I've made this error in other game uploads it's just not resetting properly. I will get this patched very soon

Thank you for playing and commenting! I'm glad you enjoyed it

Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback!

I really appreciate it, will fix this bug in an update soon

Thank you! May you be blessed with many pumpkin zombies in the future

Thank you! Yes I have a problem with not normalizing my diagonals haha. For this game specifically I left it as it helps differentiate the lead zomibe from the pack a bit more. Not really the right way to do that but hey, its a game jam!

For a dead man Brad can move! Trying to pin him down was a real challenge. Great concept though and well executed!

Very good game, great visual style. You nailed the atmosphere. You could definitely take what you have here and make a really good horror game

Thank you thank you, I'm glad it achieved it's goal!

Lots of great stuff here! A very good papers please recreation with a nice heaven/hell spin on it. Even with the manual I was a bit confused on how to rate people. Once guy came in wht a star passport, a snail t-shirt, and was talking about burying tea leaves. I had no idea what to do with that guy! It would be better split into small groups so you can get your feedback quicker I think. I swear I'm only being critical because I liked it so much! Very well done for 4 days

Interesting concept, I was a little confused but maybe that was the point. The court with their nonsensical questions were weirdly threatening!

Haha thanks for the top compliments! That's what I was aiming for so glad you enjoyed it

Very cool game idea well realised. It would be nicer if you could go ghost form whenever you choose as it would feel less linear. Also the camera motion was not sitting well with me but I think that was just a me thing. You nailed the noir vibes and the models, music and voiceacting were all great!

Really nice game. The design is great, love the shaders, the visuals, the sfx. Gives me animal well vibes. And with a full suite of puzzles. Very accomplished game for sucha short jam!

Thanks! I plan on playing around with the code after the jam to see if I can improve it so will definitely keep this in mind!

Yea I really wanted to shove as many zombies on screen as possible but I couldn't find a good way to still make it difficult and have them not all stack up so easily.

Possible options for a sequel!

Thanks Iza for the nice comments! After Monke Jam I just wanted to make something simple and fun, so glad people are enjoying it <3

(Also great hi-score!)

Beat my score. And looks like you got lucky on pumpkin spawns too!

This is like 3 times better than my best score!

Omega level rake-dodger

The atmosphere was set up really nicely with the music andlighting all the candles. The upbeat music at the end was not expected haha

Pretty fun little game! The scaling felt good for most of the game but became a bit of a waiting game later on (unless I did something wrong!). Shooting the robots was a unique twist and overall it looked very nice. Was fun to just watch the little guys at work!

You really should let people know about the sprint button in your description, it makes a huge difference! Really cute and fun game. The reward for dating the gods somehow makes the repetitive tasks less repetitive! I found myself waiting on them to change color so I could impress my favorite haha. Also cool random shark xD

Bullet hell aspect lacks in the fx department, some flickering and sfx would go a long way. The soundtrack and the VN story though, seem to go together very well. I'm intrigued with the story! It felt like I was missing some of the information and I just wanted to know more!

Beat the whole thing! Wow, this game made me feel like a bad person. The screams, oh the screams. And letting loose a pack of zombies ona group of innocent people..

Fun experience, good pathfinding. I don't think any zombies got stuck or blocked my way, though some knights would get stuck in doorways

Thanks for playing! My highest was over 200 seconds

Rakes are a zombies natural enemy!

Interesting concept done pretty well.  The disguise was funny, I just wish you could drain time a little faster, because you just get into situations where you are just standing holding E and it slows the gameplay loop down a lot.

Also A+ on the voiceovers!

I liked the idea of the mini-games that's a nice touch! But they are too hard and being sent back to the start is a huge punishment! Also a nice scrolling background would work wonders. Lots to improve on here but I think you did a good job if you are a beginner

Very Frostpunk with lots of dilemmas! Great job. Those greedy apothecaries..

A little buggy and not much to it. Also not sure how this fits the theme..

A description would go a long way and you can still edit your jam page!

Fun and unique little clicker. Wasn't sure what was happening but I figured it out pretty quick. Increased energy generation is OP!

YTA

I mean really nice concept! Interesting conundrums. I forgave everyone and got called out at the end xD

Wow really polished and with a lot of depth for a jam game! You guys did a fantastic job combining the story with the roguelike elements

Thank you! The battle style is a mix of chrono trigger and old school phantasy star JRPGs. I agree you recruit the party members a bit quick, and on reflection the overall flow of the story is a little disjointed! If each person had a chapter and there were dialogue choices I think that would go a long way to improving that section!

I'm an unapologetic sucker for power of friendship tropes I can't deny it!

Thank you! After day 1 I had all the abilities down except Mouse, I wasn't her to attack but I didn't want to have people use just her, or just Connor. I thought about implementing physical dmg / magical dmg differences but then I remembered I only had 3 days xD

Thanks so much for the in-depth reply! Really appreciate it. Hopefully I can apply some of this to my future projects

Tough game but has potential. It would be really cool if the second pal had their own small screen when they walked off screen so you could see where they were. Would be a bit tough to do in a jam probably!

Love the aethestic. You matched the BG visuals and BGM very well. Was fun to play, so much so I was hoping for a few more secret walls to blow up! And it was too short!

I think you are using Godot? I'm also a Godot dev; you've got a lot of nice effects in the game like the way Mouse's hair moves. If you have any tips for those kinds of fx that make the game feel alive I would love to hear it! <3

So much packed into this for a jam game! Tutorial, Mini-map, multiple enemy types, multiple pal types, multiple weapon types and currency and upgrades? Very impressive

The game its self was fun but those little guys are so fast!

Nice models and attackes especially mouses. I played again and just summoned only mouse for maximum laser hell!
