The visuals are nice but I didn't have much time to make it to the upper levels because I shortly die after the start.

Honestly, just more polish on the visuals, some form of in game tutorial and otherwise you'll be golden, good job yo!

The idea is interesting i definetly want to see this game finished :D What bugs me is the inconsistency of the visuals :/ Also the game definetly needs some kind of tutorial. Other then these i think you have found something cool you should work on this :D

Note: I would be happy if you could check out my game as well :d

Developer

Thank you for the really nice feedback. I really appreciate the kind words. I hope to go back and flesh this game out.

Wow, I can feel the LJN energy here... But seriously, I liked the idea of Icarus and in the future it may turn out to be a good game. Anyway you're doing great

Developer

Thanks, Ya I think it has potential. I have gotten good feedback. Thank you for the encouragement.

Nice work, but the idea is not entirely clear, it would be nice to see at least a written tutorial.

I agree completely with your assessment. I failed at the level design, but have gotten very positive feedback on how to fix it for future attempts. I have posted a guide on the page now, as I think you are right on the money and it needs it in order for people to understand what is going on. Thank you for taking the time to post constructive criticism. I really value the good feedback.

Rated the game yesterday, but was too tired to write up a comment! It was cool seeing this game come together, so thanks for hanging out and sharing over the week-end!

Obviously I can’t judge on the graphics, but the character you made is really cool, especially considering how rushed it was. The gameplay is alright and would definitely benefit from more levels to really explore and showcase the potential of the mechanics.

Keep working on it after the voting period is over! I would love to see more levels and puzzles :)

Thank you for the feedback. It was awesome to have your feedback and encouragement as I was making the game. I will have to work on this more I think there is real potential here.

Not understand this at all, you need to make the concept clearly , add some sound

Play my game as well

It's hard to judge on the art, because some of the art very pleasing and well implemented, but there is definitely a mismatch. The concept is interesting, but it lacks levels to really show off the mechanic.

That said, I actually would want to see more of this.

Developer(+1)

I agree with you completely. I had to scramble for the art so there is a mismatch. I rushed to get it in at the end. I had hopes for more levels but it was not in the cards. This was my first Game Jam so I may have over estimated my abilities to do it in a couple of days. I am glad you liked the concept and would like to see more. That means a lot to me.

Nice idea! The graphics and the puzzle/level design aren't the best, and the implementetion of the collision shapes are a bit fiddly, but the main idea of controlling a flying person like that feels soooo cool. Keep up with making games and continue the journey!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback I really appreciate it. I am glad the flying felt good. That was what I really wanted to accomplish. I know the art needs a revamp, I ran out of time to make it look good.
