I was really surprised when I broke a piece of furniture for the first time, I thought it was a great detail. I found the game’s concept super creative and well thought out. I think the weakest part for me would be the melee combat, which felt a bit odd.

I broke everything! Good submission, game just needs some more polishing. Also rooms take a while to cool.
Really fun game! Seemed like quite an original concept and the furniture breaking was a nice touch.
Great concept! As others have said, waiting for the rooms to cool down wasn't particularly engaging. Other than that, this was fun.
The destructible furniture was a nice touch. Good work!
21 broken furniture, it's worthy to have nice and deeply sweet dreams.
I broke my table, all my chairs, and my TV, but at least there aren't any critters in my nice and cold bedroom. Well done, fun concept!
Cool idea. I really enjoyed the fact that you could smash the objects in the house. Some way to speed up cooling down the rooms would have been a bonus... like a single use fan/cooler of some kind and having the player mash E to reduce the room temp until it runs out.
This was a really fun idea. Waiting for the rooms to cool down was not particularly exciting, maybe the bugs could be a lot more intense. The fly swatting breaking your own furniture was genius! Great job!
If you'd like to check out my game i'd really appreciate it :)
I found the idea of killing mosquitoes very interesting and funny, haha. I think it lacked a bit of polish. But otherwise, it was sensational.
I like the concept, although not too relatable because it's winter where I am. Either way it was pretty fun at first but got a bit repetitive later. I would suggest leaning more into the chaotic nature of the game, my thought was removing the timer and instead adding something, maybe a big mosquito or something, that goes around and randomly opens doors and windows. Maybe you could also add in some objects that block you, but can be hit around. And finally I think the combat would be better if the player attack to where the mouse is, it felt too hard to control and actually hit the bugs without being hurt constantly. Either way it was pretty fun, and a neat little concept! Good job!
Loved the concept, I often find myself doing this in real life! I think after the first level, it starts to get a little repetitive, the room layout being the only thing differentiating the levels. But there's a lot of room for interesting additions if you want to add them post jam! How about an air conditioning system that you have to manage, or rooms that can't get too cold or something bad happens, or multiple floors, different types of enemy, more items like bait or repellent for the insects. I quite enjoyed playing, nice entry!
thanks for playing.
when i came up with the idea i was very excited and motivated. but when the first version was playable i realized that there isnt much to do xD as you said. i didnt have enough time to start something else, so i finished that idea, knowing the gameplay loop wasnt great.
thanks for your ideas. i have many on my todo list i couldn't finish for this jam. not sure tho if it would improved the game a lot.
