Thanks so much for playing! Was really interesting watching you play through it and really highlights areas for improvement in the tutorials and other bits of gameplay!

That massive chain was fantastic to watch :D

Great point about the colour blindness accessibility - I will give my palette a run through a contrast checker for any future updates I make!

Really super solid! Gameplay felt really tight and the art, music and SFX all worked really well together.

Like others have mentioned, I got a little frustrated with the aim angle limitation and I ended up just keeping the gun at a single angle and moving back and forth to hit things.

I thought the tutorial was fantastic though - really nice to have it built into the game and paced really well!

Awesome job!

Thank you very much! I put quite a lot of time into the vibe and I’m glad so many people are enjoying it :)

You’re right! Each “run” is a new perlin noise map that the tiles are generated from!

Thank you so much! I’m so glad you had a nice time with it :)

That’s great feedback, thank you! I definitely want to introduce hover highlighting so you know which tree you’re interacting with.

I hadn’t considered the drag interaction but it’s a great idea! Will have a play around with that for the endless mode, I think that’d be very fun!

Yeah I think I went a little overboard with the easing and kind of slapped it everywhere XD Still haven’t landed on my preferred zoom solution so it’s great to get some feedback on it so I can do some more iteration!

Really nice farming loop! Everything felt really tight and it felt really satisfying watching the crops pop up - I found myself drawing little patterns for them to grow in :)

Like others have mentioned, only thing I had trouble with was the camera movement which was a little strong

Awesome entry!

Thank you! :) So glad you enjoyed it!

Crunch Simulator 2025

Love the theme and the little industry jokes of pizza parties and AI induced tech debt XD The art style is also fantastic!

Was stressful as all hell trying to balance everything out, so a 10/10 representation of real world dev crunching

Very glad you enjoyed it! :D

Trackpad input is definitely on my list of things to work on in the future! Haven’t seen that issue with the freezing leaf before - if you can remember anything about what you were doing at the time or would be happy to share what browser you’re using that’d be super helpful for future debugging!

Thank you so much! :)

Thank you so much :) So glad you enjoyed the vibe!

Really great job to put together a point and click puzzle with a decent amount of content in short time! Absolutely love the art , animation and the little speech bubble - gives it tons of character!

Lovely stuff!

Love the art and the concept is really cool! Had a good time making the little Zibs go about their business!

I found having to click each Zib and move them to a space a little cumbersome especially with the angle the camera was at where things got obscured very easily.

Overall I had a lot of fun, tons of potential here!

Such a lovely little chilled experience! Would have been cool to see the shop but honestly, I personally don’t feel like I need it! Only extra feature I though might have been cool is to be able to place your bonsais around the room when you’re done with them.

Had a great time with this! Always cool to see an interesting procedural generation implementation - nicely done!

Thanks for the kind words :) Really glad you enjoyed the music!

So the pine thing is not intentional, the pines came in later and I intended them as a kind of blocker that can’t be turned so have to be worked around. In my haste, I forgot to add them to the check when a mushroom is placed as the other trees are!

That’s going in the bug log!

Definitely two routes for the future of this: a puzzle game where you have to try to turn an area of trees in a given number of turns and a chill mode where you can just go nuts!

Very glad you had a relaxing time with the latter idea! :D

Excellent art and animations - grabbed me immediately! It’s a shame there isn’t more gameplay as it’s a cool idea. Would love to come back to this if you get chance to develop it further!

Thank you! :) Really glad you enjoyed the atmosphere and managed to figure out how things were working!

Definitely need to do some refining on the guidance and perhaps a more gradual and deliberate intro to the controls.

Thanks for playing! I’m really glad you enjoyed the vibe :)

Would be curious to hear your thoughts on the gameplay - there’s definitely room for it to improve!

What would make it more satisfying for you? I’ve got the following ideas for improvements, but would love to hear if you had any other thoughts while playing

  • More focused puzzles: confined areas to fill that gradually introduce mechanics
  • Clearer progression and goal indication
  • More sound and visual feedback when hitting big chains

Here’s my setup:

  • Arc Browser (so Chromium under the hood)
  • Hardware acceleration enabled
  • MacBook Air M1 2020 running Sequoia 15.7, 16GB RAM
  • My monitor is 3440x1440 but I wasn’t running running it at fullscreen - the game window was roughly 1400x1400

How are you doing the swaying effects of the grass and the trees? That seems to be the bit that could be fairly expensive depending on the implementation

Let me know if you need any more info - happy to supply if I can!

