Wow, congrats to everyone! And a huge congrats to Ruby’s Resolve on the double win - well deserved!

Thanks to everyone who took part in the jam - all the participants and organizers. It was such a valuable experience for me, not just in game development itself, but in being part of an active community and connecting with other people. This was my first time taking part in a community event, and I thought everyone here was really thoughtful and kind - I really appreciate that.

Looking forward to the next game jam!

I love how beautiful and relaxing the game is. The visual changes in the world as you approach objects, combined with the nice music and sounds, create a great atmosphere.

The game has some minor bugs, like being able to jump while meditating or camera clipping below the surface. Besides that, it’s very well done.

I also think adding a light narrative alongside would add a nice touch. Good job!

Wow I had a really great time playing this game! I love the creative concept, the twist, and all the accompanying visuals! The use of Windows notes for the tutorial and text was a uniquely fitting and immersive touch. The final boss caught me off guard - I got scared and exited at the same time, haha. Also, the magic is OP :D I bought all the upgrades in the shop. Great job on the game, I enjoyed it!

Finished the game, I love it! This is a great puzzle game with unique mechanics. The art and sfx are used well and complement each other perfectly. The story and mystery also really pulled me in. I spent quite some time on the last level until I realized I had somehow forgotten about the recall power LOL. Fantastic job!

This is a really fun and polished game! I like the retro visual style and music/sfx. The game mechanics are simple yet really engaging. The power-ups after leveling up look great.

My only complaint is I’d like the pacing to the next level to be faster. I also found that I could dash infinitely if I pressed the dash button quickly, oops.

Besides that, it’s a pretty solid game jam entry!

I love the story, it evokes deep feelings in my soul. I can tell you wanted to explore profound themes, and you did an amazing job! Though the game is small, the experience is vast and unique. Also the visuals are sooo beautiful - I especially like the integration of 2D elements into the 3D world. I wish there were more (maybe some interactions, choices), as the story was so immersive that you just don’t want to leave that world too soon.

Thank you so much, I appreciate your kind words! Yay a fellow Osu! enjoyer here too (though I haven’t played Osu!Mania game mode) :D

And thanks for the idea of adding a different sound for the “great” note, I hadn’t thought about that. It could really add a nice touch to the game experience.

Also wow what a score, nice job!

Thank you for your words! Ohh I get your feedback about arrow keys looking similar as the notes! I think adding some visual distinction between them would be a great idea (maybe an outline would work well). Thanks again!

I like the story and the game’s unique vibe! The art, sounds, and music are awesome and create a dreamy atmosphere. I also enjoyed the fight with the bunny - it was pretty fun.

However, in my experience, the platforming might be a bit too hard - I stopped playing after many failed attempts at the Clock Tower. I also noticed a small slide when attacking while moving (for example, when moving, I hit J, then released the move button), which sometimes made me accidentally slide into slimes and take damage.

Besides those points, I enjoyed the game. Nicely done!

Sweet story with a great art. Fishing adds nice pauses to reflect on the dialogue. I like the POV of raising Morgan, where you’re trying to be helpful and just a good parent. Well done!

Great game with a cool art style! I especially enjoyed the sounds and visual effects. I don’t have much experience with this type of game, but the brief tutorial and card descriptions helped a lot. I also feel like I’d prefer to drag and drop cards without a confirmation (by just releasing the mouse button). I actually thought it was a bug at first.. Besides that, it’s a really engaging and interesting experience!

Wow, this is such a polished and complete game! The gameplay is fun, the assets are used well, and the mechanics are engaging and smooth. It’s a beautiful, immersive experience. I love the management aspect - switching between two resources (rum and treasure), and between the two surfaces to collect them. I’m also glad there is a helpful tutorial that makes it easy to get started. I enjoyed playing it a lot. Well done!

The game is really nice! I love the overall atmosphere - the music, art, and characters create a perfect detective feel. I especially loved the typing sound! The theme is integrated nicely - the timer adds a sense of urgency, and the mini-games are fun and serve their role perfectly by distracting you from the work.

I have just a couple of small suggestions. Sometimes I couldn’t tell the difference between “a” and “o”, even in fullscreen. Also, I think adding a visual indicator in the reports (like a tab) would help differentiate between a new line and a simple space.

Another note: I found it a bit frustrating when new customers and mini-games appeared at the same time. I knew the mini-game and typing would be locked once the dialogue started, so I felt pressured to finish the mini-game faster. I understand that the locking mechanic does its job of making the clients’ interruption frustrating, but I thought it would be nice if clients and mini-games didn’t appear simultaneously.. That’s just my opinion based on my experience.

Fantastic job overall - I enjoyed playing it a lot!

OMG self-care costing 32 hours D: That’s life I guess (ok I just stacked a few doubling the cost cards in my deck ahah)

The game is really addictive and has great replayability. The gameplay is smooth and satisfying, and the music and art create a perfect vibe. I love how detailed every card is, including little text appearing when the card is played.

Also amazing job on the theme integration! I remember Dr. K talking about life being a deck-building game, and that’s exactly what I imagined :D

The game feels polished and pleasant to play. I just love it; guess I’ll spend some time playing it and stacking addiction cards in my own life’s deck…

Thank you for the feedback! Oh, it’s a really nice point of view about a good sign :D More levels and an online leaderboard are great ideas for future updates.

Wow, 17177 is a great score! Thanks for playing, I’m really honored to be your fav game so far (yay, fellow musician)!

Ohh I see your point about the arrows. I wanted to diversify the note mapping to maintain interest and attention, and to avoid repetition. So, the notes sometimes represent one instrument and it’s rhythm, then switch to another instrument and so on. However, I see now that this approach can lessen the satisfaction, especially in the final repeating section where hitting the notes of the main melody would feel more intuitive and rewarding (rather than chord notes). Your feedback on this is incredibly helpful, thank you!

