Cute game. Swimming along with a long tadpole is pretty satisfying.

How does your game fit the theme?
You repeatively play a life simulation of a frog, from tadpole to adult frog, and then a new tadpole again.

Congrats on making your first game! For only doing it in 4 days, it's really impressive. Keep at it!
Hey, I really liked the animations, they were so good.
Tho yes, I can see the scope creep. But good job on your first game, as other have said for first game in 4 days this is really insane
Great 🐸 game.
It is insane this is your first game and have good qualty and also made within 4 days. You should update it in the future.
Pretty interesting! I got a pretty long tadpole at start cuz I didn't find the place to become a frog.
good game, the key don't work properly but i think it's because of my web browser
The game looks amazing, great artwork and animations, the gameplay is ok with some janky hitboxes, but that is to be expected in a gamejam, cool overall
Nice work for a first game super impressive! Sadly my tadpole got too big to hide under lily pads and the mean bird got me.
love this project! a great gameplay loop even without the extra polish and audio
Interesting take on a life cycle theme : ) missing a bit of polish but there is quite a gameplay to it. I got lost out of bound once I got as a frog stage, and squished by some random wood logs ^^" but I had fun exploring the map
For a first game this is really good! You got really good animations, solid tadpole evolution and movement with believable collision with the enemies that have clear indicators for when 'damage' will be dealt and how to avoid it with a good tradeoff between playing it safe and progressing (eating the lilypads). Keep it up, you got potential!
The art was cool. The game itself I’d change a couple things. The collision as a tadpole just stops you, if it was swimming I’d expect to maybe slide along a wall? And once I became a frog I didn’t know what to do. I realized I could walk on land and I went around but didn’t see anywhere to go and I couldn’t eat anymore. Maybe you could add some instructions on the game page?
I really enjoyed the art in this game. I found the movement of the tadpole especially nice. Well done!
