Cute little short platformer, with a branching story that although short is surely enjoyable! I see how you approached the theme, literal collaboration with the Ai ^-^
I will say the game is a bit unpolished, but it can surely be expected from a jam project: for example, not being able to close the “Fix the code” minigame initally led me to think it was a bug when I just should have used the mouse, though in my defense that kind of input was never requested before. Also, I don’t get why the right side of the Boring Job building has no door when you actually have to go that way in order to get 2 of the 3 endings; as you see, nothing a few days of additional work after the jam can’t fix. :)
Btw, the bad ending is my favourite, the music is SICK! -
Thank you soo much for the awesome feedback! I think i'll do some major updates after this jam haha. Also the "bad ending" song is "mourning palace" by dimmu borgir. It's a symphonic black metal song - my favorite kind <3
Super cute art and a unique take on the theme :)
Thank you so muchh!
Love the idea and story of the game, it' a jam game so it won't be super polished but the concept is great
Thank you so much! Judging from the comments i should really spend more time on polish. Thanks anyway
unique artstyle I love it !
Thanks!
I really like the idea of the game! And the story is super rich. Well done!
thank you so much!
I think that this idea was really ambitious for a jam
In fact is a bit unpolished and is very prototypal under many aspects!
Story is funny and intrigous and this is good! Overall nice entry and good job!😊
thank you so much! I get the unpolished feedback a lot, i should probably spend more time on that. Thank you very much again!
XDD finally someone saw it
Very nice concept with the switching back and force and hiding the codes in places. Very well thought out. I did press the Defend option and then nothing else happened.
Thanks for your feedback! I'll try to fix bugs like this after the jam
Neat game, It was a fun experience, though a bit unpolished. (I got the netural ending)
Thanks for your feedback!
Interesting idea, unfortunately it's quite unpolished and I encountered a lot of bugs. But I like the concept!
Thank you so much! Could you tell me the bugs please?
Textboxes not disappearing when switching worlds, glitching into objects, falling off the edge (unless that's somehow intended)…
Ahh, i noticed the textbox glitch but couldn't find a quick way to fix it. Thank you again!
Interesting game. But i get bad ending, sorry world =
Haha thank you very much!
Good game!
A very creative idea! I like the idea of switching between two worlds, and collecting hint / doing challenges in one that have an effect on the other. I like also how the visuals changes from on to the other, although I must adress the very blocky and not cohesive designs ^^’ I do think this kind of game could gain a lot by either going for a orthographic camera and switching to pixels art, or beeing low poly + animaition, but I do get the fact that’s it’s really hard to do. The story is nice, and it’s not just a big block of text ! there’s aniomation and effort put into it, although I must warn that for the good ending you can fall off the edge. And to avoid having your player stick to walls, give them a frictionless physic material !
GG
Ahh thank you so much for the feedback! I was doing this game during a big trip so i couldn't take my graphic tablet so i had to choose an artstyle possible to do with a mouse. Thank you again!!
Cool concept, i got the bad ending lmao. I like how to solve a couple of puzzles you need to pay attention in both "worlds", also liked the "fix the bugs" minigame lol, reminded me of among us. The music is insane, overall a very trippy experience, i liked it haha
Haha thank you so much! Fun fact: the whole code task actually was inspired by amongus tasks
Interesting idea, cool story, I wish the AI did more than just talk to you, for example maybe help you do some tasks or try to stop you doing something against him.
Solid submission, great job!
Thank you so much for the feedback! I actually didn't think of using the Ai that way (i should also probably give it a proper name instead of just "Evil Ai" haha)
nice gangsta’s paradise in the main menu lol. nice game it is a cool thing that there are multiple endings, i also liked the hints that you can see in one world could be applied in the other one. i especially liked the choice of music and contrast that it creates between worlds. i think it should’ve been more clear that you can interact with the code using your mouse or idk maybe it is just my problem that i didn’t figure it out from the start. i’ve also encountered several bugs when i could get stuck in textures when switching worlds but i guess with that kind of mechanic it is a usual thing. also nice art style although it definitely needs a bit more polishing
Thank you so much for the awesome feedback!
Great submission! Love the concept, and switching worlds is a really fun idea with allot of potential, nice work :)
thank you so much!
Definitely an interesting concept I found the platforming on the cyber world fun until the platforms were so close I really couldn't fall so the challenge was gone, I did like the option to change between worlds easily and that mechanic has potential.
Thank you so much! The platformer could use some more time, but for some reason i really wanted to quickly finish it. Thanks for the feedback!
it was fun and its a nice concept, yet pls add sound options next time, i nearly had a heart attack
Lmao thank you for the feedback, ill remember to add those in my later games
You can see the virtual world from the real one, and you can also transition from the virtual world to the real one after the keycoded section, but all in all, not bad
Seeing the virtual world from the real one was required to make one of the finishing puzzles. Also thanks for the feedback!
I still can't find the good ending :(
Its a bit tricky, EDIT: editing out the hint so ppl wont see it
