Hey Crazy_wackamole!

I just wanted to let you know that now that the jam's voting period is over, I've published a final update with bug fixes, including the one you reported, as promised.

Thanks again for your feedback!

Hey koolit13!

Thanks so much for trying out the game, really happy you liked it! Yes, I 100% agree there definitely could and should be more to do - I did have a mechanic about manipulating focus and stress by drinking coffee / resting which would affect the progress on the projects, but it just didn't feel balanced enough and I was out of time, so I had to leave it out sadly.

Sorry you too ran into that bug, I'll definitely fix it as soon as I'm able to. That said, thanks a lot for the feedback and the kind words, it means a lot!

Hey thomasaur!

Thanks a lot for playing my game and for the kind words, it does mean a lot! That's exactly what I was going for, so I'm glad it came through!

Hey there! Really enjoyed the whole experience, from the vibe created by the pixel art and sfx to the cool puzzle mechanics - especially that last level! I wasn't able to read what was on that white last screen, just after the game ended, as it immediately disappeared, sadly. Anyway, it was a lot of fun, great job!

Hey! Very cool art and music, and I found the theme integration really interesting! I must say I did find it quite challenging to get into, but to be fair that's also to be expected with this kind of gameplay depth. That said, really loved to see a highly strategic game!

Hey there, loved playing this! I generally like typing so the gameplay, with the very good looking visuals, nice music and satisfying sfx, made it a really fun experience! I'm also a big fan of diegetic elements in games, so it was very cool to see that here.

Hey TheHandsOnGuy!

I really appreciate you playing my game! Thanks a lot for the kind words, I'm glad you liked those aspects!

Ah, really sorry you've encountered that bug - it's a known issue unfortunately :( That said, thank you so much for the feedback, and if you ever wanted to give it another try, here's a short video showing how to restart the game (or you can also try using a private/incognito window)

Hey! I really liked the theme adaptation and the setting - the whole idea/lore was just extremely cool! Also enjoyed the music and visuals, with the controls feeling nice and responsive. I second what others have said here in the comments about running feeling like it would benefit from being the default "movement mode" - I specifically found that right-clicking to melee attack while running would bring up the windows "context menu" where just right-clicking wouldn't.

I liked the difficulty being on the more approachable side of the spectrum - it just makes you feel good haha.

SPOILER ALERT I also wasn't too sure if I did what I was supposed to at the very end when the game ended after clicking the bin.

That said, it was really fun, great job!

Hey there! First of all, I love that cover art! That said, really enjoyed the atmospheric vibe of the game - amazing visuals, immersive sounds and nice background music just tied it all up together really well. So, congrats, especially since you mentioned on your page this is your first game!

The fishing mechanic got a good laugh out of me cause of how comically hard I struggled with it haha

Also, I thought I had run into a bug until I read some of the other comments here saying how that's actually the end of the story, so it might be worth considering mentioning that on the game page temporarily.

Anyway, once again, I had a fun time reading through your story, so, well done!

Hey DoomShroomz!

Thanks so much for giving my game a try, it means a lot! Sorry you ran into that bug, that's a known issue unfortunately :(

Anyway thanks a lot for the feedback, and if you ever wanted to try again, here are the steps to start a new session (you could also try with a private/incognito window instead)

Hey PizzaDash!

Thank you so much for playing, really glad you liked those parts! Yeah, that is definitely not intended - game dev is for sure not that easy haha! But thanks a lot for the feedback, it means a lot!

Hey slrp!

Thanks a lot for trying out my game! Yeah, I definitely wanted to go for that sim/management genre as it fits my web dev background much better. Thank you for the kind words and I can't even tell you how happy that last sentence made me - it really means a lot! And great expansion ideas, I'll for sure keep those in mind!

Hey kuroowakanda!

Really appreciate you playing my game! It's my first published project and first game jam I've participated in, so seeing people actually play my game and leave feedback is kind of crazy - thank you for the kind words, it means the world!

Also, thanks for the bug report and sorry there wasn't a way to restart the game. I'll definitely implement that feature - in the meantime, I've put together a short screen recording showing how you can restart the game in case you wanted to give it another try. Let me know if there are any issues, and thanks again for playing

Hey writstitch!

Thank you so much for playing the game! Really happy you enjoyed it - your comment made my day! This was my first published game and game jam, so not only does it feel surreal, but it also means a lot!

Also, can definitely relate on the overcomplicating things haha - don't we all?

Hey Crazy_wackamole!

First off, thank you so much for playing my game! It's both my first published project and game jam submission, so that means a lot!

Really sorry you encountered that bug, and thank you for letting me know! I will definitely look into it and fix it as soon as possible. Just a heads up that I won't be able to make any updates/bug fixes on the game until the jam's voting period is over, so unfortunately it might take a while.

Thanks again for checking out my game!
