I like the minigames, and they're very creative, too! The theming is super fun, though the games were a little basic. Some other small improvements like menu music would have improved the game, but that's more a matter of having more time. Within the timeframe, you did a really good job! Making multiple games in one is difficult.

A very tricky game. It feels quite unforgiving at times, but the visuals are clean and it's very fun to play through. Phase two destroys me every time. It's a brilliant concept and I love the creativity of fighting the start button! Perhaps giving some of the lasers some sort of brief warning on which direction they're going to move would help.
Here's my game! https://itch.io/jam/shovel-jam-2025/rate/3736374
Any constructive criticism is greatly appreciated!
The music and art were standout. Really really artistic in both senses. It was a little short, but the gameplay-story cross was really well. In a game about learning to slow down and enjoy free time, it makes sense to have a reduced focus on gameplay. Not just a brilliant game, but rather showing games as an artform, not just for entertainment
I'm a man that doesn't play games because they're relaxing, but rather because they're intense and this hit the right spot. My hands were shaking trying to type as fast. Right up my alley. I will, however, say that the button to leave being space did catch me a few times because I instinctively hit space to start a new word. Perhaps an option to change that would have been good, but other than that, really good entry!
A fun little game, though certainly a little buggy (my rock grinder started going the opposite direction to my train, and I went into the negative for rounds). It's a really nice concept, though, and I could see myself getting hooked to something like this if it had a little more polish. It was very satisfying watching my train start small and eventually seeing it weave in-between trees and make lots of money.
