Thanks for playing! And that's a really good idea, wish I had thought of it sooner :)

Thanks so much for playing! I'm really glad it's resonating with people :)

Thank you!!! I'm so glad it wasn't confusing, considering how much I had to pack into such a short experience :)

I'm kinda blown away that someone would call it a masterpiece, haha. Thank you so much!

Thank you! Wish I could take all the credit for the UI, but the heavy lifting was done by the Dialogic plugin for Godot, I just tweaked it a bit :)

Would really appreciate if you checked mine out :) https://itch.io/jam/jamsepticeye/rate/3931470

Really cool little game, and just the right amount of unsettling (very). I think you did a really good job depicting grief too, in how unending and exhausting it can be. Good job :)

Thank you for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed :)

Would appreciate if you gave mine a go :) https://itch.io/jam/jamsepticeye/rate/3931470

Cool use of the theme, and great pixel art! (But I'm also a grasshopper hater)

Here's mine! Would love if you checked it out :) https://itch.io/jam/jamsepticeye/rate/3931470

Thanks so much! Despite the weight of the topic, I really wanted to have a few lighter moments so it wasn't non-stop angst. I'm glad that came through :)

Really, really cool! Such incredible art, really endearing characters and just a generally interesting premise. Good work!

Thank you! I'm really glad you enjoyed! And super pleased the last character is having the impact I was hoping for :)

I'd super appreciate if you gave mine a go! :) https://itch.io/jam/jamsepticeye/rate/3931470

Thanks so much!

Absolutely great to look at, and it's got a really solid core gameplay loop too! Good job!

Love the idea of created your own haunted hotel - it fits the theme really well! Would be great if you continued working on this, and added a lil tutorial / goal system :)

'Mum, what happens when we die?'

'So there's this dog...'

This was fun, and an absolutely hilarious take on the theme. And the dog god art? Incredible. I have no notes.

I really love all the critters you can become in this, and it's such a clever use of the theme too! I just wish I weren't so bad at avoiding things, lmao

Really fun, it had me giggling a lot! Just wish it lasted longer!

Very cute! And I really love the whole infecting mechanic, I think it's a really cool take on the theme. You can ignore this if you like, but I've got a couple of tips for godot. 1) 'normalising' vectors will make it so that your diagonal speed isn't faster and 2) look into y-sorting for the sprite (so you can have your cute lil slime either walk in front or behind of the trees). Sorry, not trying to nitpick or anything, it's just that this is stuff I learnt really recently and got excited to share, lol :)

Really awesome job! Would love to see a more polished/ longer version of this. The art is also fantastic!

I really enjoy the lil character animation, I feel like I'm just ferally swiping at things :)

I think it'd benefit from some kind of visual guide for the aiming (or maybe I'm just bad at it lol). But congrats on the first jam, it's a really solid start!

I do love pachinko, but I killed my pet and got 3 x2 in a row so it was very very quick lmao!

And thank you for playing! I was hoping to hit people in the emotions with this one, so I'm super happy my evil plan worked :)

Wow, thank you! The last character was actually my first idea, so I'm really happy to know it made an impact! :)

Thank you so much!

Thank you! And yeah, I'm proud! I hardly ever finish projects I work on and here I am busting out a game in 5 days lol! :)

Thanks for playing, and congrats on your first game too! Truly is a wild ride :)

Thanks for playing and giving feedback! I really like the idea of varying the sfx a bit, thanks for the tip!

Thanks for taking the time to play and give feedback!!!

Sorry, I really have no idea why it wouldn't be working :( out of curiosity, what browser are you using? perhaps trying a different one might give you some luck

Ah not sure why that would be - are you playing on browser or downloaded?

Thanks so much, I'm glad you had fun!!!

Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the pentagon tiling system, I'm super proud of it :)
