Well deserved win in the artwork category, I felt like I was walking around a painting. The visdev and soundscape is so absolutely pro, I'm convinced you're a team on industry veterans! Major congrats!
:edit: waiiit THE RobotPencil?! I heard of him back in my LIMITS days, love his work! -Rose
`Was supposed to win. like who does art like that in 4 days!? artists are very imposter syndromy no artist would say thats the art in 3 days! Great work given it was a team of one you are a legend!
Absolutely beautiful. This is the most visually impressing submission I've seen in the jam yet.
This game is so interesting and so gorgeous! The SFX are great too. A really cinematic experience.
Well, I think this is the visual novel of this year's jam! Congratulations, the visuals and sound are absolutely beautiful and relaxing. The way each constellation we draw reveals a bit of the story is really impactful. It kind of reminds me of the Ghost of Tsushima haiku sections, where we reflect on the story events and the player's emotions.
A super polished game! With a few more gameplay elements in the observatory, you will have something truly special in your hands.
A bit hard to understand at times but really impressive visuals and overall scope of game! Huge congrats!
The narrative is one of the best I've seen in this Game Jam. But I found the gameplay itself a bit easy, and I didn't see any reason to wander around the lab. Perhaps another layer of gameplay in this section would make sense, even to further enrich the narrative.
This one the best games in the whole jam. Def a top 10 contender. Amazing job!!
Oh I absolutely loved this! The visuals are what lead me to check out this game in the first place, and damn that it didn't disappoint, and loved how there was always an eye watching on the sky.. I don't have the words to express how much I loved the artwork in this game.
Great job!
Absolutely beautiful visuals - that last drawing at the end?? wow. Sound is hitting as well. My only feedback is it feels a bit tedious to me to walk back to the telescope after drawing each constellation since you don't do anything when you look. Perhaps you could have something to do there, or have the vision book next to the telescope. Congrats on great jam!
Yea we were torn too on what to do here. Our original thought was to have it go straight outside to the constellations because it would be satisfying to see the fruits of your labor. But We were concerned that would make it too "gamey" and not as immersive. An alternative solution we have but couldn't do, is just have more interactive things to do in the observatory before you look out! Showing that things mechanically change within the observatory to allow you to see an immersive way how your success pans out! But ya not enough time to do it all! But it's a great piece of feedback and one we were critical of internally as well!
The art in this one is absolutely beautiful - soft, evocative, and mystical in just the right way.
Mechanically, I wasn’t always sure why certain stars could connect and others couldn’t - maybe I missed something, or maybe that ambiguity was intentional. Either way, it kind of worked thematically: the idea of groping through the unknown, guided more by instinct than logic, felt fitting for a ritual.
The writing is mysterious and poetic, and the audio design really enhances the atmosphere. Overall, a very dreamy and immersive experience.
5 stars across the board. No notes. Appreciate this isn't everyone's cup of team, but this is my very favourite kind of game. Enthralling world-building, elegant interaction, gorgeous art and spellbinding sound design. Hats off to the team.
I love the artwork: shades and palette, animation. Its really beautiful, especially the main scene in the ritual room
Very beautifully looking and sounding game, but gameplay is abscent sandly and it was a bit tedious cliking back and forth between telescopes 18 times.
One of the best entries i've played, if it's not the best ! The art and audio are stunning, i loved the naration, and the gameplay is simple but fun and effective x)
I loved the sfx and the voices, it adds soooo much to the game !!!!!
The only one thing i have to say is that the audio happenings overflow a bit, maybe because of the musical tonality of a few, or the notes played, but maybe i'm totally wrong !
But it's really impressive that you made this in only four days, congrats x)
This game has to win. Where is no other way. The visuals, the world-building, the atmosphere. Everything in this game made me chiver and tremble. I will remember your game, everything in it is a lesson. Wtf did i just play, and how this was made in 4 days. i'm shocked !
(Also, your typography is custom made or its an existent one ? If so, can i know its name, the typo is so gorgeous TwT)
WOW! I mean that'd be so great! But we are also aware there are just other games that are clearly amazing! And we are by no means expecting any recognition outside of the people who have been playing our game! And all this has done, has sparked our identity of the types of games we want to begin making! Including finishing this one! So thanks for the kind words and support! It means a lot to our team!
