Nice game and concept, I liked the square part where you go in one direction and come out in adjacent direction.
I love the grid based movement and assets! Very retro very cool. Its awesome how its a giant maze not just individual rooms. Looks simple at first, but its not! This is a great game. Well done!
Played and loved it! Such a neat concept. Specialy with the switches that change your way! I’ve got Doppelchain up too—thoughts welcome. Keep it up!
Your game looks interesting, but unfortunately I'm cursed with MacOS so I can't play it. Thanks though
Really unique gameplay mechanic where you have to really think through how many steps to take! I don’t think I’ve ever seen another game like it, definitely very cool level design.
I played part of this on stream (video here) if you’re interested in watching someone play your game. I haven’t finished it yet, but I had a great time playing so far!
Thanks so much! I loved your game too, so seeing you here is really nice. (also I'm realizing I made a booboo in how saving works, so you might need to do a full restart if you want to play more...sorry :/ )
This was a very fun puzzle game! I love how at a tile level you have the unique looping tile type and then at the macro level you have the loop-nature of the map. I was amazed every time something new was possible with the looping tile. really solid mechanic and game!
The puzzles are really smart and I like how it is a whole map instead of a levels.
Yo, GG, I completed the game! It was fun to solve everything! Excellent level design!
This was really cool! I liked how it shifted from a “standard” room-by-room puzzle to a more exploratory approach by the end. Parts of rooms that felt random at first were revealed to be critically important later. I liked the final puzzle of looping around the level to retrieve the one straggler block and access the ending sequence. I was very worried I would accidentally softlock myself (or at least lock further progression behind a lot of Z presses, if the mistake was a while back), given how many extra holes there are that aren’t meant to have blocks put in them, but either the game just telegraphed the correct blocks well enough that never happened, or I just got lucky. Either way, I had a great time with this - really impressive design work!
Very cool entry! The mechanics and puzzles were clever and fun to figure out. The level design was pretty good at teaching the mechanics in a subtle way. I also appreciated the open world layout. Unfortunately i was missing one block so i couldn't get to the question mark, and I'd have to do a full restart to fix that. Other than that, i enjoyed myself a lot!
It was really fun figuring out how the game works! The puzzles are excellent. I didn’t get to see what the question mark in the hub said, but I still won. I hope more people see this!
Thanks! I am very proud of the game. Except for that first question mark, everyone just comes to the conclusion it tells you about anyway lol. I wonder exactly how much of the game you saw before beating it
Pretty much the whole thing, except I didn’t quite reach the question mark
Don't think you really missed anything then. The question mark basically just tells you where to start the path to the ending
the design was incredible wow
