I like the aesthetics and the simple minigames, a little music would've been nice I honestly thought it was gonna turn into a horror game at some point LOL. Very simple game, I like it :D
Really loved the presentation. My favorite game was Glizzy Collector, the noise of the dudes who follow you was haunting in a cool way. Least favorite was probably the people game, it started to lag after having too many people on screen. But I love the concept of having a bunch of mini-games all jammed together like this.
this was a cozy relaxing game! getting to finish each game was nice. the little details of changing the wallpaper and having a readme were also really cool. it's nice to play one of these types of games from time to time.
Good job:) I would have liked some sort of event happening after completing all the games, like an end screen or some dialog, but otherwise it was nice:)
Great style and some fun variety of minigames. As someone else already pointed out having 3000+ people on screen can cause some lag, but otherwise an enjoyable Warioware-esque game collection.
Really liked the game — I just missed having some music during the gameplay.
Thank you for playing.
Really fun and cool minigames! Managed to complete all of them (my favorite one was match burger minigame). One funny thing i encountered was during the people minigame as the population count increases the game starts to lag real hard making it easier to get the +population button. Aside from that, a really unique experience! The gameplay setting is neat, artstyle is good and sound effects are real nice. Great job!
Thanks for the feedback and for playing.
Really great game unique concept of playing games from "stream" also loved the art and level design my fav minigame was the football one, really well done, also i noticed you are using gamemaker so i wanted to share with you a better way to improve enemy ai, cause in the hotdog minigame the enemy follows the player ignoring every tile so there is a function called:
mp_potential_step_object(the x coordinates to follow,the y coordinates to follow,the speed you want,the tile or object to avoid while following the player);
this way the enemy will follow the player while avoiding the tiles for a better player experience.
also if you dont mind you can check my game and try it.
Thank you for playing. That's a neat function I'll definitely utilize in my next projects 👍
I'll try your game soon.
Firstly, I did not need to be called out by your game...
Secondly, this game was awesome! I loved exploring the OS, I wish there were some hidden stuff to find. I did have to restart because I shut off the computer before even playing my first game... I'm just built different...
Finally, well done! Great game!
Lmao. I got the idea of the game when I looked at my steam library, we're on the same boat. Trust me I wanted to add so much more to the OS, game achievements, more wallpapers unlocked as you beat the games, easter eggs, a jumpscare, and difficulty options for the games. But I didn't have the time.
Yea I get the not enough time, my game was supposed to be a deckbuilding roguelite, but has no way to get cards for the deck you start with and only has a single enemy... I spent so much time just trying to get the mechanics to work! 😂
P.S. Wallpaper 2 is best wallpaper. And no, it is not up for debate.
I really liked this one. The games were short but super silly (the football one was my favourite) and the whole theming around the game was really fun. It definitely brought me back to minigame-focused games like wario-ware and the like (but chill and able to play each game at your own pace).
Thanks for playing. I always had a fascination for minigames and wario-ware games( I played the DS games to death ) XD . This Jam ran for 10 days so making multiple games within one was feasible, although very exhausting.
I really liked the green chasing game and the burger making one. i love that you can change the wallpapers, OS simulation games are always so neat. Congrats on submitting not just one but 5 games to the game jam! + again on the wallpapers the artstyle is super nice
Thank you for your kind words. Big fan of OS simulators as well.
pretty cool and novel take on the theme + i love being chased by 4 analog horror green men + nice artstyle
Thanks for playing.
this was fun the minigames were really cool!
Thank you.
liked the quality and the variety of the minigames and the visuals!
Thank you.
I played it! It‘s clear that here you focused on the minigame, because the amount of polish here is insane. All of them was super fun. I had a heart attack when 4 green men appeared in glizzy eater, and the ball sprite in the football minigame is so funny. I also like how in the people minigame a huge chunk of people got deleted at one when you lose. The cat background is also fire. Really fun!
My only nitpick is that since i have an azerty keyboard the minigames involving wasd wwere 10x harder for me, but that‘s a nitpick. Idk what engine you use but you could try using physical keys or maybe key remapping. But, again, small nitpick in very enjoyable game :D
Glad you enjoyed the game. Also i googled azerty layout and i feel your frustration XD. I should have added arrow controls too for accessibility, but it didn't cross my mind.
Btw, did you play on the browser, and if so have you had issues with the resolution. The web build was a last minute thing and I struggled with sizing the game on the screen.
there was an issue where the off button was cropped off screen but it‘s very mild and didn‘t affect the game at all!
Good to hear. I'll checkout your game later.
