Gives me Patrick's parabox vibes with the recursion, really fun!

A keyboard inside of a keyboard inside of a keyboard

i didnt even need the second clone in the last level smh

(1 edit)

how does that have anything to do with night though, i get its a bad ending

The art in this game is really cool, and its nice how you can easily move between rooms to compromise for how slow you are, this is fun!

Yoo you struggled on the same ones I did lol

The art style is cool, but I can't really play this game, I read you can't dash when far from the darkness so that needs an indicator, and yeah some cars move at light speed, also I feel like theres supposed to be something else happening but nothing is.

Btw on fullscreen gui is misplaced completely (also dont use esc as a button since it exits fullscreen)

Art is cool, don't really understand the story, and theres not really gameplay.

Its a cool little game, just wish hitting my head didnt send me into the abyss ):

Beat your score on my second attempt at this game

The plan was to have the holdable torch go out halfway through lolll you predicted

Thanks for playing! Will probably make the contrast better, and better signs pointing to the correct direction

(btw for the second screen you can go right which leads to immediate bad ending, or go left which has a 'wall' but its dark so you can just go through)

oh ok i prob cleared it wrong then

Soo closeee ):

Whatever me done

This game is soo good! I cant believe its unfinished this is peak. Honestly you only needed one level.

Even though it is just a normal get all endings game it displays it in its own way and makes it a unique mechanic. It even has the goal for an ending!

I got really stuck on getting an animal on the couch but then i became big brain and used a box so i couldnt move the animal ontop of the clover, allowing me to win, really awesome game. How did you make such good puzzles in 2 days?

so the data is stored on google docs? crazy

Point is theres multiple paths, just every path leads to a bad ending. The "main" path is shown by the signs, maybe that'll be made more clearer after the jam is over.

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, we'll continue it after the jam is over, and hopefully we'll be able to add levels with all sorts of these things

We'll try after the jam is over, the torch was already programmed we just didnt get to make any levels for it so it shouldnt be too hard to add in

alr the html build is playable now

The ship controls are really weird but this seems interesting

I like how the more things you interact with the later you get to work.

Very charming game, though its not a lot of gameplay

so is it just the slashing section? ok

also is the zombie supposed to be immune?

This is a really cool concept and is really fun too! Last level made me rage a bit lol

A bad ending for our mortal enemies specifically, I like this idea!

Fun to give them pain (:<

I like the outer screen effect and the fast movement, though there arent enough enemies and they dont deal damage either.

Think it could be more challenging, and maybe have a better application of the only bad endings prerequisite, but still pretty good! I'd say how loud the music/sfx is but there are sliders for them so it isnt really a good complaint.

Also I ran into a bug where the bullet sfx played infinitely or smth.

how the hell did you put a google doc into the game using gamemaker

also im literally clearing site data and it still somehow knows i played it before whatttt

(1 edit)

guess im getting better at music yippee

also yeah it got really tight i wish we could have added the moveable torch

krys didnt know how to add browser files, i told her how so she should be able to do it soon

Peak idle game

No problem

My friend suggested an info book to fix this problem. Honestly a really good idea! Since the jam ended, I won't add it anymore, but still good for me to know in future games.

If you got too much info, add an info book.

Oh god.

Thank you, and thanks for playing!

When I had the instructions at the starting point people complained that it was too much info haha. Hard to find a balance!

I guess it would be helpful to show what an asteroid is, both in world and on map, as well as other objects. Thanks for your feedback!

(1 edit)

How? There's a map in the bottom right of the screen that shows the location of every asteroid.

Fun gameplay, a bit confusing at first but got the hang of it.

Not too much to it really, just either make them your ally or your enemy, and suffer the consequences.

It's actually kind of cool that you're supposed to die in some areas if you want to get more coins.

Pretty fun!

The art has a nice style, but the player sprite doesn't change for wall jump which looks really weird.

The controls though... with how tight it is there needs to be a reduction in collision or at least coyote jump, and wall jumping is so painful. That area really needs tweaking.

I really love the puzzles in this game! Though since half of it is platforming, you need to make the physics more responsive. Also its funny getting blown up by the purple robots.

Visuals are great too, really polished in that sense.

Didn't get past the level with a lot of 0.1 boxes though because I'm not in the matrix bro I can't get past the national grid of lasers wth.

Thanks for playing! This is my first time making a non-level game so I wasn't really sure how to teach the player much. I tried to add tutorials every time you do a new action but I assume that wasn't enough. If you could tell me what parts you understood, like getting asteroids on targets, or using shop, or deleting other black holes that would really help!
