How does the game fit the theme?
The player must steal cookies from a heavily guarded and secured location. Each heist carries the risk of being caught by patrolling guards, cameras, lasers, and other security systems.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
We used the following external asset packs:
- Sprout Lands Asset Pack & Sprout Lands UI by cupnooble
- Metro Street Assets by jik-a-4
- City Cars (Pickup Car Asset) by ipixl

All gameplay code, level design, and game logic were created from scratch during the jam.

So many interesting ideas in one entry! The gameplay is really well done. The effect of objects fading in near you is pretty cool also and makes exploring the level way more interesting. Good work!

Visually this was a very nice entry.  I liked the cookie throwing mechanic and how it could distract guards or block lasers, but I felt like the feature was slightly underbaked (teehee).  But overall the level design was really good and I enjoyed the stealthy gameplay a lot

Nice music and gameplay. Good implemented logic for the guards and for touching the lasers (as well as the laser itself). I miss sound effects tho. I also did not understand the cookie throwing. But overall really fun! Good job all of you!

A good use of the theme with the timer used well to push the player. To improve maybe use more than one side objective or allow players to take on additional side objectives

Very nice game, the gameplay was fun and surprisingly involved, that last level was a bit too much for me though (not that it was unfun, just a bit long), I think the throwing mechanic should've been explained better, I didn't get it at all. overall a very cute, enjoyable game, good job!

Pleasant game! I really liked the different triggers you'd need to use together to get through the levels. Also surprisingly loved the movement which is something I've rarely said about other games but here it's just done to a tee that makes the exploration so smooth and sweet to go through. Congrats on your game!

The last level was SO DIFFICULT LOL. Is it intended that you have to take all the cookies separately? I tried to take them all together but it only delivered one to the truck so I had to bring one at a time. Anyway, it was worth it, the game was really fun to play, it had very cool mechanics and tricky puzzles! Also graphics and audio are really cute and cozy, I really liked that mood. Great game!

The silly little walking animation made me giggle so much! I like the gameplay quite a bit! Made me feel like the biscuit gremlin I've always wanted to be.

Shoutout to Skidnney — that music is incredible! This is a very charming game, and adding an alert sound when the player is spotted would make it even better. The level design is really well done too. Honestly, I don’t know why this game doesn’t have more recognition. You all did an amazing job — be proud of it! :)

Thanks a lot! 😊 We actually had a few more level ideas in mind but ran out of time during the jam. One was focused on sneaking and hiding behind plants while avoiding guards and cameras - hopefully something we can add later.

Really solid, really cute! Great music! I found it’s all a bit more difficult for my patience levels, but I don’t like stealth games typically. I found level 2 harder than 3, and then timed out on level 4 trying to open all the doors and that kind of bummed me out. While it’s not to my personal taste, I think it’s very well put together, good work!

Thanks a lot for the comment! Its my first time working on a stealth game, and i cant say i played any before, we just thought it fit the theme well. Sorry you found it difficult, its a good feedback to know the timer is annoying. Thanks a ton!

Amazing work! Having a level select is awesome, I played level 2 twice just to stroll around and mess with the guards. Great visuals, great work having guards who come look for you, great work having the masking with the light. Well done for achieving so much!

First off, it is criminal that this game has so few ratings! I landed here from the screenshots page, but you need to go review and post on some other jam submission pages ASAP so you can get some eyes back here.  There's a lot to like and your efforts deserve recognition.

First off, the environment and decorations were really fleshed out.  I was sold on the premise that I was swooping in to nab some cookies and then high-tailing it out of there.  The fog of war effect was also well done.  There were a few inconsistencies on what objects were affected or not, but overall good.  It would have been really nice if the camera and guard vision cones had a similar effect.  I was afraid to get to close to walls or doors whenever the cone was spilling through.

The cookie mechanic was also felt pretty well balanced.  A well-placed cookie could give just enough time to delay a sweeping camera or a vigilant guard from locking you out of the collection zone.  The cooldown also made it so that you really did have to zip by quickly in order to make use of it.

The UI was also working really well.  I felt like I could navigate around and choose the levels without any issue.  It's a shame that the final level win condition wasn't working, but I suppose throwing the cookie in the back of the truck when you have all five is enough proof that you've won.

Good job!  I had fun slinking around for these cookies.
