Nice game! I like the addition of collectibles, though I didn't quite understand what to do at the end and didn't even know what happened when I lost.  Some additional text may have helped with this. Overall, I absolutely love the art style and gameplay. Great work!

thanks for the feedback! The collectibles give you more platforms in the race so you can take shortcuts and actually win. I would have really liked to have added some dialog to more clearly communicate how all that worked, but it had to be cut for time.

Very solid job!  Really enjoyed the graphics and the controls were very snappy.  

If I had to give one bit of feedback, I didn't like how the wall jump always sent you the full distance in the other direction (it made a few places where I didn't mean to hold onto the wall annoying).  There was also a glitch I got one time where the camera didn't move to the next part of the level even though the player did (wasn't able to replicate it when I played through that chunk again, so at the very least super uncommon)

Really fun platformer with pretty comfortable controls.  The art-style is *really* nice, I absolutely love the look.

Edit: Oh also  appreciate the extra attention with the cute idle animation

The art and sounds are fantastic. The game was fun to play even though I tended to die a lot. I kept doing a wall jump instead of a double jump and dying or losing the race because of it. Also, it seemed like I needed to touch the platform guys then bring them back to an area to get them in the race, I think it would have been useful to show where that point was.

Over all this is a really good game and I had a lot of fun playing it.

Thanks for the feedback! The platform guys get collected after you touch the ground after you collect them like the strawberries in Celeste.  I think some clearer feedback on that is definitely needed

Great game ! Love the art as usual, the "wobbly" style and cute characters. I enjoyed getting those alternative collectibles, but I didnt understand the tutorial and only understood their purpose once at the race. Very cool use of the them and having to race was very fun, using the attack to get speed.

My knit picking would be that I would often walljump unintentionally, throwing in the wrong direction when I was actually trying to double jump. E as an input... kind of doesnt work, since it means I have to either do everything with my left hand and stop pressing D so I can press E, or use my right hand ackwardly, so I ended up using the mouse, which is weird since there is no reason to use the mouse, maybe having another alternate input on the keyboard so I can use my left hand for movement and jump and my right hand to attack, something like Enter or shift maybe ? I also wished I could reset during the race, I would play poorly and know I would lose and my only option was waiting to fail. Oh and there's a very long delay to stop moving, which wasn't much of a problem during the race, but during the platforming section it would often lead to weird death where my character would not stop and I would fall of a platform, I couldnt just, move a little, so it felt kind of slippery.

Great game ! Awesome art ! fun use of the theme and it was fun to race that cheating jetpack user !

I'm glad you could figure it out eventually even though it wasn't clear at first. I really wanted to have more dialogue to explain what you were doing in each of the three levels, but had to cut that for time. 

I'll add changing the attack input to my post jam list, and I'll try to look into adjusting the way speed works a little more. I did it like, 3 different ways before I finally settled on one, but I think I can figure out for a way to let you make tiny movements. I think having a pause menu with "restart level" would be a good addition as well.

Fun! I like the art and animations, they are fantastic. I also like how the checkpoint system works so you don't lose too much progress when you die, which is frequently because I feel the collisions are too exact. Maybe give a little lenience to the players? Good job!

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed it! if you mean the collisions on the spikes, I tried making them a bit smaller, but I guess I didn't make them quite small enough. That'll be an easy change to make in a post jam update.
