A ver cute polished puzzle game.  I really liked the concept and the art and sound design where on point. Nice tutorial BTW.

I love the levels on this one! I played many other games with this mechanic but this one manages to make the levels interesting without being annoying. I think the limit on the loop length helps a lot. And the levels were just nicely designed to funnel the player into what they need to do without being too obvious

Cool puzzle game! I would have loved to see more elements and mechanics introduced throughout the game. You used the bonus collectibles nicely to allow the player to challenge themselves with the more difficult puzzles, I liked those puzzles a lot, especially if you had to use your clone loop for multiple purposes.

The last bonus shard was definitely my favorite puzzle of the game!

Developer

Thanks for the review! We actually thought about implementing different mechanics to these shards like dash or double jump and etc., but decided to just make the game nice and polished, as there was no much time

really liked the concept! similar to our game haha

The puzzle design in these puzzles was really well made! I played the whole god damn thing and had a bunch of "Ah ha!" moments trying to get the extra blue pieces.

Really well made game! Good job!

Amazing use of the loop concept ,  difficult enough to make me scratch my head here and there ,great game! ; )

Already seen 2 games with this time rewind mechanic but the level design here is excellent.
Was fun working out both how to get the collectables, and still clear the levels, good job~

Pretty good platformer, and the puzzles were fun and challenging.

Nice job. :)

The puzzle platformers are strong with this game jam. Great work! :D

Thank you for making this game! It was really fun trying to overcome those puzzles! The first time I got stuck, I could feel my brain slowly activating, and it was a really nice feeling! Felt very good to make a plan, execute it, and seeing it play out!

Some lil platform techniques were maybe a bit tricky, and didn't really feel as good as the rest of the game though :/ I'm only talking about the jumps were you have to record yourself with half of you out of a hole, jump, and then after that jump on the recorded version, etc... Maybe a bit too platformer for the game xD

But apart from that, there's really not much to be said, apart from When does the full game release? :D

Developer(+1)

And thank YOU for your review!!! We might think about full release if this game gets a lot of positive feedback and hopes!

I had fun playing the game, it starts easy and then it becomes a bit interesting, more at the last level where you need to use the clones properly

The music is good and relaxing, the visuals are cute, everything feels cozy and the platforming is ok because you can go at your own pace. The difficulty is good, the ramp is nice and collecting the 8 pieces is fun, I like it has a timer to see how much time you have used or to speedrun the game, but I felt a bit frustrated when I did it the speedrunning way, feels a bit strange when you are  next to the walls, which is only a problem when you try to finish the game as quick as possible, but in a normal gameplay the platforming is good or don’t feel bad.

But in overall, I enjoyed the game! :) I left my time I did my 1st play and the speedrun one

Hehe, thanks, I did it :)

It's Hoshino Ichika from Project Sekai, also I like your pfp! :D

Hiii !! The game is simple but quite fun ! It was really easy, but not in a bad way. I'm just surprised after playing more difficult games from the jam. I don't try to hunt the shards, maybe i will later with more time on my side :D

Overall: ★★★★★

Loved the game, thanks!

Creativity ★★★★★

Not the 1st game I've seen going for similar concept, but the cleanest one. In a good way it was obvious for me, how the mechanic works, what I can do it with it, and how I should apply it to challenges on a level. If

Enjoyment★★★★★

Loved puzzles, loved different mechanics, loved how my skill has evolved with each level. Will repeat myself, but I really liked how easy it was to grasp what game and each level wants from me without any words just from level design and past levels.

The only weak point for me was level-progression as after some harder levels I faced much more primitive ones, which felt like a filler. Did play only 13 mins, so dunno if there are endgame levels requiring stacking movement of multiple shadow-clones (2nd jumps on 1st and jumps from it, while main char needs to do 2 consecutive precise jumps and so on), but maybe it's too much for general player who isn't that masochistic as me:D Overall loved the game and may play it a bit more later

Artwork ★★★★★

Simple and clean, does its job really well. I believe that for platforming puzzles the role of art is not to disturb mechanics and here it's done really well, while bringing visual appeal to the game. As for improvement tips:

- Start UI is a bit confusing right now turning into state that feels disabled on play button hover. And also I would probably make the whole half of a screen active element not only button in such layout.

Audio ★★★★☆

BGM is cute and works well, SFXs in general are good, but I have a bit of problem with timings as I feel a latency between landing and sound being played (weirdly getting bigger with the length of the jump). Probably would also make jump sfx a bit more subtle.

Thank you for detailed review and taking your time writing it! We appreciate it! And yes, I can agree with most of these points! Great feedback!
