I love the music! The controls feel nice and intuitive. Found it kinda tedious to repeat the level over and over. It feels kinda hard to justify restarting the level instead of just placing down the totem without dying and restarting.

Amazing Game!

Very creative implementation of the theme and a thoughtful crossover of platformer and puzzle. Really liked it! :)

Great art and vibes. There were some clever uses of the mechanics like with holding down the buttons or stopping the waterfall but the gameplay did get a little repetitive.

Very nice game. Love the visuals and mechanics. Great job.

Amazing game 👌 The idea is really clever and it's well executed in this game, the visuals are stunning I liked the drawings of the owls and the sounds are calm and relaxing. Maybe just a suggestion is to make the number of totems in each level limited so that you add another layer of puzzles where the player really thinks before choosing which optimal position to die and make the totem. I like the theme of creating games where losing is part of learning and solving the levels that's why my submission also has this idea of the player realizing mid-game (loop) what choices to make in order to not block yourself in future loops. Your game embraced this idea. and Congrats an making such a great game in this short period of time. Keep it up 🙌

Interesting!

really nice game, good music and art, a little repetitive but overall really good

Really fun game. Enjoyd most of it. It was also really important that you didn't need to die for every jump. With skill you can almost avoid all of the deaths

Really had fun with this one, the mechanic is really good and quite well used especially when using it to press buttons or get higher up. Really good job!

The environment art is really evocative and well drawn, I also loved how the totem looks. Would like shorter levels. The main mechanics work great. The music adds a lot to the atmosphere. well done.

Really nice idea, however quite long to rerun the whole distance haha but it is still good :)

Really fun to play ! I think it would have been more enjoyable if when we die we spawn next to our grave

amazing game

Cool idea and art!
But running over and over again for longer distances was a bit annoying

Nice atmosphere and use of the concept. I had fun, good job!

like the concept but maybe redoing the overall level everytime is quite long

artwork is great btw, levels balance are nice

Solid execution of a really nice idea. Loved the vibes (artwork/sound/gameplay meshed really well). Would love to see it developed further with more story and mechanics but excellent jam entry!

This is pretty cool! I like the idea a lot and see a lot of potential in it moving forward. The art and sound are really cool too! One big issue for me is the repetitive content, if I have to die to make a platform near the end of the level then I have to go all the way back to the beginning, which is a punishment even though I didn't fail.

I like the atmosphere of this game, the music, color palette, bg/character design and the mechanic work really well together. I got softlocked by accidentally clicking die on a ledge and I couldn't right click to remove to totem so I stopped playing, but I think this game has a really good core and, if polished a bit more, could be a lot of fun!

It would be really nice if you can drop by and checkout my team's entry for the jam here:
