The game crashed, does that mean I won?

Cute game, pretty polished. Lacks a bit of a audio ambiance, but I guess that's what clickers are made of?

I liked it well done :)

So I'm not much of a clicker player typically, but I had to give it a shot, and I got the hang of it eventually! The 90 turns/45 minute gameplay session felt intimidating at first, but it started to feel quicker as I got more invested. The “How to Play” menu at the beginning was especially great for a player like me lol, good job!

My fingers started hurting, I don't think I'm built for idle clicking sadly. I think a little bit of balancing to really get the leaves flywheel rolling could help out a lot. I really liked the 3D meets 2D art style and I think the game feels very stylish. Good job!

That was fun! I also have a weak spot for clickers, though I also agree it runs pretty long. I restarted a few times when upgrades didn't do what I thought they would, but then played until the world economy would have collapsed. I also made my first 1k by buying bags at a profit. I think reading the instructions left me more confused by the controls, too, as I thought I actually had to shake my mouse over the tree. Overall though, it gives the satisfaction of a clicker by giving players the ability to break the economy.

Good work to the team! Hope to see more :-)

It took a couple minutes to realize this was an idle clicker. Kept click dragging the rake cursor on the leaves to no avail.

I liked the tone of the writing. Nice sound ambiance. Game is fun.

Love the graphics and autumn vibes. The game was too lengthy for my taste.

I like the on theme idea and its a clicker with good depth. I think the length is a bit much for a game jam as would have liked to get to the upgrades quicker to get the full experience. Think the low poly / 3d fixed view is great artistically.

Nice idea and take on the clicker genre. Really like the theme and the sort of pseudo 3D style!

For me personally, I think I’d like some of the more engine building/automation mechanics to come in a little earlier or at least for some of the initial manual upgrades to be obtainable a bit sooner.

Other than that, an enjoyable little game. Nice work!

I've made the mistake of buying bigger bags, which seem to do nothing but make it worse, and the cursor obscures the description box. Really fun game though, does pretty much what it's supposed to and you know what you're getting into with this.

After playing it some more, the base upgrades don't seem to cost what they say they do, and both increasing income, making money go really fast. Cheaper bags makes cost go negative, making it so buying gives money. The neighborhood kids didn't show up, maybe I bought it too early.

That's just the web version, haven't checked the download.

Hey, great minds think alike :)

I really like the 3D aesthetic and appreciate all the thought and humor behind each upgrade's description!

Some of the upgrades don't do what they say they do and the numbers get a bit twisted, but overall it was fun. I would personally aim for a session length closer to 5-15 min, I only lasted as long as I did because I have a weak spot for clickers. It fit the theme pretty well!

Thank you so much, yeah, I agree. I think shortening it a 5-15 minute experience would be beneficial.

I see that you also found the leaf bag upgrade exploit. We caught it unfortunately late in development (late stage changes in the back-end to get it off C# for web export support), after the Jam rating period is over, I will probably go back and fix it.

I am glad you enjoyed it enough to get to Day 46.
