With the top down view it remind me of vampire survivor, if you want to do a game with a wave system and you don't have to move a lot you should try Vampire Survivor it's a good reference
Because it's your first game jam it's a good start , try to scope lower next time to polish everything like sound design and gamefeel
Nice fishing and cooking game ! It would be better with a timer so the zombie doesn't have to wait forever and can eat your brain if you'r too slow bc he's starved xD. It would be great to have some different fish to catch also !
Your game also lack of sounds effects, it would be better with some sounds even made by mouth it could be funny :D
The game was still very funny to play :)
The game is very good and promising ! The hand model who holds the ball looks insanely good in game !!
I love the little story at the beginning of the game, it would be nice to have some sound effect or voice acting and moving the image with some zoom effect when someone talks :D
The gameplay is good but it lacks of gamefeel, for example, enemies that flash in white or red when they take damage with some VFX and have a hit animation. For the player, it’s the same, a red outline when you take damage and move the UI. With all that, the game would be so much more enjoyable and dynamic! You can also add a hit stop if you touch the head of an enemy and make a critical hit, adding a camera shake effect when you throw a ball.
The game is really promising and can be really but really cool if you add all that ! You already have a very good artistic foundation, some sounds to rework as for example when dealing damage to enemies I find it a bit too present, normally with a sound cue you can limit the number of sounds played.
Anyway, well done to the whole team :)
Thank you for your review !
We didn’t want to add checkpoints because the game only lasted 10 minutes, so it would be too easy if there was a checkpoint at each stage reached.
We already have a similar opinion to the one you have about creating the game in the rogue style and honestly, it’s a great idea. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to do it during the jam and there aren’t many varied events in the game. But yes, with an upgrade system after each game and the addition of random elements in the game, it would be very fun and replayable :D
Thanks again for playing our game and having fun 😁!
It's a fun little game, though it lacks a bit of direction.
I didn't realize at first that you could teleport using the 'T' key; I thought I had to interact with the door, since the game tells you early on that you interact using 'Enter'. As for the interaction key, I would have gone with 'E' or 'F', as those are the standard keys found in most video games. The boss fight was cool! However, I only discovered later that you can spam-jump to dodge attacks more easily; a quick tutorial involving some basic enemies would have been nice! The story is funny and charming! The music is good, too, and the environment and art style are great.
Regarding combat, I would have added more audio and visual feedback—things like impact effects, camera shake, or "hit stop" combined with a flashing effect (rather than just making the character transparent, even though that does let the player know he is invincible while transparent) for critical hits or when getting killed by the boss; this would add a sense of power and intensity to the game.
With those additions, I think you'd have an excellent game. You already have a solid foundation and a story that is funny and engaging right from the start, with a clear objective established immediately.
Great job developing all of this on your own ! :D
Hi ! :)
Yea I was thinking about the 2nd option to place houses and objects faster !
If you continue working on this project I will come back for sure to see what did you make :D
For the type of worker you mentionned I don't think that a great idea bc you can upgrade windmills by yourself it's just hard and long when there is a lot of buildings to lv up, so the best is to : auto upgrade or be able to upgrade multiples building who are the same type of build.
The font is a bit hard even it doesn't really bother me , for the title it's fine but for long text it's a bit hard so it's better to change to a more readable font when there is a lot of text.
Really cool little game !
This is the first construction game I've played on this game jam and I really like the idea of saving the world by making as much bread as possible! What would have been even better is overall to make it easier for the player to place their buildings for example rather than laying them one by one, being able to lay several in line at a single cost depending on the resources that we has. For improvements, a small interface to improve several buildings at once.
In fact this game can be so expandable that there could be so much more to do and build!
I want to farm as much bread as Cookie clicker does XDDD
Hey! Thank you very much for your feedback :) !
For the driving phase with the clouds I only had time to do one phase due to lack of time and I agree with you that more variations would have been needed !
For the firearm I understand that it would have been more interesting to shoot more often without having to constantly reload !
I'm very glad you had a good time playing the game :D !
Very good little game ! I would have liked there to be a little end message when we collect all the bubbles but apart from that I had a lot of fun:) !
Otherwise you have courage to have done it on the latest version of Unreal XD, and the package of your game is still in development and not in shipping.
Thank you very much for your feedback:), I really like the idea of aroguelike game since everything is already generated in the sky!
It's true that the fire reload is quite long, we thought about killing the enemies in one hit to make it more fluid and satisfying but we didn't have time to test it and set it up.
For the actions in the ship we wanted to test lots of different things around the theme but I understand that some are a little weird xD.
Hey !
I find your feedback very constructive, so don't worry—this kind of input is exactly what helps us improve :).
I agree that we probably aimed a bit too high for the jam (especially since the developer and game designer could only work on weekends and weekday evenings xD).
I also understand that focusing on a single mechanic and polishing it to the max would have been the better choice, but we wanted to aim for an *Overcooked*-style experience where you have to juggle multiple tasks.
Regarding the visual style, I totally agree with you—some good post-processing and outlines would definitely improve gameplay visibility :)
As for the UI, due to time constraints, we didn't manage to replace the default Unreal interface with our own custom designs to match the Steampunk style.
Thanks again for the feedback ! We'll do better next time 💪
Hey !
Glad you had a great time playing the game :D ! And yes you are right, at certain times if you are in a cloud and you are attacked it is difficult to see the enemies attack you:/, I think that an outline around the planes or an occlusion effect could solve the problem !
Thank you very much for your feedback in any case and we will probably see you for the GMTK game Jam 2026 if you ever participate too :)
