Thank you for the review! The computer screen is definitely a bit too low- and the tower only works when I build it on the left side. We'll note that down-

Neat art and music. I couldn't quite get the gameplay down... (bullet hell is real). Second the comments with the stairs being unclear.

The movement was smooth, and I couldn't find any bugs. It's funny how he just goes soaring in the air after a cup of coffee... reminded me of mario.

Thank you :D Your game was very nice too!

Thank you for playing :) I feel the same way about the font size. I'll note that down for future updates!

Good art and vibes! The unique art style is definitely the highlight.

Controls were kinda jank and it was ultimately too difficult for me. My small brain also stare at the gate for a good minute before realizing there were switches. Oh well, back to Silksong to git gud ig

Hahaha I saw the dating app thing and never clicked on it again...

Cool game, but i keep getting the bad ending aaaa... I tried but just studying/coding and putting in bits of meditation, but it's not working... I guess you're supposed to go all in on one choice?

My name is Morgan.

I'm about to be evicted, but life was manageable. I spend my days drinking water, eating snacks, brushing my teeth, and applying to jobs. A bit bland, but okay.

That is, until one day, I accidentally touched my phone while trying to sleep. All came crashing down. My sanity was lost. Nothing mattered anymore. I can play my favorite games for days on end and drink all the water I want. Meditation wasn't appealing anymore. I can't even bear to look at my yoga mat.

Lesson of the story: do not. I repeat. DO NOT DOOM SCROLL. IT WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE.

Good art and ambience. I second that it's too easy for a strategy game... and the opponent seems to run out of cards, so at some point I face a empty field. I also wish there was a way to take back cards placed on your turn (undo?).

It's interesting how you managed to simulate the thing so... realistically. The UI is very clean, and the writing seems thoughtful. The crisis won't go away tho, and I'm unsure how to restart the game :c

Hmm, seems like a unique idea, but I wasn't able to spawn a cat...

Cool visuals! Cozy, simple little game.

Some bugs: you can jump while seated. Mouse issue as well...

Well executed 3d game. I didn't encounter any bugs. The cipher portion was pretty cool, and the story telling seemed to flow pretty well. It was kinda hard to get that you're supposed to scan the objects and exit out the press the button at first...

A neat, very personal little story. I really liked your writing :D

Very fun! A good mix of relaxation and difficulty. I made it to Day 40 on my first try, but I'll be going back again! It also ties into the theme very nicely. I wish we got a little backstory on the MC. Also, the categories of cards were a little unclear (I thought wisdom was blue for the longest time...) so I wished there was a little popup to re-visit the info in the tutorial. Also, friendship card is a scam >:c I thought it'd reduce the cost of all copies.... little did I know...

Overall pretty much a 5/5 for me! Smooth gameplay, good art, adheres to theme, and fun! Now, to go back to beat Day 50...

Edit: Yay I beat :D (I do wonder what more resolution cards there are... there should be an endless mode hmm)

Liked the (very personal) story. how the HG bean emoted on us... and the creative boss fights! The realistic items in a 2D world reminded me of madoka magica... interesting boss patterns!

I feel like first stage had a soft lock. A letter was on the upper level, but I couldn't find a way to get up... I stayed near the top in my retry to avoid that.

We still didn't get a girlfriend :c

I would just put an expandable (?) button or something with the infodum. Make it exist first then make it pretty -w-

After a look around, definitely up there in terms of originality >:0

pspsps the top scorers are filthy normal mode players >:c

Thank you :)

Hahaha, one of our players was playing it casually on normal, and they muted the music and played their own casual stuff. We tried to optimize the balance between how much you get to type and how annoying the popups are... but well, they are still meant to be annoying, I guess XD

Working on a "peaceful" mode of the game where it's just pure typing Dr. K transcripts for private use (or public? :d)

Definitely gonna change the font. I had the same thought... note that down note that down.

One of the disturbances was going to be a cat walking across the table, but I got distracted by silksong and didn't animate it :c

Hmm... unsure how to fix the newline vs. space... I'll need to think about that.

Thank you so much for the feedback!!

It was pretty clear, though perhaps the range could stay visible even when stress is overflowed...? Now I'm curious about the ending -w-

Noted... I suppose it's more of a game for my own needs, so it would be free all the way -w- I should ask them about the transcript stuff tho...!

I loved it!! It's impressive how you guys managed to fit so many minigames into one game (2d and 3d...) I didn't encounter any bugs. (did fail a lot of times, but it was easy to get back with prior knowledge). I did  try to pick up all the leaves by hand the first time :) The writing was thoughtful... and Alex aaaaa

I loved how the ending sequence was played out with the excitement bar. Glad they stayed friends through the years ;w;

A bug: The files in the third game doesn't match up with the mouse

Thank you for the feedback and compliments!! Our composer is stoked that you liked the music :D

I do think that the tower game should be banished as well >:( There's a way to make it work if you scroll to the comments! I also feel the same way about the first part of the writing... noted to take notes during brainstorming...

Being your favorite game is a huge compliment! Thank you so much!

It's impressive that you managed to do all of this by yourself. Your dev log was neat :0 We didn't think of doing one (I think). I can see the effort you put into planning... and the math equations. Wow.

Gameplay: I enjoyed the combat format! Anything that combines rhythm with combat is a plus in my book. I didn't find any bugs, and the gameplay was pretty smooth. I would suggest to have a "tutorial" button for the controls. My brain couldn't understand how the system worked the first time -m-

Music: Very boppy. Impressive that you made this.

Nicely made! Smooth gameplay and nice, simple graphics. It did take me a bit to understand how to get into the flow state. Finished the second frog boss, but that's about it... I have to say that the gameplay feels way too slow paced and grindy for me. The interludes were nice rewards (yay got a date). Dashes are OP.

Thank you for the thoughtful comment! I knew tower was rigged :c it doesn't work for me when I try to stack it nicely in the middle. A friend of a member sent a video of him haphazardly doing it, and it works... here is his method:

Helllooo-

Now that submissions are finally up, I wanted to ask for suggestions on future versions for our game! I wanted to make a fun game first and foremost and will be continuing to work on it independently (with some of the team :D)

A mode for our game I'm thinking of is a "you are Dr. K" version where it's peaceful (no distractions/timer) and the report is switched to Dr. K's transcripts! I find it hard to absorb the information from his lectures sometimes, so it'll be a tactile way to learn the concepts...

Thank you for reading, and have a nice day!

(p.s. we have cats)

Thank you!
