Dude, loved this game!!!!!!!!

It is really fun playing it with and without an strategy, i played without one at first, but i'll come back with more time to play again!

You'll continue to develop the game? Would be cool some new features and maps

Nice game! It's simple, yet really enjoyable. It took me just a while to get used to the control.

GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE! Love it!

Love the choice in sounds and music so much! Cute style and a very fun arcadey vibe. Great work!

Our idea was similar. I hope you get a chance to try it too.

Wow this is a great idea for the loop theme! I love the (16 bits?) sprites and the music and SFX perfectly fits!

However I asked myself what's the point in completing super fast the laps? Couldn't I just take the longest route going off road every time, so I do not have to rush for the following laps? Probably you could add some bonus/malus to push the player riding as fast as possible each loop?

Nonetheless, great job!

I considered adding a time limit that progressively decreased until it was barely enough to complete a near-perfect lap, however, I felt that the checkpoints were already challenging enough to allow everyone to take the challenge at their own pace. A slow-moving ghost vehicle that suddenly accelerated could also pose an obstacle, even for the cautious. Pushable traffic cones and demolished traffic signs communicate my intention that no specific route should be respected: This is a chaotic video game, driving rules are not respected here ÒwÓ

Thanks for taking the time to try my video game, and especially for stopping by to leave a review ÒwÓ

Nice game, but the controls are hard on mobile

Nice little car game ! Good art and music also ! Congrats !!!

Very polished little game, super well done. I love how you can knock over the terrain!

this game is so cool and nostalgic, great work

Was looking to review some games on mobile while I'm out and about, this one did not disappoint, super simple but super fun, controls are right and a bit of a learning curve to mastering the driving which I love. It would be cool to see if it would feel better with a joystick, idk maybe

Developer

A joystick would make the game much more accessible on mobile devices, I'll keep that in mind for a post-jam update, thanks so much for your feedback ÒwÓ

It was really fun to race against yourself and to hit every object beside the track. I liked that every timeline has a different looking car and the challenge to avoid you past self made it more challenging the more laps i cleared, which i thought was done well.

But I found it a little bit annoying, that the touch controls for mobile were visible when playing on desktop in the Browser. The game’s UI did not scale perfectly to a 16:9 monitor and cuts off a bit on both the left and right edges. I guess this game is optimized for widescreen.

Nonetheless all the negatives i listed did not really affect the fun I had and still worked great on desktop.

At least an option to remove those controls from screen would have been nice ÒwÓ

I played it on my phone and really enjoyed it! My best was 5 laps — after that, dodging my past selves got to hard. Knocking over road signs was surprisingly fun too.

Would appreciate it if you could check out and rate my game as well!

I like this car racing loop based idea. I think this game should win the game jam like The other great games! The art is so great and the music is just pretty much perfect! I would like to recommend this game to users that want to play a 2d car racing game. There is another game like this one. It’s called Re;Laps, I also like re;laps. I would recommend both of the games!

Hey, I'm the one who made Re;Laps. Glad you liked it, we do have similar game concepts, but this one has better art and music

Submitted

We had the same concept for our games but I'll say you have great art and music compared to mine 😂. Your game is really fun, I really liked it! Hope you also try my game 😁

Very nice little game. Enjoyable and tight controls.

General: Good Loop concept. Art is great. Game mechanics are difficult and difficuty is hard.

Mood: Feels fun because of the physics, adds an element of comedy.

It's hard to get used to it but once you do I can say it's really fun and cool!

This is hilarious. So funny when a ghost comes flying out of nowhere and you get a little mad and then realize that you are the reason the ghost was there to begin with hah

I only managed to make it to 3 laps, but had a lot of fun! Loved the little pixel cars.
