the feedback!
Totally agree — having a bit more variety in mechanics would definitely make it more interesting!
I focused more on building levels than expanding ideas this time, but I’d love to explore that balance more in the future.
Really nice game. The design is great, love the shaders, the visuals, the sfx. Gives me animal well vibes. And with a full suite of puzzles. Very accomplished game for sucha short jam!
Thank you so much!! I’m happy you liked it, and yesss, Animal Well and Moonleap were my main references for the game’s art and atmosphere. I’m really glad it reminded you of them :D
Thanks! Really happy you liked the vibe — I’ll take the Animal Well comparison any day
Interesting puzzle platformer, my man! your team did great on this one!
I wish I could give gameplay feedback, but honestly, it already feels spot on to me. Big kudos to the level designer too. the balance of challenge and fun is just right.
One small suggestion: maybe add an option to toggle the shaders. They look really cool, but some players might prefer playing without them, so giving that choice could help everyone enjoy the experience fully.
Thank you so much for playing our game! I’m really glad you liked it :D
We added options to disable the CRT filter, particles, and screen shake — but unfortunately, they didn’t work properly in the WebGL version :c
They work fine in the Windows version, though! Feel free to check it out later if you’d like :)
Thank you!!
And yep — there’s actually a shader toggle under Visuals (ESC menu), but WebGL had other plans apparently 😅
Works fine in the executable though!
Really good graphics and polish! That's some really good work right here!
I’m really glad you liked it!! Thank you so much!
thank you! I probably spent half the jam just tweaking pixels and lights haha
Unbelievable polish for 4 days!
Thanks a loooot!!! :D
Haha appreciate it! My keyboard is still recovering from those four days haha
I absolutely love the art style of this game
Thank you so much!!! The artist here is really happy hehe
Thanks! Really glad you liked the style!
THIS LOOKS SO GOOD!!!! THE SHADERS ON THIS ARE SO AMAZING AND IT ALL LOOKS SO PROFESSIONAL, !!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I’m really happy it looked so professional, thanks!!!!
Thank you!! I spent a lot of time tuning those shaders to get the right vibe, so it’s awesome to hear that you noticed!
