Yup! We did all the voice acting, even for the slime, haha.

Thanks for giving the game a try!

Yeah, the slime physics was the hardest part for sure. Most of the time working on the jam was spent on getting it to work

We're glad you liked the voice acting! If we can make time for it and it fits the game, it's always a fun thing to add in.

Thanks and thanks for playing!

Yeah, there's lots of room to expand it for sure.

Glad you liked the sound effects and thanks for playing!

We're so glad you had fun, thanks for giving it a try!

Thank you, we're glad you enjoyed it

We try to strive for clean code when we can, which is definitely harder in a game jam, so we appreciate the call out!

We're glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing!

Thanks so much! We thought it was really satisfying when you get skeleton parts inside of yourself for a bit so we were very glad we were able to keep that without making the blob physics weird.

Super cool to hear you took a look at our source code too but now we're just embarrassed we didn't get around to renaming it to slime.gd

But yeah, going in, we thought the blob system would be able to be done using just some spring joints and such and ended up spending a lot of time figuring it out when that didn't work.

Thank you! We're glad it was satisfying, that's what we were going for.

Thanks for the nice comments and thanks for playing!

Genuinely hilarious, loved it!

There are for sure some quality of life improvements that can be implemented here, as some of the other commenters have noted.

Not sure if it was only a problem on my machine, but there was a lot of environmental flickering going on. That died down once I grabbed the prism, though.

Point and clicks are cool, nice job!

I liked the art, but it was a bit difficult to see interactables sometimes.

A very interesting experience! The music and animations made everything have a good sense of tenseness to it.

And of course I had to go back and play the second ending.

I'm particularly fond of the hook mechanic, even though I'm not very good at the game.

I always appreciate a Linux build!

Really loved the animations here, and the backstory too!

Eventually I started purposely clicking on the bombs to see what would happen, so adding in a little bit of variety as the game progresses might be nice.

I also had a hard time reading some of the text, personally.

Overall a really solid entry, good job!

Really loved the simple yet effective aesthetic of this one. Decapitation was a surprise the first time.

It's a good concept! I liked the art style, especially all the animations.

I had a lot of trouble with the combat, personally. I got past the first round, though.

Upgrading between rounds was nice as well.

Oof, I am not coordinated enough for this game. It was tough, but I completed a few levels!

Not sure if it was intentional,  but when there's a lot of corpses on the floor it refused to let me jump.

Really liked the art style and feel of the game.

This was fun! I liked the art style.

I had an issue at first  where enemies weren't spawning and I was very confused on how to play because of it, but restarting fixed it.

Neat to watch the tree grow.

On my first play through I accidentally blew myself up with my own grenade. Whoops.

It was pretty fun! Choosing potential upgrades was neat and I love all the little details, like the spikes get some red on them if you jump on them.

This was so unsettling, haha.

But I managed to keep the creature alive for 35 seconds!

Loved this! Nice aesthetic and it was quite fun.

Thank you! Go goofy or go home, right? Haha.

Thank you!

The slime physics was definitely the biggest hurdle to get over, and even at this point its still a little buggy.

I got 3960! No idea if that's a good score or not though.

I enjoyed it and the simple combat mechanics made it really easy to pick up.

I liked the take on the theme, too. Nice job!

I had a good time! Took me a little while to understand I had to pick up the ingots. Also would have appreciated a full screen option or something like that. It was a bit hard to see what was going on at that resolution.

I'm not sure if I did well or not but I think having an affinity of "good" is probably a good thing.

Interesting concept! I enjoyed making the choices, but it would have been nice to see some more direct impact.

Nice entry!

Thank you!

Yeah, the physics were really tricky for this one. We can just blame it on the slime being really slippery, right? Haha.

We're so glad you liked it!

Thank you! Adding in a little voice acting is always a lot of fun.

Thanks so much!

Thank you! We're glad you had a good time!

This was fun! I've never actually played 2048 before so it took me a second to figure out what I was doing once I did everything was smooth sailing from there.

It was really cool to build your own deck.

Oof, yeah, there's a rare chance that that can happen. We added a restart button in the pause menu solely because of that.

Sometimes the physics just can't handle all that blobbyness, haha.

Thanks for playing!

Thank you! I'm glad you noticed the different slimey sounds. We thought if we did the same noise over and over it would feel too one note.

Thanks for playing!

To crush the skeletons, you have to press down (so either S or the down arrow key). It gives you more smooshing power!

Thank you!!

It's pretty good for a first game jam game!

And thanks for checking out our game, too!

You're very welcome!

Thank you and I'm glad you enjoyed ours too!

Thank you and thanks for trying it out!

I got 14.4! Much improved from my original score as I figured out what to do.

It really made me want to race other cars
