That is a very good point, although I would like to add some art in key places like another comment suggested, for example in the choice popup, to enhance the experience. Thanks for playing!

Great game, I forgot you could run faster with X and was stuck at the bomb level for a while lol... but other than that, very fun and challenging. Always good to have a "run fast before the lava gets you" type of level, though I was expecting it to go upwards! Controls were a bit weird sometimes but good job!
Hey all, I'm dropping mine here as well, let me know what you think if you play it, ideas, issues, any feedback is welcome :)

Always great to play with hookshots, especially when they feel smooth, and this one did! Very interesting mechanic with the amount of blood changing your speed, that will make for some very intricate level design if you wish to continue forward with this game. I'm a lover of parkour platformers so I'm biased but I really enjoyed this one. I agree with what some others commented on future improvements so I will not repeat the same things, but suffice to say the foundation is there, great job
Wow, I'm honestly shocked how good this is, it feels and plays just like Inscryption! This is definitely a game to keep working on!
I would say the card handling was a bit awkward sometimes, very minor though. I really like how you used all the space in the screen to put different things, and it helped to know where to look once you got used to it. Very interesting mechanic with the exhaust on cards. Overall really liked it, great game!
Wow, I loved everything about this, the combat is good, and hard! Took a while to get used to it but after that it felt very nice, I think difficulty wise it's pretty well balanced, you get better as you keep playing. Graphics and sounds are great as well. Only thing I would improve is the "icons" of the power ups to be clearer or bigger so you can easily tell what they do, and once you play a couple times you recognize them easily. But it's a minor detail, great job!
Edit: maybe just assigning different colors for different effects would be enough, not sure how many power-ups are!
Niceeee I was waiting for someone to comment if they did an evil run, what did you think of it? I gotta be honest, I mostly tested the good decisions, and just made sure the evil ones worked. I couldn't think of simple things to add that would make your run feel evil though, any ideas? And thanks for playing!
It's funny how many different perspectives I got haha, for some there is a lot of replayability and for others not that much, and it makes sense! I will definitely take that idea into account, it's such a simple addition but I agree it would make it soooo much better! I suck at art though so I'll see what I can do haha thanks for playing!
I get you, that was the one thing I kept trying to improve throughout development, basically how impactful choices were, but had to stop at some point to make sure the game was playable haha. I'm stand kinda in the middle, some branches feel more interesting to me than others, so maybe depending on what happens on your playthrough it could result in a better or worse experience! I tried to add some events that wouldn't rely on rng that much but it was almost at the end and didn't have much time to add more interaction with it. Thank you for the feedback and playing !
Thanks for playing! I don't know that game, nor the soundtrack of Ultima VI, but Kevin's music never disappoints haha.
Code looks clean if I'm being honest, I tried to keep everything as modular as possible to avoid hardcoding stuff (already had many bad experiences with that), although it started to become a bit more spaghetti towards the end because of time lol. I'm satisfied with the event structure I came up with, which is all stored in a json file and is very easy to add more events, flags, modifiers and such. I doubt I would have been able to add so many events if I hadn't made that decision early on. It was a real pain to get it to work though, but the experience was worth it :D
That was it, I think homework was 1100MB and finishes uploading just before movies is deleted, so then you drag Movies which is 1200MB and wait on the screen until it finishes and tadaaa.
Hmm I can't think of anything tbh, I'm not sure what direction you'd like to go with the game, but one simple thing would be adding music or sfx!
Ah thanks for playing! You're right maybe it's not that clear, basically it's how long the "watch" lasts, maybe I should add a note, I also forgot to show the range but I wasn't sure how to and ran out of time haha

Hehehe, I realized that the upload still goes on even if the file is deleted so I was able to save the homework and movies, but you have to be very fast. After that I saw Mcfluff thought the same and tried their strategy but I couldn't do it, it's pretty tight!
Anyways, I loved this idea!! And yea 55 seconds before the deadline my goodness you must've been sweating bullets lol, I'm glad you were able to submit tho cause it's a great game :)
Really liked this game! The mines remind me of the worms mines, which may or may not have triggered some PTSD..... lol. I would have liked to see what floor I got to when I died and maybe the deepest I reached, something simple. The movement was good, and the level generation was pretty good as well, great job!
Cool game, graphics look nice, very retro haha, and the movement felt very smooth, although it was awkward when the mouse ended up being behind your lauch direction and it slowed you down, I wanted to go faster!! I think it would make for a nice isometric platformer or something like that, if you ever wanted to continue working on this, but great game!
