Oh my gosh! I didn't expect any of this. This was so unsettling and demented. Bravo!
short but really fun! Well done!
i like this!! i especially liked the "i'll help you down but my wife comes first" LOL. super interesting take on things!
What a short but effective game! I thought the artstyle was cute but the story itself was sad. I don't know if there was supposed to be sound or not, but the silence did give it kind of a weird, somber atmosphere. Well done!
That was deep and sad. I wasn't expecting this, but it's a breth of fresh air among all the "die/respawn/step on dead body" platformers that everyone seem to go for. Really moving, now I'm texting my wife to see how's her day. Makes you appreciate what you have. Great game. Gotta say I can't really see the theme well implemented (opportunity?), but I'll give it a good score anyway just because it got to me in a way other games didn't. Good job!
A VERY cool and creepy game. Also quite sad, and tells a good narrative about grief in a short period of time. I don't know if it's intention, but the End Game button doesn't take you anywhere. If that's on purpose, I actually think that's very cool for the story of this game. Good job with this one!
Creepy...
Would be interesting to hear the full story!
A short yet profound game! I truly felt the agony of losing his wife.
This got me good. It was just as sad as it was unsettling--perfectly captures what grieving feels like imo. The art and details honestly convey a lot, you did a really amazing job given the simple nature of the game :)
Very grim, nice!
Loving the symbolism. Good job!
Good stuff. A really interesting short. I like the little details and love the ambiguity of the story. Really well done!
I love the mechanic of using the mouse to hover over things to see what they say. I also loved how you averted expectations! You made a habit of us pressing 'E' to get out of bed and at one point we couldn't do that because the character refused to. Short and sweet, very nice!
Off, that was really creepy ..It gave me chills , Thankfully it did't had any audio on-my nerves couldn't have handled it..Great game..All the best
that was very well paced, very honest depiction of the seven stages. And the level designs were a cool way of reflecting the pc's mental state
death is an opportunity, to press K to talk to wife <3
Thank you so much !!
“death is an opportunity, to press K to talk to wife” is my new favourite saying
Really cool little game, and just the right amount of unsettling (very). I think you did a really good job depicting grief too, in how unending and exhausting it can be. Good job :)
I really liked the pacing of the story and gameplay - the choice of having the player move at a slow speed, giving them the chance to interact with everything in each room, was a great design decision. Great work!
Very unsettling, as it's supposed to be. Nice job
Damn, nice concept. Well done on the pixel art stuff and story
Crazy concept. And damn it makes me feel sad in some Kind of way :O but Well done
