Great! it's a highly adictive arcade.
some of the slingshot spawn too low barely i have enought to drag and shot in the angle needed. It's best if you put a botton cap at leas ones 16-32 pixel up for pc, more for android(if you gonna port it) you don't want the plauer have to drag their fingers to close to the limits of the screen for a side their fingers can slip, or work then can open the menu bar.
I my opinion would be better to get rid od the red eyes and red screen at loss and use another effect, it break in a bad way the art style the whole game has, stand like a sore thumbs between the grayscale pallete the rest of the game use.
Ya! I definitely messed up by not including a safe area for those bottom spawns and will be fixing for the post-jam release; I missed that you can't even do a full pull in the current version, let alone the effects of running your fingers off the edge of a device!
Thanks for the feedback RE: the game over screen, too—I was hoping I could use the unexpected change in colors to underscore the "hangryness," but I bet there are other ways to do the same. I did re-use the color for the game win animation, too, to try and make it feel like it was part of the style but I can see how it sticks out overall.
Thanks for playing and sharing your feedback!
LOL the title is hilarious the music is spot on, the birds are very distinguished in their top hats and I love their annoyed squawk at the end of a round, the cannon blast caught me off guard in a good way, was not expecting that. A cool addition would be a line indicator for the first shot to see where the first shot lands. Everything comes together nicely, Great job!
An aiming indicator would be a good idea here! I feel like having a fully parabolic line could make the game too easy, so it's something I'd likely need to play around with. Thanks for playing and sharing your feedback!
Never thought there'd be a day where I see dapper, yet hangry birds. :P
I beat the game after many, many tries (score of 2110). The physics and simple graphics made it very satisfying to play. Nice job!
Nice score—thanks for playing and leaving your feedback!
haha.. i loved it . got around 100 score.
just one small thing, maybe if a aim marker could be added, to help where the target will be shot.. like in the angry birds
Ya! Another person shared that feedback and I need to investigate how that'd work best with the game. I suspect part of the fun comes from exploring/learning/nailing how the physics and aiming work, but I bet I could make the aim indicator optional and let the player choose their own level of difficulty here. Thanks for playing and sharing your feedback!
I managed to fill all of the feeder and am very impressed with my physics skills!
Very creative game, also lovably goofy.
Yesssssss—the birds will not go hungry tonight! Thanks for playing and sharing your feedback!
Wow, this feels like a polished game! Lots of fun to play 👍
Thanks for playing!
Love the game despite being so bad at it
You can do it! Once you master the three throwing positions it quickly shifts from trouble to fed in less than 30 seconds. My hint is to focus on learning the top position first as you’re most likely to stack up bonuses that way.
I loved this!! I really liked the losing cinematic with the fancy pigeons and the monocles and hats -the whole vibe with the music -and the cannons also added a zing to the gameplay! The music and art and layout was perfect and very polished -awesome work -definitely among my favorites in this jam!! :D
my best score so far 2360
Ah! Thanks for playing and sharing your feedback—that’s a great score!
I thought it would be an angry birds clone but this is better
Hangry birds are way more fun to hang out with than angry ones. Thanks for playing!
Oh man, this is amazing. Fun gameplay, angry mortimer birds, a calculative gameplay with bonus round. Maan, this is just so cool.
Thanks for playing and sharing your feedback! Mortimer P. Bird appreciates it!
This is really fun and satisfying! The birds shall be hangry no more.
We all love a well fed bird. Thanks for playing!
Very polished, the clinking of the particles on the glass was so nice, I missed on purpose a few times just to hear it haha
Thanks for playing and sharing your feedback. It blew my mind the first time I realized how powerful sound really is for these kinds of games. It’s such a different experience playing the game before/after adding it.
I loved this entry. Very fast-paced and I would say perfectly balanced in terms of difficulty. Actually made me plug in my mouse for this one! Great job, fellow solo-jammer!
Thanks for playing and leaving your feedback here!
Balancing was definitely the trickiest part with so many knobs to turn—I’d turn one knob and end up having to tweak the rest as I went. For example, each position has differing amounts of force and RNG added to each shot to adjust the difficulty, and I also had to do some major adjustments to stop the bonus seed those cannons from being so OP whenever they blast 💥
I love it xD They indeed hangry.
Thanks for playing and keeping our bird population well-fed!
Loved it! cutscene for losing made me laugh each time
Yay! Thanks for playing, and I’m glad you liked the game over cutscene—I wasn’t sure if the humor would land here but it sounds like it did.
This was really cool! The music and sound effects were really good and I love throwing all the particles. Good job!
Thanks for sharing your feedback after playing! I wish I could take credit for the audio but I’m always finding myself leaning on so many other talented folks here when sourcing the audio for my games.
I had fun playing this game!! simple and easy to pick up. The gameover cutscene is also cute
I’m glad it was easy for you to pick up and have fun! Thanks for playing and leaving your feedback.
Very neet game, liked the style and its fun
