It's a functional, tolerable game, and the pixel art is very nice too.

That plot twist cheeky ending could have been better executed.

Nice game, you should add more content in the future, keep it up.

Nice visuals and animation, good work with that ! There's an great mood overall.

Sometimes the double jump didn't refreshed when I expected it though, not sure what's up but it happened several times.

Developer

Ty for your feedback. There is probably a problem with the ground check. :o

hahaha everything I try is WRONG! it great, love the character design. Controls feel good, I agree it feel like I should be able to get more health somehow.

I liked the visuals and the idea, but i wish there was a way to restore health.

Developer

Ty for your feedback. :D

Like most other people, I really like the visuals! My small complaint is that I wanted to turn up my sound to hear the gorgeous music, but then I heard nothing but the jump sound. I suggest either lowering the jump volume, or adding a mute sound effects button.

I like the design idea of how deaths work. It treats the theme differently than other games! However, since hearts are so limited I found myself avoiding dying at all. Maybe killing an enemy to restore hearts could be a feature?

Developer

Thank you for your feedback. Your restoring heart idea sounds good!

This is really cool. I love the SNES sounding music!

Good.

Most of the games of this jam take "Failing" as the win condition, or something that's needed to win. I like how in your entry failing is more like a shortcut rather than a necessity, very creative.

The music and visuals were great, and fit very well with the game. I particularly loved the animations!

Please consider playing and rating my game if you can :)

Developer

Ty for your feedback. :) Sure I will check out your game!

I like the graphics, it's a nice platformed.  Nice idea of how you implemented the theme.

I didn’t quite get how the game related to the topic until I accidently flew into outer space :D

The visual are very nice! Though the holes in the ground look little off because it’s just a black bar. Some dirt to the sides could fix this.

This is personal preference, but I don’t like that you need to hold the space bar to jump higher. IMO it’s a bit awkward.

I didn’t hear any sounds, but that’s probably because I’m using Debian and I have to run this game using Wine, which isn’t always seamless. A Linux (and OSX) export would be welcome. I took a look at the sound assets and they fit the game well so I gave the sound rating a high score regardless :)

Developer

Thank you for your feed back. :) I will try to add a linux build.

I like the visuals. at first, I didn't get it because I could go further without hurting myself, but then I noticed what happens when I do :) nice idea

Developer

Thank you. :D

Pretty good game! Liked how damaging yourself would change things in the level sometimes. The only critique I really have is that sometimes I would only have 1 HP, but I would need to damage myself to get across. And so every time I would end up dying. Other than that great game!

Also can you check out my game please?

Thank you for your feedback!
You can always solve the level without hurting yourself. :)

Oh, I see. Just played through it again and realized that my jump was a lot higher than it seemed. Well then, I guess I have no critiques! Nice game.   :)
