Wow! I am actually addicted to this. Really creative card game design with mechanics that perfectly fit the current theme, leaving a subtle and sweet message behind. It has great replayability potential, which I have not seen in any other game I have tried. The strategic aspect of the game is very intriguing to explore, and I feel motivated to explore it. I can't help but wonder, which project type should I complete at what part of the game? Which card should I pick from every project in what order or priority? How do I create a deck that offers me a balanced hand most of the time? I wish I could offer some feedback other than compliments, but I personally only enjoyed the game.

Really loved the concept with the computer setting, the way the story unfolded through the gameplay was super engaging, and the gameplay itself was a lot of fun! The music choices were on point, especially appreciated the bosses getting themes that really got me hyped for each fight. Huge props for how the final boss was handled too, super clever and memorable.
If I had one bit of feedback, it’d be the screen size. It felt a bit too zoomed in at times. A more zoomed-out view would’ve helped me get a better sense of the map and what was coming up.
Overall, one of the most fun games I have tried so far this jam, good length and pacing, great job to everyone involved!
A simple idea that's executed really well, which I can't help but be impressed. The SFX, music and art really give life to your journey, a great body for a game that has lots of room for growth. For example, I personally would request a mechanic to force these greedy, gluttonous and lazy crewmates to walk the plank!
Pretty solid experience with what's been included so far. I really enjoyed the unique character art and design - it works especially well alongside the map's layout. The tower defence element was a personal highlight for me, specifically the idea of adding walls to the area to manipulate the AI. I did encounter a bug that has already been mentioned in the subhub, where I was unable to get to the middle. After reloading the game to try the infestation, I'm now looking forward to seeing how the game evolves after the jam!
That was really fun, and I can see it has great potential. I am sure you plan to, but if not, you should really expand on this game and build on its time rewind mechanic. Other than a small bug where you can't move on respawn, my only issue was the game's length. I would have really liked to play more of this!
A very well-made and complete experience with a cool wizardry theme. The music, UI, card design, and gameplay were all done really well, and the music was subtle and very fitting of the atmosphere.
My favourite part is definitely the art of the game, simply perfect.
The only issue I encountered was the game's difficulty being far too easy for a strategy game, though maybe I just got a lucky run.
Outside of that, a pretty fun short card battle experience!
Thank you for your feedback, glad you enjoyed our game and its writing! Seems like we may have made it more challenging than intended. After replaying our own game multiple times, we have forgotten how easy it may be for us versus how difficult it can be for others!
The third game's bug happens only during full screen, so for now, it is advised to play the game while it's windowed, at least for stage 3.
Really cool game!
What I enjoyed:
- Art and animations were beautiful and fitting throughout the game
- Music fitted the vibe really well and, with some adjustments to the settings, perfectly complemented the overall theme and aesthetic
- Gameplay was varied and engaging, and was overall well executed and polished
- The stories of what you were writing were often interesting and a little humorous
What I think can be improved:
- The tower game was the only mechanic that felt like it did not work, or I just did not understand how to complete it. Sometimes, it would randomly work
- Some parts of the writing did feel less interesting and repetitive to write up (Mainly the first page detailing the license, Case number, etc.), though, as it gives it structure, I understand it might be necessary, so this is more of my opinion.
Overall, the game is really well executed, and I enjoyed many aspects of it, my favourite game so far!
Enjoyed how minigames were varied, complete, and the overall art style felt pretty creative. I played for a few days and realised that I was not sure what I was doing when it came to balancing sanity, health and money. Days would end, and I would not lose any of them. Money would be in the negatives; working did not increase it, but that had no consequences.
I liked the art and overall vibe for this game; however, it felt incomplete, or if it was, the instructions on gameplay and mechanics were not made clear. Other than that, I was not sure how I could restart when I lost so I reloaded the page to try and figure out the gameplay. Unfortunately, I could not understand my task.
