Really hard. I will play more when I get free time. I could only reach the silver key. I thought I was really doing great jumping "over" the enemies but those finals pixels get me most of the time and yeah hp drained hehe. I would change the way to reset the game. I had to reach the mouse click. Good job

It's Montezuma's Revenge right? Used to love that game way back when!

This is a pretty good clone for 2 weeks - just very hard! The number of times I fell to my death from walking past the top end of a ladder was too damn high...

Developer

Nice! It is indeed the top three levels (more ore less) from Montezuma's Revenge :) Thanks for trying it!

That little guy is so frail :D Nice game, I especially liked having a full HP bar only for it to get DRAINED by even the slightest of falls - really kept me on edge.

Camera is tight, so you feel more immersed wandering around, but on the other hand, because it is also "glued" to character it feels a bit too much when jumping and jumps are fast :D Also, I really tried to avoid the enemies, by jumping over them and I rarely succeeded, at least there is some health bar and potions! I like the atmosphere and getting a bit lost in search for keys and gates ;)

Developer

Thanks for playing and for your feedback, Pawel; I'll look into relaxing the camera movement after the jam, as well as the physics settings for jumps - a flatter but longer jump curve would help in these tight corridors.

Just the way Montezuma had it ;)

Nice game.
Several times I've tried to jump on top of enemies in Mario style, died every time ๐Ÿ˜…

Developer

Thanks! Well, in this one contact with enemies kills, and falling too far is deadly too - just like in the original thing ๐Ÿ˜Ž.

oooooooh I used red key on right red door first but there is not second red key on right side to open left red door. So I had to replay to use red key on left door first :(

Developer

Just like in the classic this is based on ๐Ÿ˜‰. Thanks for playing!

Well done! I like the combination between collecting keys as in Chip's Challenge and a platformer.

I find platformers like this super addictive! Smooth mechanics make this one really nice to play, nice one.

I like the game feel, it's polished and level design is cool. I especially like the main menu :)

Would love to see the full version of it after the jam!

Thanks, @Asatte, also for your excellent tutorials on YT, especially the one on gui/menu :)
