End life plan
TIC80 carts use plaintext interpreted languages like lua, and the program allows the user to see and modify this source code easily. The single-file format combined with the extremely small filesize makes it possible for anyone to keep and maintain their own copies by whatever method they want. Fun fact, a full archive of all 3000+ carts submitted to the main tic80 website is under 40MB.
Transparency note
I have amassed a collection of general purpose math and graphics functions which I use in all my projects. I used deepseek for advice on math questions and lua language features.

loved playing it while listening to Master of Puppets :)
woah this game is fun. i thought it was going to be a simple killing monster game, but when it turned into a blood farming simulator it got very, very entertaining ^^. i completed the game in 9:20 minutes! congrats on making the game :D!!
It took me a little bit to understand what I was supposed to do but then it was pretty entertaining! I know it was probably made outside the length of the jam, but I really like the style of the pause menu lol
Cool game, it took me a while to figure out that retrying is broken, but once i figured that out the game was pretty fun!
I loved this game bro ! keep up...
I will be happy if you also rate my game : https://itch.io/jam/stop-killing-games-game-jam/rate/3724252
Ok! This one is amazing!
It took a short while to figure out exactly what to do.
I didn't realise you could scroll the screen, and wasn't sure how blood works. It also took a moment to figure out that the skeletons were friendly.
It seems no enemies spawned on my second attempt.
But it's satisfying to figure out, then really fun to play!
In fact; in a way, I think the ambiguity actually helps to make the game more satisfying. It's really cool!
This game has fun, climatic atmosphere :D. I was confused at first but I did pretty well later on. It got some nice learning curve.
This was fun! I liked the art style.
I had an issue at first where enemies weren't spawning and I was very confused on how to play because of it, but restarting fixed it.
Neat to watch the tree grow.
The first time I played this I was so confused lol BUT then I actually read the description, and it was really fun!
I really enjoyed this, and it got very engaging the longer you played!
Good game!
At first it might be hard, but then it gets progressively engaging, as the tree grows. I also liked the usage of TIC80. Well done!
I hate to admit it took me a while until I realized I could go downwards towards the orbs lol... but after that it was a very fun challenge! I loved the progression and the pacing felt right, the enemies were tougher as you watered the tree and needed better skellys to hold them. Very well done!
This game is a fun little challenge! I did experience a little bug with enemies not spawning after a restart, but that’s nothing refreshing the page can’t fix. Nice work!
This is hard! Very fun. For some reason the enemy sprites disappeared after I watered the blood tree enough, I don't remember the exact amount. The health was still visible though, so it was fine.
Fun idea. I like the core gameplay loop and this could easily be build into a bigger game. There is a point where I think some enemies show up without a sprite and it's hard to tell if it's intentional or not
It's not intentional. When you get the blood tree to a certain level, the sprite sheet is swapped out with an alternate version where everything is supposed to be more disheveled and hollow, to show how your chaos is corrupting the world with how strong it's getting . But I overlooked the fact that some sprites don't exist at all in the "corrupted" sheet. That's something I ran out of time on and the only effect you can really see is your skeletons become bloody and take on a twisted facial expression when your chaos/tree level reaches that point.
Liked the game! Using the lifetime as currency is such a good take on the theme!
I liked the sound effects a lot, the footsteps in particular :D
Love the art direction! Also just such a good take on the theme, using a resource as your life pool as well as a necessity for upgrades. Super unique. Will be following you to see future submissions!
The game give me this old school retro vibe which I really like, this is also a great concept to build upon and I would love to see a full fledged game.
Starting/Retrying took a while to load for me for some reason, and the numbers above the enemies (I'm guessing how many hits it takes to kill them) are working fine for all enemies except for the skeletons, which always show 30 and never get reduced or changed.
Looks nice and plays well!
Very fun game. It was very convenient when I no longer had to wack enemies once my skeleton army got strong enough to handle the waves on its own. Was also quite the sight seeing them zoom along once speed got upgraded a bunch.
I loved maxing out speed and spawn rate and seeing the skeleton swarm. The game also got a lot more fun after I realized I have to make a few donations to the blood tree first lol