Thank you for the feedback and for playing! I agree about adding more visual distinction to the judgements. I’ll experiment with adjusting the colors - thanks for the idea! I’m also thinking of adding little star particles that appear around “great” to make perfect note hits feel more rewarding.

Aww thank you for your kind words! It means a lot to me! <3

Ohhh great catch on hit sound delay! I had a feeling something was a bit off, but couldn’t figure it out. After reading your comment, I checked the project again and noticed that the sound effect file itself has a 0.02s silence at the very beginning. I think that’s the case! I’ll cut it a little bit to start without offset. Omg thank you :D

And thanks for playing! I’m truly honored that you consider it one of the best entries.

Thank you so much! It was my main focus to create the vibe that gets you into that flow state, so I’m happy to hear it worked for you!

Ohh, I see! I actually had a feeling that Morgan might be some meta level character guiding you on that path, but my mind likes to jump to the worst conclusions lol. It was still so tearful to part ways with him, haha. Thanks for the answer!

P.S. that spoiler text thing was hard to get right; I spent some time googling, deleting, and rewriting my comment :D

I got the true ending and tears in my eyes… The story is so beautiful and wow, the meta level of the theme integration - a game about making a game for a game jam! Morgan feels so alive with all the animations and dialogues.

spoiler text (click to reveal) (I hope he’s still.. well.. alive…..)

Great work on the art and music; it adds so much to the atmosphere. I also thought I was too lazy to read visual novels, but here I enjoyed reading it - the lines were so smooth and easy to digest. Great job! I enjoyed playing the game a lot.

Ohh this is my favourite game from the jam! I enjoyed playing it a lot. Everything feels perfectly done.

First of all, the art, music, sound effects, and writing are all fantastic - your team created an absolutely perfect vibe.

I love how you gather small pieces of the story throughout the mini games and gradually stitch them together into a beautiful, complete picture. The diary at the end of each day felt like a precious reward for the hard work done.

The integration with the theme is brilliant. I love the main message about taking small steps day by day to gradually build a better life.

The mini games are sooo satisfying! I especially loved folding clothes and vacuuming.

Oh and one small detail that I liked: the music slowing down when you doomscroll. Such a cool idea, it really feels like time itself warps when you get sucked into that activity, haha

Awesome game, great work done!

Thank you for the feedback! I'm happy you enjoyed the music, animations and all the little details! Absolutely agree about adding story and more levels. Initially I wanted to add a story and different levels but decided to cut that because of the deadline. Maybe one day I'll come back to this project and update it. Thanks for playing!

I finished the main project and managed to push a rock up a mountain for a while! Cute art (with skill icons that are quite describable). Theme is integrated nicely. I like the idea of random events that affect your state - that makes you adapt the strategy.

To be honest, I didn't read all the tutorials in the "?" tab initially and was somewhat confused. After clicking and hovering for a while, I figured controls out. Maybe it's just my experience but I find "gather reference" ability quite strong :D

Nice game, good job!

Yay, I completed the main story! It has such a nice, weird vibe that is perfectly captured by the art style and sounds. I especially liked how the sounds changed from basic to legendary fish - it really gives you the feeling that you've caught something stranger and more valuable.

Oh and I also liked the inventory management; it suited the game well.

I found the fishing mechanic felt a bit repetitive after a while. However, I still wanted to stay in this world because of the story and the desire to catch new fish (their descriptions added so much to the whole atmosphere).

Nice game! I really liked playing it and enjoyed the vibes!

Oh, thank you for your kind words! I initially had a bigger project in my head, but after realizing the level of my current skills it became much smaller and simpler. I'm happy I managed to finish it anyway :D

Ahah,  secret "flow state" magic as it is :D Thank you for playing!

Thank you for such detailed feedback!

It means a lot to me that note mapping felt good, I spent some decent time with it :D Glad you enjoyed the tempo speedup mechanic too.

And wow, awesome score, good job on keeping that combo! Thanks for playing!

Yay, music flow gang! Thanks for playing!

Thank you for the feedback! Glad the controls felt right. Really happy you liked the art and music as well.

Thank you for the feedback! I'm really glad the note timing went well.

Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed playing it!

Still good job! :D Thank you for playing, I'm glad the time dilation mechanic went well in the game.

Yep, I think the cause of the mismatch is likely a Bluetooth delay.. Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you for your kind words! I'm happy that the music conveyed the story, it means a lot to me! <3 And thanks for playing!

Finished it! Really interesting fusion of shooting and puzzle mechanics. I also liked the voiced dialogues - they were fun.

I think some sort of punishment to avoid spam-shooting robots would be nice though (like HP or score, which is decreased when shooting the wrong color). Besides that, it's a nicely done game!

Great game with unique mechanics! It feels very polished, with nice art, music and sounds that fit well together. The controls are smooth and the interactions are satisfying. The jam theme is integrated nicely.

I didn't understand the mechanics initially, but figured them out after playing around for a bit.

I played with my husband, and it was really fun to steal his letters and run away. And to stack blocks in his input line >:D After that I played solo.. It wasn't as extreme but was meditative instead.

Really enjoyed playing the game!

Nice! :D Glad you liked it, and thank you!

Wow, awesome score!

I had the exact same thought about the scoreboard when I played your game! (I have a queue for ratings, so I haven't rated and written a review yet). After seeing the scores I thought - "that's nice, I should have added an online scoreboard like this in my own game"

Thanks for playing, and I'm glad you liked it!

Nice score! I'm glad the theme came through well and that you liked the flow meter. Thanks for playing!
