Good game. Interesting concept but unfamiliar with anything. I must say the game works well but it can turn into an "obstacle hell". Sometimes the gameplay can be frustrating

I'm kind of in awe of how much you guys accomplished and how polished this game is lol.

Right off the bat, the presentation was amazing. Nothing else I can say there. Props to your voice actor as well. The concept is also great and pretty simple to understand. Love how your bullets get more powerful the more that they loop.

However, I feel like the perspective you guys went with effects readability quite a lot. It's a little hard to tell where exactly bullets are travelling because of this. I lost count of the number of times where it really felt like bullets should've hit the genie or the worms and they didn't. It's probably just a skill issue, but I think it's worth mentioning.

I do like how even the boss's bullets clear the screen as well. Felt pretty well balanced because of that

All in all, I'd say you guys made something really good here. Kudos to the entire team

Awsome game! Very impressive in just 4 days. Feels like a professional release. Everything is just right. The art, the audio, the voice actor, the mechanics. Absolutely stunning. Great work!

Submitted(+6)

This is mad impressive for just 4 days. It’s literally a full game with this scale and this level of polish. Hat off to the whole team (:

Submitted(+5)

Took me a second to understand what was going on, but once I did, I liked it a lot! Really fun gameplay loop, very polished as well. The sound design and music in particular are a highlight. Can see this one making its way into a full release as a roguelike or something. Would love to see that! (Yes I've seen the twitter page haha.) No idea how you guys managed to get this out with such a large team (for game jam standards anyway) in 4 days. Really great submission, congrats!

Developer(+2)

Yeah the team is built from scratch, so it does take skill to not crash and burn as any experienced jammer knows. But I just love doing that, more challenging, meeting more talented people and better work conditions overall. Delegating more and focusing on what actually matters (which is ...focusing on actual the game) through harmonizing individual contributions and departments.

Developer(+2)

And actually... It was initially a roguelike xD We just scrapped it entirely.

The graphics and effects are top tier. This game was tons of fun with hours of playability.

Has a nice gameplay loop!

Took me a moment to understand the flow, managed to complete the game in the first attempt.

The Game-play concept is very cool, felt like the game was a little too forgiving, but for a Jam this is quite something!

Good job on the art, especially on the VFX!

The game universe feels like it has a lot to give which is great, so now I'm starving for more content.

Developer(+4)

Aha yeah, it's a jam so being forgiving is mandatory (there is actually quite a few tricks that make the game easier hidden in there). Thanks a lot for the feedback. If you're interested we actually created a twitter page for anyone that wants to get updates on the potential future of this game.

Interested indeed! Followed. ;)

I feel like one of those tricks is making the player take less damage when low on health? You also refill your entire health bar when you heal so there's that.

Developer(+2)

Shhhhh 🤫

I love the graphics! Nice mechanics.

For me the controls were not intuitive and somehow not easy to target. But this might change.

Unfortunately the game crashed everytime: 1. start 2. when first moving 3. and 4. during game.

Developer(+2)

yeah we have a weird bug where alt-tabbing causes crashes sometime :( I'm glad you liked it!

Submitted(+3)

Can't wait for the full release!

Developer(+2)

Aha thank you! Actually we created a twitter page for anyone wants to get updates on the potential future of this game.

This game nails a mechanic that's both clever and addictive. What makes it shine is the potential for scalable difficulty. The core idea is simple, but it opens the door to brutally hard, precision-based levels that still feel fair. It’s the kind of challenge that’s tough, but extremely satisfying to master.

This game is very fun! well done to the HUGE Dev team!

Submitted(+3)

Can tell lots of work was put into this, the game ran smooth and was real fun! Beat it first try tho prob just lucky!

Submitted(+5)

A 30 person team is absolutely nuts. But the game has really high quality. I like all the art and the voice acting is fun. The main mechanic is pretty cool with shooting the orbs off the loop.

Submitted(+6)

Never seen before combat mechanic. Would love multiple boss battles. Epic job!

Submitted(+4)

Game slaps. Great boss fight, fantastic artstyle, very cool presentation. The gimmick itself might be a little much to keep track of at times, and maybe could be polished a little to be less frustrating (like, hovering over orbs to select them instead of cycling through them) but it was serviceable enough that it made the game a joy to play through and I would hardly call it a downside when all is said and done. Keep being awesome.

Submitted(+4)

I beat the game! yay! The use of loops in this game is quite interesting, good job! The hit sounds are real cat sounds? :O

Developer(+4)

no cats were harmed in the making of this game!

Submitted(+5)

ah nice ! let me call the police to stop the raid :D

Developer (1 edit) (+4)

I'm just kidding, we would never

Developer(+5)

Okiii byeeee!!

Developer(+1)

Submitted(+5)

Wow really liked this one! Took me a while to figure out how the game worked, but figuring it out was fun!

Great art too, this one was fantastic!

Submitted(+5)