Hell yeah Fat Bear Week! Such a novel little idea, really cool to see the procedural animation worked in too!

I liked the challenge of getting as fat as possible before winter, but I can’t help but want to take my time to explore the landscape and play with the movement a little more gently - but that’s hardly a criticism on what you’ve created, more of a personal thing.

Really nicely done!

Interesting idea! I like the combo of the clicker and tactical tile capturing concepts!

Like the others who’ve commented, I struggled with the number of options and with navigating the UI but it’s really cool to see a lot of depth created in only 3 days! With a bit of polishing, I think this would be super fun!

I love the art and it’s great catching a glimpse of the squirrels running around doing their thing! I did find it quite difficult to know what was going on and what to do next. I think with a little extra guidance and a touch more sound and music it could be a super cute little colony sim

Great start to a city builder - got a bunch of core “backend” things down.

With a little guidance and prettying it could really be something I’d spend some time with as I love that kind of “make thing to get resources to build more things to get more resources” loop

Really interesting concept although I hard a hard time understanding what was happening at times and struggled to know how to (or if I could even) influence the tier system at all.

Has tons of potential though - with a few tweaks I can see it being a really satisfying “make big number even bigger” type game

Really interesting concept! I like the kind of auto-clicked-meets-management-sim vibe. Also loved the theme and would love to see more of Al Pigeone

Struggled a little with performance - not sure what was causing it but it was running at maybe 10fps!

Overall I had a great time with this and could easily see the concept growing into something amazing! Really well done!

That’s such an awesome concept! I’d love to see more of this if you get round to expanding it - that’s right up my alley of interest :D

So glad you enjoyed it - cosy and satisfying was exactly what I was going for! Thanks so much for your kind words :)

This jam is teaching me that cute little guys really are peak game design :D

Really liked the tetris/connect 4 combo thought it worked really well! I did manage to find a “cheat” by isolating the first corrupted guy and then didn’t have to worry about the corruption for the rest of the run

Other than the lack of a “go down to the bottom now please” button I thought this was really solid and a great experience. Nice one!

Thank you! I spend a decent amount of time trying to make it feel impactful when you got a good run - glad it felt satisfying to do :)

Those kobolds are adorable! Loved the art and the audio, really nice vibe. Really nice idea, I’m a real sucker for a management style game.

As other have mentioned the difficulty curve is wild and I found myself struggling quite quickly especially with the equipment.

There’s absolutely masses of potential here and I really love the idea :)

Support for trackpads is definitely something I need to consider more in the future - completely slipped my mind this time round. Sorry that it wasn’t as good of an experience as it could have been

Got lots of feedback to take away around the controls which is great - next time hopefully I can make something that works for a wider set of input methods!

Thank you! :) Glad you managed to get your head round it and found the endless mode!

Love the idea of viewing how far you’ve come before you reset, that’s going in the pile of potentials for the future for sure!

(1 edit)

Well damn, this was fantastic! To make such a tight feeling rhythm game in such a short time is really impressive! Loved the art and visuals and the music was absolutely perfect for the theme and also for the style of game.

I thought it came out of the gates pretty hard and hit me with a bunch of tough combos before I’d had a chance to get my head in the game - but that only made me want to back and play it more! (see cartmouse, cartmouse2 and cartmouse3 on the leaderboard XD)

Just awesome - I had an absolute blast with this!

Thank you so much :’) I’m so glad you enjoyed all the noises! I was a musician and audio tech person before I got into programming so sound is really close to my heart

This is probably the first track I’ve written that’s actually made it out of a DAW and into the world too so I’m super pleased that it’s gone down well :)

Really cute! Art and animations really brought the vibe! I enjoyed the combat - felt really satisfying to nail a shot while moving and at a long distance!

I did encounter a couple of bugs, one which locked me walking after I took damage which was an odd one

Overall a fun experience - nicely done!

Thank you for your kind words :) Very glad you managed to get the hang of it! Improved tutorials are absolutely on my list of improvements!

Thank you! :) Glad you enjoyed the mushrooms!

The art here is absolutely wonderful! It took me a bit to get used to the controls, but once I got the timing down it felt really satisfying

So engaging! Played this for absolutely ages in the endless mode with my cheesy near-infinite glass canon damage machine. Love the art, love the sound design and such an awesome concept! Fantastic work!
