Loved the concept of finding out what happened through collecting thought bubbles and creating a library of images! But what impressed me even more was when the question was put in front of me it really made me want to go through the pictures and put together what was going on!

Great design and use of colors and great concept!

I thought the graphics were cool as well as the audio design. I think you definitely nailed the feel of games of the old atari consoles. The game play was fine, but I wouldn't say I was thrilled the entire time (more of a taste thing -  imo). Also, I thought what qualifies this game as a mech game was kind of tenuous as you could essentially replace the mech player character with a human - or anything else for that matter, and it wouldn't really affect any of the game play (I suppose you can say that about a lot of entries in  this jam).

WHOA i have a strange feeling about this. a sort of child of E.T of atari 2600 and the music of lavender town XD BUT ITS BETTER NICE JOB

Lovely visuals and a really nice way of telling the story. Uses the Footsteps optional secondary theme effectively.

Nice litlle atmospheric adventure

I like the vibe the game has and it’s a cool concept to run around collecting memory fragments to piece the story back together, and i really like how the memories themselves tell that without any text just cool artworks :)

The memory collection minigame is also pretty well made and i like the idea of the timer being represented by a circle closing in.

In general the presentation and music are really good as well, and i like how the story unveils some darker details as you progress.

My only slight issue is some of the memory minigames are quite hard, i had no idea where to go, how many elements i had to get to collect the memory and the timer was really tight in some of these O_o so i got stuck with i assume were 2 or 3 memories left to collect cause the last one i reached i couldn’t manage to complete the maze, just needs a bit of rebalancing for these segments and maybe have some indicators for how many total memories you have/need and same with the elements nedded to uncover a memory in the minigame parts.

Now other than that it is really a cool experience, and i think you did a good job :)

This is really cool, got all the memories and tried both endings, I think I know which was the right choice... Love the green and yellow colour scheme against the black, makes me think of ZeroRanger, another great mech-adjacent game. I like how the objects start to look more and more creepy looking, though it may have been my imagination. And the mech battle memory scenes were badass.

We completed the game and chose the first ending. We skipped one memory, though. The level with the open space took some time. Maybe it would be a good idea to have a counter for the memories? It might spoil the exploration and surprise a bit, but on the other hand, it helps to see your progress if you are stuck.

The art style is cool. All these art pieces make an intriguing story.

PS: When you have a marked trail you are supposed to follow, you instantly want to ramble around instead :D

The story exploration is a nice idea. The gameboy aesthetic is pretty cool.

A major point of critic: it so repetitive. You walk around to collect stuff, just to walk around collecting more stuff. I was hoping for something more.

Nevertheless good ideas.

The presentation is pretty cool. The effect for the enclosing timer circle is so good for the already low rest retro vibe

Interesting game about memory.  I was vibing with it up until I got to the mask-looking memory-level (w/ the skulls) and I just had to bail.  Giant open space with a timer, was too tedious repeatedly trying to find the memories without some signposting (unless there was something I was missing here).  Neat concept though and I like the sprites and color palette, good use of a minimalist vibe.

Cool retro inspired art and vibe! The visual storytelling via the photos was really great. I got a little lost multiple times so a map or some sort of reference points (unique geography etc.) might help. A little more exposition on where the player is and what exactly they're collecting would be nice as well.

Nice work!
