Really nice, polished experience! I played on Normal and on that difficulty, at least for me, the pop-ups and dialogues never felt truly annoying. Maybe it's because I got used to being interrupted while working on stuff IRL? Hahahaha
Great work!
Addictive game, can't stop playing. The combinations of minigame and dialogues are just right and keep you on your toes without being boring. 10/10 ⭐
The game is really nice! I love the overall atmosphere - the music, art, and characters create a perfect detective feel. I especially loved the typing sound! The theme is integrated nicely - the timer adds a sense of urgency, and the mini-games are fun and serve their role perfectly by distracting you from the work.
I have just a couple of small suggestions. Sometimes I couldn’t tell the difference between “a” and “o”, even in fullscreen. Also, I think adding a visual indicator in the reports (like a tab) would help differentiate between a new line and a simple space.
Another note: I found it a bit frustrating when new customers and mini-games appeared at the same time. I knew the mini-game and typing would be locked once the dialogue started, so I felt pressured to finish the mini-game faster. I understand that the locking mechanic does its job of making the clients’ interruption frustrating, but I thought it would be nice if clients and mini-games didn’t appear simultaneously.. That’s just my opinion based on my experience.
Fantastic job overall - I enjoyed playing it a lot!
Hey there, loved playing this! I generally like typing so the gameplay, with the very good looking visuals, nice music and satisfying sfx, made it a really fun experience! I'm also a big fan of diegetic elements in games, so it was very cool to see that here.
Fits the theme so well, great art, really polished!
Close setting button doesn't work when not fullscreen btw
Thanks! Happy you liked it!
It does work but the hitbox of itch's overlay (the three buttons "View all by...", "Add to collection" and "Rate for ...") prevent the click from actually going to the game. If you make it so that the close button is not next to the overlay part you won't have that issue.

Ahh I see, thanks
Pretty great game! Good mini-games. Nice narrative. Good character design. Nice ambiance.
This really gave a good feel for the whole abandoning projects theme! I definitely felt hectic trying to quickly complete them all before time ran out. The popping balloons one was really satisfying. Also I liked the little animated coffee on the side, gave the whole scene a lively touch. Nice work!
The games got really nice polish, and it's really funny! Impressive that you added a leaderboard, that's super cool. And the sounds were great. The art was amazing too, and the minigames were fun and made gameplay interesting.
The only thing I felt could be improved was (maybe I'm a boomer) I couldn't tell what the numbers were sometimes. Maybe my fault for not player in full screen, but I feel like the computer window could have been bigger.
Thanks for the game!
Thank you for playing :) I feel the same way about the font size. I'll note that down for future updates!
I liked this game, I really got a chaotic feeling from all the sounds and minigames and the art style/palette was cohesive too :)
Thank you :D Your game was very nice too!
Love this game because I used to do a lot of monkeytype, keyhero, and keybr, I'm learning Colemak right now so it's perfect! The mechanics to add time to the timer with those mini-games is brilliant, even if they do feel annoying (mildly is putting it... mildly), they feel like popup ads.
I got really confused with the match the shape minigame at first because I'd thought that you had to drag the lighter/grey colored shapes to the black (what I thought at first) holes. Also, the build tower game I couldn't get right, which was frustrating.
Other than that, I love the keyboard typing SFX, it's so crisp. And the music is kind of a love-hate for me. I love it for the game, but I hate how I feel rushed, especially when the cymbal? open hat? hi hats? play as the time runs out. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but it sure as hell lit a fire under me and got me to type faster.
Thanks for the good review! its heavily appreciated!
Yes with the music, the goal was to increase the sense of urgency as you get closer to the deadline, so I'm glad its fulfilled its purpose 😭
Hahaha, one of our players was playing it casually on normal, and they muted the music and played their own casual stuff. We tried to optimize the balance between how much you get to type and how annoying the popups are... but well, they are still meant to be annoying, I guess XD
Working on a "peaceful" mode of the game where it's just pure typing Dr. K transcripts for private use (or public? :d)
The art was excellent! Good game mechanics too with all the mini games of distractions! I enjoyed it a lot!
Thank you :)
Really cool game!
What I enjoyed:
What I think can be improved:
Overall, the game is really well executed, and I enjoyed many aspects of it, my favourite game so far!
Thank you for the feedback and compliments!! Our composer is stoked that you liked the music :D
I do think that the tower game should be banished as well >:( There's a way to make it work if you scroll to the comments! I also feel the same way about the first part of the writing... noted to take notes during brainstorming...
Being your favorite game is a huge compliment! Thank you so much!
