  • I love the splash art and the name. The controls are very intuitive. The music is great and really does fit the medieval theme. I did have a little issue with the ui after killing a king, there was some ui lag when clicking on challenges. The game was good and was very fun.

Yes

Summarise your game!
1360 A.D. No Scope is a low-poly action arcade shooter where you control a time-traveling bullet tasked with assassinating five kings. Players navigate through five levels filled with obstacles, innocent bystanders, and rings that present varying challenges. Precision and pathfinding skills are essential to successfully hit the target without collateral damage.
The game offers intuitive controls: aim and shoot using the mouse, and navigate the air to maneuver around obstacles. As players progress, levels introduce increasingly creative routes and solutions for eliminating the target.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
In 1360 A.D. No Scope, the player becomes a literal weapon—a time-traveling bullet. Instead of controlling the assassin, you navigate as the projectile itself, dodging obstacles and civilians to strike your target: the king. The game fully embodies the theme by making the player the dangerous object with a single, destructive purpose.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Something the team is very proud of is the original soundtrack that dynamically changes when shooting. It has been specifically designed to enhance immersion.
We would like you to test out the challenges, as they put a new spin around the bullet mechanic which is the heart of the game.
The different levels are designed in a way to encourage finding new paths and exploring different ways to hit the target.

I enjoyed the music, especially when it changes. The gameplay was really cool. It was quite a short game, but that's fine for a jam game. I think the idea of the game (about you being a bullet in the past) was a nice premise. I think the mechanics were implemented very well, you did great with that! Awesome game.

Great game, wish it was longer! Aiming also felt a little off for the smaller windows. Nice work!

amazing game, simple fun concept well executed in all regards. i absolutely love the juxtaposition between the soft music and epic music before and after you shoot, made me smile every time. Challenge mode was a great addition. Truly a perfect entry, great job!

Very fun game, I enjoyed playing :D Like the idea and epicenes of the flying bullet.

Submitted(+2)

Very fun and like people have mentioned short and sweet! I could imagine this being a great mobile game.

Developer(+1)

Thank you :)
Maybe we should look into that...

The rings challenges are a great way to make the game accessible to all player while still having a good challenge available. Very smart as well to capitalize on the already made levels in multiple routes

Developer

Thanks!

Hilarious idea and really fun to play. I loved the challenge modes. My friends and I got a lot of laughs from the music going so intense after the shot.

I think you could continue to build off this idea, it is really solid!

Developer(+1)

Glad you liked the OST :D
I'm also in love with the transition between "quiet bullet" and "epic bullet" xD

Very fun, but the credits was longer than gameplay :O

Developer(+1)

Yeah, you are right about that. We initially wanted to make more levels.
However, the game was becoming too large. So we settled on five levels and included a few challenges to make up for it :D

Submitted(+2)

Short and sweet! I found it to be just the right level of challenge, the level layouts are really well made. Nice job!

Developer

Thank you for the Feedback! As the Person responsible for the level layout I’m glad that you liked it :D

Good idea.

Really cool concept <3

It played at very low fps, but it played in like slow motion so I was still able to kill the king funnily enough

Developer(+1)

We're happy to hear that! We were using Godot's delta variable to adjust all movements to the FPS rate.
I wasn't sure if it would work, but apparently it dit :D

Really easy to pick up and play, although short it has good replayability with the ring challenges!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! We're happy you liked the ring challenges ^^

The  loudness spooked me lol I need to stop  playing games at full  volume. Fun little game though! The title was genius of course  😎

Developer(+2)

I'm happy you liked our title :D
We'll make sure to include a volume bar into the next build!

It was funny to play, I've hit all the targets

Developer(+1)

Epic! Royal!

Hahahah I was laughing the whole time. Amazing pun, super fun game. I had some performance issues and so I couldn't do the challenges.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thank you for your feedback! Could you tell us what exactly your performance issues were?

Submitted(+2)

That was a great game, really fun well done!

Developer

Thanks!

Simple and straight to the point! Implemented the game's theme to the dot and the ending was hilarious. I'm afraid to say that it is too easy, though. Maybe for future levels have the player to be in a maze or a dungeon where the pathing requires a bit more skill? Either way, I had fun for the short duration. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback! We're already discussing what kind of new challenges we could include in later versions of the game :D

Funny game, I had some issues sometimes with the UI but other than that I like it. Also, the name is 10/10, it got a laugh out of me.

Developer(+2)

Thank you for your feedback! We are glad you like our pun :D

Great game, it's funny because I had a similar idea regarding controlling the trajectory of a bullet but we ended up going with a different idea. Loved the game and was left wanting more. Would be cool to hear the sound of the bullet as you travel through the air. Keen to see how you expand upon it.

Thank you for your feedback! We would have loved to include more levels, but you know how it goes with game jams xD
